In order to create a viewer profile, you will need a smartphone that is equipped for viewing the lens calibration VR scene.

In particular, it needs to meet these requirements:

  1. The smartphone must have the Google Chrome 44+ browser on Android, or Mobile Safari 8+ browser on iOS.

  2. The smartphone screen should be bigger than the total visible screen area (i.e. bigger than the smartphone facing apertures) on your viewer. Here are a couple of examples:

Getting started

You will need an Android or iOS smartphone that meets some basic requirements.

Place your phone in the viewer. Use the viewer parameter form below to calibrate your VR scene.

 

 

Tip: The VR scene is synced to the Viewer Parameter Form. You can adjust the parameters using your keyboard while the viewer is held up to your head.

Use the “tab” key to jump between fields. Use the up and down keyboard arrows to increase or decrease values within the fields.
