Robert Peter "Robbie" Williams (born 13 February 1974) is an English singer, songwriter, and actor. He was a member of the pop group Take That from 1990 to 1995 and again from 2009 to 2012. He has also had commercial success as a solo artist.
Williams rose to fame in the band's first run in the early-to-mid-1990s. After many disagreements with the management and group members, Williams left the group in 1995 to launch a hugely successful solo career, which saw his first seven albums each reach number one in the UK. Williams also released seven number-one singles and found similar success across Europe. On 15 July 2010, it was announced he had rejoined Take That. The group's subsequent album became the second fastest-selling album in UK chart history and the fastest-selling record of the century at the time.Gary Barlow has since confirmed that Williams had left the band for a second time, although the departure was amicable and that Williams was welcome to rejoin the band in the future.
In April 2009, Williams, who at the time was the club's longest serving player, along Stanley team-mates Peter Cavanagh, Jay Harris and David Mannix and Bury player Andy Mangan were charged with breaching the Football Association's betting rules, with some accused of gambling thousands of pounds on their team to lose. The scandal related to Accrington Stanley's last game of the last League Two season, at home to Bury.
Robbie Williams (died 20 December 2007) was the first Indigenous Australian councillor to sit on the Brisbane City Council. He had held the role only since October 2007, but had been tipped to win a seat in the council elections in March 2008. Previously Williams had served three terms as a regional councillor with ATSIC and was later the ATSIC commissioner for Brisbane and southeast Queensland. He was widely known for his community work, and was the founder and chair of First Contact Aboriginal Corporation for Youth, an organisation dedicated to improving the lives of indigenous youth, in 1992.
Williams was the son of Hazel, an Aboriginal with connections to the Yugambeh language group, and his father was Bob Williams, a butcher. He trained and worked as a butcher for several years before gaining a diploma in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander welfare and joining the Australian Public Service, working in the Department of Social Security.
He was married to Trish and had four children. He died of a heart attack at the age of 45 on 20 December 2007.

Things was a song written by Bobby Darin in 1962. It reached #3 in the U.S., and #2 in the UK.
In 1962, Darin also began to write and sing country music, with hit songs including Things (U.S. #3) (1962). It was the final Darin single released on the Atco Records unit of Atlantic Records before he began recording for Capitol Records. While vault material would continue to be issued on Atco, Darin would later return to Atlantic Records. The song was sung by Dean Martin and Nancy Sinatra in the 1967 TV special: Movin' With Nancy, starring Nancy Sinatra, which was released to home video in 2000.
Other songs from that period: "You're the Reason I'm Living" (U.S. #3), and "18 Yellow Roses" (U.S. #10). The latter two were on Capitol Records, which Darin joined in 1962, before returning to...

Sometimes I feel like I am Sailing on a sunken dream I try to read the signs But I don't know what they mean I know when I'm with you I'm a rich man baby Grace, I'm not yet born Come embrace A soul that's torn I have got so much to give you My heart is starved of love In these radio days I try to listen hard To what my conscience says I know I've sold my soul I'm going to earn it back now Grace, I'm not yet born Come embrace A soul that's torn I have got so much to give you Now that you believe in me We can fly away Somewhere safe I know that you will always be Giving more than you take I know when I'm with you I'm a rich man baby Grace, I'm not yet born Come embrace A soul that's torn Grace, it can mend if you make my heart your friend Grace Grace Grace
