Shari Watson (born October 10, 1971, St. Louis, Missouri), known as Truth Hurts, is an American Contemporary R&B singer-songwriter.
In 2000, Watson signed to Dr. Dre's Aftermath Entertainment label. She first appeared on Busta Rhymes' 2001 hit single, "Break Ya Neck", as a backing vocalist. She played a small role in the 2001 remake of "The Wash" starring Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg. She also appeared as a background vocalist on the D12 song, "Nasty Minds". For her first solo LP Truthfully Speaking, issued on Aftermath in 2002, Truth Hurts enlisted the production talents of Dr. Dre, Timbaland, Hi-Tek, and DJ Quik. Her debut single, "Addictive", was a Top 10 hit in the United States, and featured a verse from hip hop artist, Rakim. The original song, Lata Mangeshkar's "Thoda Resham Lagta Hai", was used as the main base of the track within the chorus,. The copyright holders sued Aftermath and parent company Interscope Records for $500 million, and issued an injunction against further sales or performances of the record. A judge later ruled that the album was not to be sold without being stickered with proper credits for Mangeshkar.
Truth Hurts or The Truth Hurts may refer to:
Confessions is the fourth studio album by American R&B recording artist Usher; it was released on March 23, 2004, by Arista Records. Recording sessions for the album took place during 2003 to 2004 with production by Jermaine Dupri, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis and Lil Jon, among others. Primarily an R&B album, Confessions showcases Usher as a crooner and incorporates musical elements of hip hop and crunk. The album's themes generated controversy about Usher's personal relationships; however, the album's primary producer Jermaine Dupri claimed the record reflects his personal story.
The album was an instant commercial success in the United States, selling 1.1 million copies in its first week. Its continued success was bolstered by its four chart-topping singles. As a strategy to boost its sales amid threats of bootlegging, a special edition was issued with the hit single "My Boo". Despite some mixed criticism towards its lyrical substance, Confessions received mostly positive reviews and earned Usher several awards, including a Grammy Award for Best Contemporary R&B Album.
Restless Heart is an American country music band established in 1984. The band's original members were John Dittrich (drums, background vocals), Paul Gregg (bass guitar, background vocals), Dave Innis (piano, keyboards, rhythm guitar, background vocals), Greg Jennings (lead guitar, mandolin, background vocals), and Verlon Thompson (lead vocals), who was replaced by Larry Stewart before the band signed to RCA Records Nashville.
Between 1985 and 1992, the band released four studio albums (Restless Heart, Wheels, Big Dreams in a Small Town, and Fast Movin' Train) and a greatest hits album, The Best of Restless Heart. Stewart departed in 1992 for a solo career, with Dittrich, Innis, and Gregg alternating as lead vocalists on the next album, Big Iron Horses, and Innis left a year before the band's last RCA album, Matters of the Heart. After the band broke up in 1994, Jennings joined Vince Gill's road band, and Dittrich briefly became a member of The Buffalo Club. All members except Innis reunited briefly in 1998 for three new tracks on a Greatest Hits package in 1998. The lineup of Dittrich, Gregg, Innis, Jennings, and Stewart officially reunited to record Still Restless, and this lineup has remained ever since.
"Restless Heart" is a song by US singer Peter Cetera. It was released as a single in 1992.
The song was written by Cetera along with Andy Hill and was a release from the album, World Falling Down. "Restless Heart" was Cetera's final of five number one hits on the Adult Contemporary chart. The single spent two weeks at number one and peaked at number 35 in the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
Restless Heart is the ninth studio album recorded by Whitesnake. This was their first new studio album since 1989's Slip of the Tongue. The CD remains unreleased in the US. This album was to be a David Coverdale solo album, but record company pressure forced it to be released under the "David Coverdale & Whitesnake" moniker.
The album charted at number 34 on the UK Albums Chart.
Coverdale would go on to release another version of "Too Many Tears" on his next studio album, Into the Light (2000).
All songs written by David Coverdale and Adrian Vandenberg except where noted.
Pro-Pain is a New York-based heavy metal/hardcore punk band formed in 1991 by vocalist and bassist Gary Meskil and drummer Dan Richardson, both former members of Crumbsuckers. Their debut album Foul Taste of Freedom was released in 1992, displaying hardcore punk and rap metal influences, after which the band was signed to Roadrunner Records, who reissued the album the following year. Their second album The Truth Hurts was initially banned due to the sleeve artwork, featuring a picture of a stitched-up woman after an autopsy.
The band has released several more albums with a varying line-up over the years. The self-produced album Act of God saw the band signed to Nuclear Blast Records after they had relocated to Sarasota. The same label released Round 6 in 2000 and the live album Road Rage in 2001. In 2004 they released their first album for Candlelight Records, Fistful of Hate. Tom Klimchuck left the band in 2011 due to "unexpected circumstances regarding some potentially serious health issues." He has since been replaced by Adam Phillips of Indorphine.

Pretty girls come from the ugliest places
You come from the worst of them all
Heartbreakers like you are hard to erase
You lift me up just so I fall
I followed you all the way down to the coast
And we kissed under travelling skies
I wish I had seen what was coming for me
But you wear such a lovely disguise
Heyyy you've got a restless heart
Beating out out out on your sleeve
And I won't let this fire start
You say love is all that you need
Well you're not gonna get it from me
Oh-oh oh-oh no you're not gonna get it from me
You say that you wanted a lover
Someone to cover your head when it rains
But even a hopeless romantic like me
Ya know that it's all just a game
Everyone's looking for love
For something to hold on to
Oh I've been looking for 25 years
And I know I won't find it in you
Heyyy you've got a restless heart
Beating out out out on your sleeve
And I won't let this fire start
You say love is all that you need
Well you're not gonna get it from me
Oh-oh oh-oh no you're not gonna get it from me
I won't let you break my heart
I won't let you break
I won't let you break my heart
Pretty girls come from the ugliest places
You come from the worst of them all
Heartbreakers like you are hard to erase
You lift me up just so I fall
Heyyy you've got a restless heart
Beating out out out on your sleeve
And I won't let this fire start
You say love is all that you need
Well you're not gonna get it from me (x2)
Oh-oh oh-oh no you're not gonna get it from me (x2)
I won't let you break I won't let you break my heart
