Gestapo - Hitler's Secret Police
Hermann Goering’s Secret State Police were ordered to arrest, and torture supposed enemies of the Reich to get confessions from them. All the powers of the German judiciary were taken into its hands and the courts were rendered superfluous. This is a compelling account of one of the true horror stories of the century.

Who Were the Gestapo Criminals | World War II Documentary
In June 1940, as France collapsed and prepared to live under German rule, the underworld chose its camp. Thus, Henri Chamberlin, known as “Henri Lafont”, was one of the first French people to offer his services to the Germans. Quickly promoted to head of a police department located at 93, rue Lauriston, Lafont gathered around him a team of professional criminals. Soon joined by corrupt police officers, these thugs will take advantage of their situation to harass the Jews, pillage the country and torture the Resistance. A look back at the abuses of these opportunists, as well as their involvement in the German repressive machine.

Some prisoners were beaten so bad by Gestapo Agents that they never recovered from their injuries. Following being tortured at the House of Horrors, many people were transported to concentration camps such as Bergen-Belsen or Ravensbruck where they were then executed. Executions also occured inside the Gestapo HQ, and many Soviet POWs were executed there.
