In mathematics and statistics, the arithmetic mean (pronunciation: /ˌærɪθˈmɛtɪkˈmiːn/, stress on third syllable of "arithmetic"), or simply the mean or average when the context is clear, is the sum of a collection of numbers divided by the number of numbers in the collection. The collection is often a set of results of an experiment, or a set of results from a survey. The term "arithmetic mean" is preferred in some contexts in mathematics and statistics because it helps distinguish it from other means, such as the geometric mean and the harmonic mean.
In addition to mathematics and statistics, the arithmetic mean is used frequently in fields such as economics, sociology, and history, and it is used in almost every academic field to some extent. For example, per capita income is the arithmetic average income of a nation's population.
While the arithmetic mean is often used to report central tendencies, it is not a robust statistic, meaning that it is greatly influenced by outliers (values that are very much larger or smaller than most of the values). Notably, for skewed distributions, such as the distribution of income for which a few people's incomes are substantially greater than most people's, the arithmetic mean may not accord with one's notion of "middle", and robust statistics, such as the median, may be a better description of central tendency.
Mean is the fifth and final album by the California-based hard rock band Montrose and released in 1987. It has much more of a glam metal sound than previous Montrose albums.
According to Ronnie Montrose, singer Johnny Edwards and drummer James Kottak were still officially in the band Buster Brown at the time of the recording of Mean. They later played together in the first line-up of the band Wild Horses.
It features the song "M for Machine" which was written as a potential song for the 1987 American cyberpunk action film RoboCop, directed by Paul Verhoeven.
Drummer James Kottak would go on to join the original line-up of hard rock/glam metal band Kingdom Come, remaining with that band during their most commercially successful period, prior to reconnecting with Edwards in Wild Horses. After leaving Wild Horses, Edwards became the frontman for Foreigner on their 1991 album, Unusual Heat.
Mean (which stands for Music, Entertainment, Art, News) is an American bi-monthly magazine that covers a wide spectrum of pop culture, focusing on celebrities in the fields of music, fashion, art, and film.
History and profile
Mean began as a music zine and alternative magazine in 1997 and continued in that format through 2001, before being re-launched as a national lifestyle publication in 2004.Mean is published by Kashy Khaledi Media and distributed by Curtis Circulation. Its headquarters is in Los Angeles, CA.
A factory (previously manufactory) or manufacturing plant is an industrial site, usually consisting of buildings and machinery, or more commonly a complex having several buildings, where workers manufacturegoods or operate machinesprocessing one product into another.
Factories arose with the introduction of machinery during the Industrial Revolution when the capital and space requirements became too great for cottage industry or workshops. Early factories that contained small amounts of machinery, such as one or two spinning mules, and fewer than a dozen workers have been called "glorified workshops".
Most modern factories have large warehouses or warehouse-like facilities that contain heavy equipment used for assembly line production. Large factories tend to be located with access to multiple modes of transportation, with some having rail, highway and water loading and unloading facilities.
Highly Evolved is the debut studio album by Australianalternative rock band The Vines. It was released on 14 July 2002 on Capitol Records. Produced by Rob Schnapf, Highly Evolved was an immensely popular debut, part of a trend towards garage rock revival bands known as much for the relentless hype from the UK music press as for their music; The Vines were frequently compared to Nirvana. The debut single, "Highly Evolved", was chosen as Single of the Week by influential British music magazine NME. The magazine also voted it the 2nd best album of the year in 2002. The album was also included in the book 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die. In October 2010, it was listed in the book 100 Best Australian Albums.
Recording and mastering
Highly Evolved was recorded and mixed at Sound Factory and Sunset Sound Recorders in Hollywood, California. It was recorded between July 2001 and February 2002. The recording was assisted by Craig Conard, Kevin Dean and Nathan Burden.
"Get Free" was mixed at Enterprise 1, Burbank, California and was assisted by Brian Douglass.

Mean, Median, Mode, and Range - How To Find It!
This central tendency statistics math video tutorial explains how to calculate the mean, median, mode, and range given a data set of odd numbers and even numbers. The average / arithmetic mean is the sum of all numbers divided by the number of terms in a sequence. The median is simply the middle number. In an even data set, the median is the midpoint or average of the two middle numbers. The mode is number with the highest frequency or the number that appears most often. The range is the difference between the highest number and the lowest number. This video contains plenty of examples and practice problems.

In this topic, we will explain the Arithmetic mean and how to Calculate it.
And you can solve some examples for about this topic from the following link:
