The UFL occupied the second tier of professional football in the United States, behind the National Football League. The UFL primarily consisted of players who have at one time or another played for an NFL team. Although the league had no connection with the NFL, and had never intended to foster any such connection, some speculated that it could have become a minor or "developmental" league for the NFL, including the UFL's own commissioner.
The 2015 United Football League was the sixth season of the UFL since its establishment as a semi-professional league in 2009. Ten (10) teams are competing in UFL Division 1 while seven (7) teams in Division 2.
Ceres outclassed Team Socceroo 6-0 on 15 July 2015 to clinch the 2015 United Football League title with two games to spare.
Teams
UFL Division 1 will headline a complete 10-team cast for the highest level of Philippine League football. Ceres and Manila Jeepney will play in Division I, replacing the relegated Pasargad and the spot left by Manila Nomads last season.
The 2011 United Football League (known as the LBC United Football League for sponsorship reasons) began with seven teams in Division 1 and eight teams in Division 2. This was the second season of the United Football League since its establishment as a semi-professional tournament in 2009.

History and Downfall of the United Football League (2009-2012)
My account of the history of the United Football League (UFL), an alternate league that you may or may not remember, with photos and game videos from the league's archive. This comes from my time as a fan and brief intern in the league, and a football fan in general, following its rise and fall.
Feel free to put on your own background music under it, this one's just 20-some minutes of talking straight through, I didn't want to put anything repetitive under the voice that you'd get sick of. (And I apologize for the poor audio quality/static, was going to re-do the video but seems like it's taking off, so too late now)
