The Pulse had been previously known as 3YYR, broadcasting on 100.3MHz FM before becoming known as Geelong Community Radio on the same frequency. In 2001, frequency 100.3Mhz was issued to then new commercial station Nova 100 in Melbourne and the station was moved to its current frequency of 94.7MHz FM and changed names to 94.7 The Pulse. Its studios which are based in 68-70 Lt Ryrie St, Geelong at the Geelong Media Education Centre is also a training facility for other forms of media.
The Geelong Media Co-operative - the then operators of 3YYR - operated the radio station for some period of time in conjunction with Diversitat, the operational arm of the Geelong Ethnic Communities Council, representing the ethnic broadcasters. The full-time licence then held by the GCRC was surrendered to the Australian Communications and Media Authority. The licence then passed to Diversitat, who have since maintained the mix of ethnic and broader community programming. The station is now run by a board drawn from the volunteer operators and has a representative on the GECC executive.
Douglas Michael Gottlieb (born January 15, 1976, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin) is a former NCAA collegiate and professional (USBL) basketball player, as well as a basketball analyst. He now works for CBS Sports after a long tenure with ESPN.
Třešť (Czech pronunciation:[ˈtr̝̊ɛʃc]; German:Triesch) is a town in the Vysočina Region of the Czech Republic, which was founded around the turn of the 13th century. It has around 6,000 inhabitants.
Economist Joseph Schumpeter was born there in 1883. Franz Kafka visited his uncle in Triesch, who was the subject of Kafka's story "A Country Doctor". Some also believe that the Triesch castle was the inspiration behind Kafka's novel The Castle.
The "-E" transmission is electronically controlled and features an automatic overdrivetransaxle with an electronically controlled torque converter clutch.
In 1991 GM introduced the 4T60-E which was a 4T60 with electronic controls. By the mid-1990s, the 4T60-E was the transmission of choice in nearly every front-wheel drive GM vehicle with the exception of compacts. A heavy-duty 4T60-E HD was produced only in 1996 for the superchargedGM 3800 engine. The 4T60-E was phased out in favor of the 4T65 beginning in 1997.
The 4T60-E featured a 245mm torque converter with varying stall speed and gear ratios. Stall speed is the rpm(revolutions per minute) that the converter reaches maximum efficiency and is correlated with the engine and vehicle weight for the best combination of power and efficiency for the vehicle. (For example a '95 Beretta features a 1650rpm stall converter as opposed to '99 Century converter with a stall of 2095rpm.) Gear ratios are remarkable in the 4T60 family in that there are two points in which the transmission can have different gearing (the drive-chain sprockets and the differential) resulting in up to 12 different available gear ratios. The combined gearing of the two is the overall transaxle ratio and is called the "Final Drive Ratio", and the different ratios allow the use of the transmission in multiple applications based on the engine and vehicle.

Radio Interview - 94.7FM The Pulse with Leah Veenhuizen - Men's Health Week - June 2024
I recently caught up with fellow community radio presenter Leah Veenhuizen on her fabulous show "Just a thought" at 94.7 the Pulse.
Leah asked early on about my reasons for advocating so enthusiastically for men and boys ... I surprised myself with an unguarded response that I tend not to often reveal 💛 .
We went on to challenge some of the damaging myths and misunderstandings about men and masculinity - also their alarming absence from global health policy.
We packed a lot into 27 minutes and I am so grateful to Leah Veenhuizen for her talent and expertise in bringing this conversation to air.
