You can access your Google Photos library on WordPress.com using one of two ways: via the WordPress editor and via Media. Each method is explained below.
While editing a page or post on your site, you can add images from Google Photos by taking the following steps:

- Add any block that uses images, such as the Image block, the Gallery block, or the Cover block.
- Click the “Select Image” option.
- Select “Google Photos” from the list.
- If you have not connected to Google Photos yet, you will be prompted to do so here. Make sure to select the option to “See selected photos and videos from Google Photos” on the final screen, and click the “Continue” button.

- In the pop up window, click the “Open Google Photos Picker” button. A new tab will open with your Google Photos.
- Select the image you want to use, and click the “Done” button.
- Choose more than one image if you are using a Gallery block.

The image or images you added will be copied to your Media Library and count against your site’s storage capacity. The images will remain in your Media Library even if you disconnect Google Photos from your WordPress.com site.
