CHINA'S PANDA PARADISE | Chengdu Is A MUST VISIT Destination!
If you're traveling to China, DO NOT make the mistake of skipping Chengdu! After spending just 3 days here, I knew I should have booked for longer because there is so much to do in this lovely city. Of course most people visit for the world famous Chengdu Panda Breeding Research Center (highly recommend, obviously), but the city itself is very tourist friendly with beautiful parks, great shopping centers and also is a foodie paradise! I was kindly invited by the Sichuan International Communications Center to tour the city and create some content, so if you would like more tourist info from them, check out their website and YouTube channel down below:

People WARNED us NOT to visit CHINA again... (FIRST TIME IN CHENGDU) ๐จ๐ณ
We were warned by people after returning back the first two times to never visit China again. We are back for the third time and we can not wait to explore the beautiful city of Chengdu, China.
Chengdu is one of the biggest cities in China. We were shocked to see just how massive this city is. Despite the warnings, we found the people of Chengdu to be warm and welcoming. They were eager to share their culture and traditions with us, and we were grateful for the opportunity to learn from them. Chengdu, China really surprised us.
So, to those who warned us not to visit China again, we have just one thing to say - we can't wait to explore more.

Scenic mountains ring the fertile basin of Sichuan province, a land known for its agricultural abundance and famous cuisine of chili-infused sauces and spicy hot pot. Its capital has been continuously inhabited for more than 3,000 years, the only major city in China to have an unchanged name and location throughout the imperial, republican, and communist erasโa history that remains remarkably well preserved.
In the second century BC, Chengdu was one of Earthโs largest civilizations, with 350,000 inhabitants. In the 11th century, the worldโs first widely used paper money was created here. Unfortunately, things turned bleak in the 1500s when its residents were nearly all destroyed by a murderous Mongol invasion. For decades afterward, Chengdu remained so sparsely populated that wild tigers freely roamed its streets.
During the Chinese Civil War in 1949, Chengdu was the last stronghold in the country for the forces of Chiang Kai-shekโs Republic of China before their evacuation to Taiwan. In spite of its short-lived status as the capital, the city attracted loyal business people, workers, and academicsโan influx of talent that founded many of the industries and institutions that continue to make Chengdu the premiere cultural and economic center of Southwest China.
In the year 2000, Beijing launched the โOpen Up The West Programโ to encourage immigration from its wealthy coastal regions and spread prosperity to its 12 poorest areas in the west. As an established metropolis, Chengdu has been a major winner under the policy. Its population has doubled over the last 25 years while becoming one of Chinaโs most dynamic cities. Between 2010 and 2022 105 highrises over 100 meters were completed, catapulting it to 12th on the list of the worldโs tallest metropolises. But high-density construction is happening all across China. Whatโs special about Chengdu is the amount of land local officials have set aside for parks, paths, and athletic facilities, an effort to make it as livable as possible.
President Xi has officially designated it Chinaโs Park City Demonstration Area. Municipal leaders even brought in experts from the United Nations to better understand how ecological development can solve some of Chengduโs most pressing challenges. One ultimate goal is to create the worldโs largest continuous network of paths by 2050 by reserving 500 meters on either side of its largest ring highway, a project that will eventually produce 188 square kilometers of parks.

NASA Captures What No One Was Supposed To See
Earth is just a tiny speck in the whole galaxy, and aside from the Milky Way, we know next to nothing about what else exists in outer space. Because of our limited capability and technology, we canโt really explore much further than what we have now. However, in the past years, we have known quite a few things that we didnโt know before, thanks to NASAโs efforts. Among these discoveries, there are those that will probably make you not want to sleep at night. From Black Holes to the Hand of God, here is NASA Captures What No One Was Supposed To See

Exposing Underground Alien Bases: CIA's Psychic UFO Hunters
During the 1960s and 70s, the United States and the Soviet Union fought the Cold War on many fronts. Some of these engagements were obvious, like the Cuban Missile Crisis and the proxy wars in Asia.
Other conflicts were not so obvious. In the 1970s, America and Russia engaged in a new type of warfare: psychic warfare.
The CIA was actively recruiting and training people with a natural talent for remote viewing. Remote viewing is projecting your consciousness to anywhere on Earth and beyond.
One remote viewer, entirely by accident, found himself at Mount Hayes in Alaska. Mount Hayes is in the middle of...

The Afterglow of the Big Bang: The Cosmic Microwave Background
The Cosmic Microwave Background [CMB] is the oldest light in the universe that we can see or detect. It was emitted only 380,000 years after the universe was born, back when it was a much less peaceful place. The microwave-band static is fundamentally linked to the Big Bang, and if we map it precisely enough, we can discover a wealth of information about the age, composition and structure of the universe.

SUMMARY
=======
A minor-planet moon is an astronomical object that orbits a minor planet as its natural satellite. As of February 2019, there are 352 minor planets known or suspected to have moons. Discoveries of minor-planet moons (and binary objects, in general) are important because the determination of their orbits provides estimates on the mass and density of the primary, allowing insights of their physical properties that is generally not otherwise possible.The first modern era mention of the possibility of an asteroid satellite was in connection with an occultation of the bright star Gamma Ceti by the asteroid 6 Hebe in 1977. The observer, amateur astronomer Paul D. Maley, detected an unmistakable 0.5 second disappearance of this naked eye star from a site near Victoria, Texas. Many hours later, several observations were reported in Mexico attributed to the occultation by 6 Hebe itself. Although not confirmed, this documents the first formally documented case of a suspected companion of an asteroid.

A minor-planet moon is an astronomical object that orbits a minor planet as its natural satellite. It is thought that many asteroids and Kuiper belt objects may possess moons, in some cases quite substantial in size. Many hours later, several observations were reported in Mexico attributed to the occultation by 6 Hebe itself. Although not confirmed, this documents the first formally documented case of a suspected companion of an asteroid. As of October 2016, there are over 300 minor planets known to have moons.

SUMMARY
=======
A minor-planet moon is an astronomical object that orbits a minor planet as its natural satellite. It is thought that many asteroids and Kuiper belt objects may possess moons, in some cases quite substantial in size. As of October 2016, there are over 300 minor planets known to have moons.

The story of how the Rolls Royce Merlin engine equipped the extraordinary P-51 Mustang and the evolution of the Focke-Wulf Fw 190's engine, all the way to the story of the first functioning centrifugal turbojet in April 1937, Frank Whittle's creation.
The Rolls-Royce Merlin is a British liquid-cooled V-12 piston aero engine of 27-litres (1,650 cu in) capacity. Rolls-Royce designed the engine and first ran it in 1933 as a private venture. Initially known as the PV-12, it was later called Merlin following the company convention of naming its four-stroke piston aero engines after birds of prey.
After several modifications, the first production variants of the PV-12 were completed in 1936. The first operational aircraft to enter service using the Merlin were the Fairey Battle, Hawker Hurricane, and Supermarine Spitfire. The Merlin remains most closely associated with the Spitfire and Hurricane, although the majority of the production run was for the four-engined Avro Lancaster heavy bomber. A series of rapidly-applied developments, brought about by wartime needs, markedly improved the engine's performance and durability. Starting at 1,000 horsepower (750 kW) for the first production models, most late-war versions produced just under 1,800 horsepower (1,300 kW), and the very latest version as used in the de Havilland Hornet over 2,000 horsepower (1,500 kW).
One of the most successful aircraft engines of the World War II era, some 50 versions of the Merlin were built by Rolls-Royce in Derby, Crewe, and Glasgow, as well as by Ford of Britain at their Trafford Park factory, near Manchester. A de-rated version was also the basis of the Rolls-Royce/Rover Meteor tank engine. Post-war, the Merlin was largely superseded by the Rolls-Royce Griffon for military use, with most Merlin variants being designed and built for airliners and military transport aircraft.
The Packard V-1650 was a version of the Merlin built in the United States. Production ceased in 1950 after a total of almost 150,000 engines had been delivered. Merlin engines remain in Royal Air Force service today with the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, and power many restored aircraft in private ownership worldwide.
During his spare time on the squadron and at CFS Frank Whittle gave much thought to the application of the internal combustion turbine as a means to drive the aeroplane propeller. As others had before him, he soon discovered that the levels of component efficiency in any suitable gas turbine engine would be dauntingly difficult to achieve. And then, as he would say in later life, โthe penny droppedโ and he perceived the possibility of using the high velocity/high mass flow exhaust to obtain propulsion by reaction. In doing so, he was dismissing the altitude limitations of the internal combustion engine and the speed limitations of the propeller. A practical form of turbojet was borne. An entirely new horizon for aeronautics was about to materialize.
Whittle worked on the business of the design of an engine with a potential thrust sufficient to propel a small airplane at very high speeds and at very high altitudes. He settled on an arrangement that incorporated a two-stage centrifugal compressor and a two-stage (Curtis) turbine.
He showed his idea to the station commandant, Group Captain Baldwin, who, perceiving strategic importance and a need for secrecy, sent him to be interviewed by the engine division at the Air Ministry. They in turn, arranged for him to meet Dr A A Griffith at the Royal Aircraft Establishment (RAE). Griffith had started seriously considering gas turbines for propeller-driven aircraft as early as 1926. In a meeting of considerable consequence, Griffith rejected Whittleโs proposals and convinced the Ministry that the idea did not warrant any further attention. Unfortunately, Griffith had his own agenda. He would have known full well that he would be instructed to work on the turbojet should he admit any serious practicality. Despite this setback, Whittle went ahead and applied for a patent โ granted in January 1930. However, as the President of the Air Council declared that there was no need for secrecy, it was published in 1931.

SUMMARY
=======
The fictional portrayal of our Solar System has often included planets, moons, and other celestial objects which do not actually exist in reality. Some of these objects were, at one time, seriously considered as hypothetical planets which were either thought to have been observed, or were hypothesized in order to explain certain celestial phenomena. Often such objects continued to be used in literature long after the hypotheses upon which they were based had been abandoned.
Other non-existent Solar System objects used in fiction have been proposed or hypothesized by persons with no scientific standing, while yet others are purely fictional and were never intended as serious hypotheses about the structure of the Solar System.

One remote viewer, entirely by accident, found himself at Mount Hayes in
Alaska. Mount Hayes is in the middle of nowhere. There's no civilization for miles. But something was calling him to the mountain.
Then he looked *inside* the mountain. There was a base hidden inside Mount Hayes. Then he saw - this was not a base built by humans.
When multiple sources confirmed the existence of the base, they soon realized: this was only the beginning.
