Vheissu (pronounced "vee-sue") is the fourth studio album by Thrice. It was released on October 17, 2005 by Island Records and peaked at #15 on the Billboard 200 chart. The album was released in two separate versions, including a limited edition version containing a booklet detailing the creation process of each track.
The album is characterized by many critics as being a rather experimental deviation from Thrice's post-hardcore roots, with the implementation of elements such as piano melodies ("For Miles"), electronica ("Red Sky"), folk Japanese music-box undertones ("Music Box" - The melody comes from the song Sakura Sakura) and chain gang chant choruses ("The Earth Will Shake"). UK producer Steve Osborne, whose past credits include many Brit-pop hits, was sought by Thrice to gain a new perspective on the songwriting process, enabling the band to expand their musical influences and produce a different album.
According to an interview with drummer Riley Breckenridge, the group recorded the album at Bearsville Studios, the same place he recorded drum tracks for 2003's Artist in the Ambulance. In describing reasons for returning to Bearsville, Breckenridge said, "It's so secluded and so cut off from everything ... and it was really cool to kinda separate ourselves from the rigors of being at home and the distractions of friends and families, and traffic and the L.A. and Orange County lifestyle."
The 2008 Six Nations Championship, known as the 2008 RBS 6 Nations because of the tournament's sponsorship by the Royal Bank of Scotland, was the ninth series of the rugby unionSix Nations Championship. Including the previous incarnations as the Home Nations and Five Nations, this was the 114th series of the northern hemisphere rugby union championship. Fifteen matches were played over five weekends from 2 February to 15 March, resulting in Wales winning the Grand Slam, their second in the last four championships and tenth overall. In winning the Grand Slam, Wales also won the Triple Crown for beating each of the other Home Nations for the nineteenth time. Wales also conceded only two tries in the championship, beating England's previous record of four tries conceded. Wales' Shane Williams was named as the RBS Player of the Championship.

Dust is Benjy Davis Project's third studio album. It was released on September 18, 2007. Benjy Davis Project was soon signed to Rock Ridge Music in August 2008, and re-released Dust on November 4, 2008. The new release was remixed and included three new songs. The song "Sweet Southern Moon" was featured in an advertisement campaign for Louisiana-based Abita Brewing Company.
Track listing
All songs were composed by Benjy Davis, except as noted.
"Dust" is a song recorded by American country music group the Eli Young Band. It was released on February 3, 2014 as the second single from their fifth studio album, 10,000 Towns. The song was written by Jon Jones, James Young, Kyle Jacobs and Josh Osborne.
Critical reception
The song received a favorable review from Taste of Country, which said that "it rocks like they’ve never rocked on radio before." The reviewer described it as "fun, but not at the expense of poignancy" and "built to be a slow burn." Matt Bjorke of Roughstock gave the song four and a half stars out of five, writing that "the guitars and all-around sound are clearly Eli Young Band and less trend chasing, which is nice to see." He called it "a strongly-written song with an inviting, uplifting melody." Kevin John Coyne of Country Universe gave the song a B grade, calling it "professionally done and not too cluttered." He felt that there was "nothing identifiably country about it, but then again, nothing identifiably bad, either."

APTV correspondent Gunz recently got an audience with Dustin Kensrue, guitarist/frontman for post-hardcore conceptualists Thrice. The relatively quiet Kensrue was in NYC during the tour celebrating the 15th anniversary of the band’s high watermark album Vheissu.
From their earliest recordings to the massive gesture that was 2018’s Palms, Thrice has never made any half-measures. Often tagged as “post-hardcore,” they’ve been able to transcend all boundaries, from both within and from fans and critics alike. You could use the shorthand of “Warped Tour Radiohead” to describe their career, but you’d be glossing over the details. Kensrue, guitarist Teppei Teranishi, bassist Eddie Breckenridge and his brother, drummer Ryan Breckenridge have expanded their vision wit...

Kensrue, guitarist Teppei Teranishi, bassist Eddie Breckenridge and his brother, drummer Ryan Breckenridge have expanded their vision with each succeeding record. The turning point of that journey was definitely their 2005 release Vheissu. The band incorporated more electronic textures to their heavier sound, creating the kind of atmospheres that made many of their fans pause to consider.
Here Kensrue and Gunz discuss everything from the first chord he’d play automatically if someone handed him a guitar to the band that Kensrue would go see play their classic records in their entirety. Talk also turns to the mission of his Carry The Fire podcast; and Gunz reminiscing on the first time he saw the band, opening for Midtown and Face To Face. Another point of interest being Kensrue’s conflict between wishing to celebrate this grand chapter in his band's career, but being wary of having it perceived as a “cash-grab.”
