Grove Street (PATH station)

Grove Street is a PATH station at the junction of Grove Street, Newark Avenue and Railroad Avenue in Jersey City, New Jersey. Opened on September 6, 1910 as Grove-Henderson Streets station, it is situated in the heart of downtown Jersey City. The station is served by the Newark – World Trade Center and Journal Square – 33rd Street trains.

Station layout

Originally the station had exits at either end. The western stair led to the intersection of Grove Street and Newark Avenue and a simple kiosk underneath the Pennsylvania Railroad's mainline viaduct, which ran above what is now Christopher Columbus Drive. The station's easterly end exited to Henderson Street (now Marín Boulevard). The railroad viaduct was taken down in the late 1960s, and the station was reconfigured in the 1970s. As part of the reconstruction, the eastern and western exits were closed in favor of a mezzanine situated in a triangle formed by the intersections of Grove Street, Newark Avenue, and Columbus Drive. Two stairways from the platform level connect to the mezzanine, with fare turnstiles at the top of each stairway. Two exits lead to street level; one, with escalators, leads to the station's primary kiosk, while the other is a stairway that leads to the south side of Columbus Drive.

  • Street (Nina Hagen album)

Street is the fifth studio album by German singer Nina Hagen released on July 23, 1991 by Mercury Records. The album is produced by Zeus B. Held with songs written mostly by Hagen. It features songs in both, English and German. Hagen also worked with Anthony Kiedis and John Frusciante of Red Hot Chili Peppers or with English dance music producer Adamski, with whom she later recorded the song "Get Your Body". After toning down her image with the release of her 1989 album Nina Hagen, she kept on making more downtempo songs, this time, with elements of hip hop. Three singles from the album were released, "In My World", "Berlin" and "Blumen Für Die Damen". Street also contains a cover version of the hit song "Good Vibrations" by The Beach Boys.

The cover of the album features Hagen wearing three different outfits designed by Jean Paul Gaultier and Vivienne Westwood, with her name written in a Walt Disney-logo-resembling font.

  • The Annoying Orange

The Annoying Orange is an American comedy web series created by former Minnesota film student and MTV production assistant Dane Boedigheimer in 2009. It stars its creator as an anthropomorphic orange who annoys other fruits, vegetables, and various other objects by using jokes, which are sometimes crude-humored. The YouTube channel "Annoying Orange" has over almost 5 million subscribers.

Despite the show's negative critical reception, the show's popularity after its first episode led it to become the subject of a TV series, a video game, a range of toys, backpacks, couches, pillows, blankets, lunchboxes, drink bottles, mattresses, towels and a T-shirt line. Other accessories, such as costumes of the series characters, have also appeared on the market for the company.

    Plot

The show is centered on Orange (voiced by Dane Boedigheimer), who resides on a fruit cart display in a kitchen with other objects such as his best friend, Pear, a Bartlett pear (also voiced by Boedigheimer). Other fruits include Passion, a (female) passion fruit played by iJustine, a grapefruit (voiced by Robert Jennings), a tiny apple known as Midget Apple (though he prefers the name Little Apple), a small marshmallow, and an elderly lemon named Grandpa Lemon, all of whom were not main characters until later episodes. Most episodes consist of Orange heckling other characters until they meet a sudden and gruesome end, usually by evisceration with a chef's knife (although the implements used to cut them up range from a blender to a toy pinwheel). Usually, Orange tries to "warn" them before it happens, blurting out the weapon-in-use, such as "Knife!"

    Orange (2015 film)

Orange is a 2015 Japanese teen fantasy drama film based on the manga series of the same name by Ichigo Takano. It was released on December 12, 2015.

    Plot

In the letter, she liked transfer student Kakeru Naruse (Kento Yamazaki). Kakeru Naruse carried emotional scars from his mother's suicide and he died one year later. 26-years-old Naho Takamiya thinks about Kakeru Naruse often.

    Cast

  • Tao Tsuchiya
  • Kento Yamazaki
  • Ryo Ryusei
  • Hirona Yamazaki

  • Kurumi Shimizu
  • Reception

The film was number-one on its opening weekend in Japan with US$2.58 million.

Colegrove is a surname that developed in England between the 12th and 15th centuries. The name may have originated from a grove along the River Cole, Wiltshire, a tributary of the River Thames in England. Another explanation as to the origin of the name is from the Middle English cole ‘coal’ + grave ‘pit’, ‘grave’ (Old English col + græf). Other forms of spelling in the past include ‘Colgrove’, ‘Colegrave’, ‘Colgrave’, ‘Coulgrove’. The first records of the Colegrove name were in 14th century England. The family name is found throughout the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Ireland and other nations. The first known mention of Colgrove as a surname was of one Johannes Colgrove of Kiddington, Oxfordshire from 1377 during the Poll Tax levied to finance the war against France by John of Gaunt. Over two hundred years later, there were still people with that surname in Kiddington and the surrounding towns, such as Swalcliffe, Oxfordshire. There were also place names in England with the name Colegrove. The earliest mention of which was in a grant of land from one "William de Colethrop" to his son John in Kemerton, Gloucestershire recorded in 1260. Another place named Colegrave was listed in Northaptonshire records in 1293 in The National Archives of the UK, and later in 1545 in Essex. The earliest known Colegrove who settled in America was Francis Colegrove who came from England to Rhode Island colony about the year 1683, and from whom descend much of the family in the United States today. Belgrave from England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 - Meaning, Origin, History & Migration Routes of Surname

The surname Belgrave comes from when the family resided in the town of Belgrave in Leicestershire. The town was originally known as Merdegrave, meaning marten grove, but the name was changed after the Norman Conquest of England due to confusion of the first syllable with the Old French word merde, meaning filth. Appropriately, the name was changed to Belgrave, meaning beautiful grove. Belgrave from England. The surname Belgrave was first found in Suffolk, where they held a family seat from ancient times, long before the Norman Conquest in 1066 A.D.... Hope my videos can be helpful to you!
