Chinese people are extremely scared, Rare super typhoon hits Beijing destroying a series of houses, thousands of trees are broken, buildings shake like an earthquake, supermarkets are out of goods because people buy and hoard for fear of the storm lasting longer. Meanwhile, other provinces and cities are also being fiercely attacked: A series of ancient French architectural works in Henan province were blown away by a level 15 storm, the strongest storm in the province in 60 years. In Chongqing city, in just 6 hours, there were more than 7000 violent lightning strikes, the sound was like a cannon, the hospital was overloaded, crowded together by asthma patients due to the storm.

Every day, thousands of Chinese visitors cross the border to Mong La in northeast Myanmar. And it’s obvious why: You can get anything here, from bee’s nests full of wiggling larvae to liquor served out of vats containing dead cobras to a complete crocodile carcass soaked in wine.
Mong La is a 5,000-square-kilometer fiefdom in the Golden Triangle region ruled by a communist guerrilla turned drug lord. It’s infamous for the flagrancy of its sin-based industries like prostitution, drug trafficking, and the selling of endangered animals. Along the town’s neon-soaked streets there are dozens of garish hotels, seedy gambling halls and nightclubs, and—further out of town—flashy casinos. Everything here is geare...

US lied about China again.....
According to Reuters: The pentagon ran secret anti-vax campaign to undermine China during pandemic. This is a major issue that most media outlets are ignoring, but I wanted to talk about it and give my opinion on this growing problem. It seems the US wants to blame other nations of "interference", but never wants to take reasonability for its own actions. This report doesn't surprise me, but it is difficult to accept because the people that are actually affected by this misinformation campaign, are often innocent.

CHECK OUT MY SPONSOR: Rocket money

Everything here is geared toward Chinese visitors, who cannot legally gamble in their home country: Signs are in Chinese, the currency and phone networks are Chinese, and clocks are set to Beijing time.

Everything here is geared toward Chinese visitors, who cannot legally gamble in their home country: Signs are in Chinese, the currency and phone networks are Chinese, and clocks are set to Beijing time.

Chinese Railways - BJ & DF5 class diesel locomotives work trains on the Nanpiao coal railway
The Nanpiao coal railway was a quite well known steam railway for many years in China using a fleet of SY steam locomotives. The railway replaced these with BJ (or Beijing) class diesel locomotives which have become a rarity themselves these days. Most of the BJ class had also been retired and were always known in Nanpiao for their scruffy appearance. The mine has had a resurgance in recent years which has prompted them to purchase seven DF5 diesel locomotives. One BJ class was kept in use, and freshly overhauled just prior to my visit, to work the spoil line where the DF5's couldn't owing to the heavier axle load. Just after my visit, a second BJ was announced to return to service. Sadly the working BJ class had a collision with a truck at a level crossing in 2017 and both BJ's were put u...

China diesel locomotive DFH3-2003 hauls the passenger train in the Tiefa coal district. ECN001693
Full of anticipation, our group is waiting at the railroad embankment close to Xiaogangcun at the railway line from Diaobingshan to Daming in the Tiefa coal mining district, China. The master control disposition has assured us in perpetual telephone calls that the YJ steam locomotive would haul the afternoon passenger train. The disappointment is heavy, when, instead of the steam locomotive, the light blue diesel locomotive DFH3-2003 has the passenger train on the hook. After this train, the steam locomotive festival in Tiefa was over for us.

CSR Group
Since 2001, CSR Sifang Locomotive and Rolling Stock Co., Ltd. has implemented the principle of “universal, serialization, modularization, and standardization” of shunting locomotives by the Ministry of Railways of the People’s Republic of China, and based on the Dongfeng 5 (modified) locomotive. Developed the Dongfeng DF7G locomotive. The technical solutions of each system of the Dongfeng DF7G locomotive, including the car body structure and running gear, are basically the same as those of the Dongfeng 5 (modified) locomotive, and many parts can be interchanged. The locomotive is equipped with a 12V240ZJ diesel engine with a loading power of 2000 kilowatts; it is equipped with a JF208A synchronous traction generator and a ZQDR-410, ZD124 or ZD109J DC traction motor. The auxiliary system is driven by an alternator. The locomotive control system adopts Japanese OMRON Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), which has the functions of fault diagnosis and detection. The locomotive has a nominal power of 1,610 kilowatts and a minimum curve radius of 138 meters
The first Dongfeng DF7G locomotive completed trial production in December 2002 and participated in the first new locomotive quality exhibition held by the Chinese Ministry of Railways in January 2003. After the Dongfeng DF7G locomotive has completed various required tests, Sifang Locomotive and Rolling Stock Co., Ltd. shall, in accordance with the supervision standards of the Ministry of Railways on newly-built locomotives, and the engineering work of locomotive pipelines and lines, and the production process of "painting before assembly", Completed the construction drawings of the locomotive. In the second half of 2003, the Dongfeng DF7G locomotive of Sifang Locomotive and Rolling Stock Co., Ltd. began to be put into mass production, and it was included in the designated tender for procurement by the Chinese Ministry of Railways. As of the end of 2006, Sifang Locomotive and Rolling Stock Co., Ltd. has produced a total of 90 Dongfeng DF7G locomotives (0001~0090), with red and white paint on the body.
In 2007, China South Locomotive Group integrated the diesel locomotive business of the group in accordance with the requirements of the overall development plan, and integrated the diesel locomotive products of Sifang Locomotive and Rolling Stock Company, including the technical drawings, production equipment, customer resources and after-sales of Dongfeng DF7G and Dongfeng 5 locomotives. Services were integrated and the business was transferred to CSR Qishuyan Locomotive Co., Ltd. as a whole. Since 2008, Qishuyan Company has continued to produce Dongfeng 7G locomotives. As of the beginning of 2020, a total of 36 units (0091-0126) have been produced.

China CNR Beijing Erqi Locomotive Factory (later restructured into Beijing Erqi Rail Transit Equipment Co., Ltd.) Since the Dongfeng 7 series shunting locomotive products have not been standardized, in order to meet the choices and requirements of different users, it is equivalent to redesigning new The model of the company has increased production costs and poor accessory versatility, which is also not conducive to the training and maintenance work of the application department. Therefore, in accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Railways on the realization of "serialization, standardization, modularization, and informationization" of shunting locomotives, the Erqi Factory began to carry out modular design for Dongfeng 7 series locomotives in 2002, and successfully developed two types of Dongfeng locomotives in 2003. The 7 series of modular locomotives are Dongfeng 7C modular locomotives and Dongfeng 7G modular locomotives. The former is mainly used by off-road factory and mining enterprise users, while the latter is mainly used for national railway in-road bidding.

The Nanpiao coal railway was a quite well known steam railway for many years in China using a fleet of SY steam locomotives. The railway replaced these with BJ (or Beijing) class diesel locomotives which have become a rarity themselves these days and most of these had been retired when I visited. The mine has had a resurgance in recent years which has prompted them to purchase seven DF5 diesel locomotives.
