Wyatt Berry Stapp Earp (March 19, 1848 – January 13, 1929) was an American gambler; Pima County, Arizona, deputy sheriff; and deputy town marshal in Tombstone, Arizona, who took part in the Gunfight at the O.K. Corral, during which lawmen killed three outlawCowboys. He is often regarded as the central figure in the shootout in Tombstone, although his brother Virgil was Tombstone city marshal and Deputy U.S. Marshal that day, and had far more experience as a sheriff, constable, marshal, and soldier in combat.
Earp lived a restless life. He was at different times in his life a constable, city policeman, county sheriff, Deputy U.S. Marshal, teamster, buffalo hunter, bouncer, saloon-keeper, gambler, brothel owner, pimp, miner, and boxing referee. Earp spent his early life in Iowa. In 1870, Earp married his first wife, Urilla Sutherland Earp, who contracted typhoid fever and died shortly before delivering their first child. Within the next two years Earp was arrested, sued twice, escaped from jail, then was arrested three more times for "keeping and being found in a house of ill-fame". He landed in the cattle boomtown of Wichita, Kansas, where he became a deputy city marshal for one year and developed a solid reputation as a lawman. In 1876, he followed his brother James to Dodge City, Kansas, where he became an assistant city marshal. In winter 1878, he went to Texas to track down an outlaw and met John "Doc" Holliday, whom Earp later credited with saving his life.

The Life, also known as We Are ODST is a television and cinemaadvertisement launched in 2009 by Microsoft to promote the first person shooterHalo 3: ODST in the United States. The 150-second piece follows a young soldier through enlistment, training, and battle as an Orbital Drop Shock Trooper (ODST), analogous to a paratrooper that drops from space to a battlefield. The Life was created by advertising agency T.A.G., an offshoot of McCann Erickson. Production of the commercial itself was handled by production company Morton/Jankel/Zander (MJZ). It was directed by Rupert Sanders, and post-production was conducted by Asylum. It was filmed in Hungary, just outside Budapest in a coal mine and abandoned factories to give the sequence an "Eastern Bloc" aesthetic. The commercial and its associated campaign, proved hugely successful; on the week of its launch, Halo 3: ODST became the top-selling game for the Xbox 360 worldwide, and over 2.5 million copies were sold within the first few weeks of release. The Life went on to win a number of honours from the advertising and entertainment industries, including two Clio Awards, a London International Advertising Award and several honours from the Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival, the most prestigious awards ceremony in the advertising industry.
The show was first produced at the off-Broadway Westbeth Theatre, running from July 30, 1990 to August 16, 1990. Joe Layton directed and choreographed, with a cast that featured Chuck Cooper, Lillias White, and Mamie Duncan-Gibbs.
Wyatt Earp is one of the most famous figures of the American West, and he’s been depicted in movies many times over, most famously in the 1993 western Tombstone (and its imitators). While the cinematic portrayals obviously take dramatic license with the details of his life, Earp was truly a larger-than-life figure who did all kinds of things that sound like the creation of screenwriters.
From the time that he might have worked as a pimp to the truth about the showdown at the O.K. Corral, let’s take a look at why a lot of people think Wyatt Earp’s life was pretty rad.

The Truth About Wyatt Earp's Death
Wyatt Earp has been romanticized by western films that focus on his role in the famous gunfight at the O.K. Corral, but the real man had a more complicated reputation in his time. Earp actually lived long past the days of the Wild West and well into the Roaring Twenties, dying in 1929 at age 80. By that time, he had done a lot to hurt his legacy, including helping to rig a famous boxing match. However, the lawman still managed to live a full life, a privilege that many Wild West figures weren’t granted. Let’s take a look at the truth about Wyatt Earp’s death.

I can't stand to watch the six o'clock news It's enough to give an average, sensitive person the blues. Can't get it up I don't know about commercial appeal But what you put in your head Just can't help affect how you feel So lets keep it up Prophets of doom try to capture you They get around like the asian flu, But they can't get me Because I go for the up I'm on the up side I look for the up (that down just ain't my style) I go for the up I'm hooked on the up I'm on the upswing (I got my sights set high) I go for the up What's the point of standing out in the rain, What's the sense of looking down, It just gives your shoulders a pain Can't get it up It's a self-fulfilling prophecy If you look for the worst then that's just What it turns out to be So keep looking up The fickle finger just may point your way It touches someone different every day, But it can't touch me Because I go for the up And everybody's yelling at me to get back in line, And they say I'm crazy, But still they have their sessions of deep depressions, But it can't get me
