US Highway 41 in Wisconsin - V1 - Wrightstown to De Pere (1929 Milwaukee Journal Tour Club)
This is a video of a drive I took along Brown County Road D North in Wisconsin. The route I drove for the first 12:30 of the video, from Wrightstown north, appears on a 1929 map distributed by the Milwaukee Journal Tour Club as US Highway 41. I have not seen this alignment on any other maps, so I suspect it was either a temporary alignment or was never an alignment of US 41. It is a nice drive, though, on a pretty day.
From approximately 12:30, at the junction with Red Maple, until the end of the video, the portion of Lost Dauphin Road driven into De Pere is indeed the 1926-c1950 former alignment of US 41.
