The Human Heart for Kids | Educational video to learn all about how the heart works
Do you know why the heart is so important? In The Human Heart for Kids video, you will learn that the heart, apart from pumping blood, also carries lots of other important things throughout the body. The heart is an organ made up mostly of muscle, and it plays a vital role in keeping you and your body healthy and strong.
The human heart is one the most important organs of the body that is essential for survival. It is part of the circulatory system, which is the body system that carries blood and other substances to and from the heart. The other main parts of the circulatory system are blood vessels, which include veins, arteries, and capillaries. And the heart beats automatically because it's controlled by the autonomic nervous system. In 24 hours, your heart averages about 115,000 beat...

Heart Attack Explained (Animation)
When the blood supply that oxygenates the heart muscle is significantly decreased or stopped entirely, a heart attack happens. This occurs as a result of plaque, which is a mass of cholesterol, fat, and other compounds, blocking the coronary arteries that provide blood to the heart muscle. This sluggish progression is referred to as atherosclerosis. A blood clot forms on plaque that ruptures in a cardiac artery. This blood clot may obstruct the artery that supplies the heart muscle with blood. #shorts #animation #anatomy #heart #heartattack

Heart Arrhythmias: Different Types and Symptoms
Heart arrhythmia is a condition where the heart beats irregularly, too fast, or too slow. A regular heart rhythm is the ideal pattern, where the heart beats in a steady and consistent manner. Bradycardia is a type of arrhythmia where the heart beats too slowly, while tachycardia is a type where the heart beats too quickly. Fibrillation is another type of arrhythmia where the heart beats irregularly and too fast, which can be very dangerous and increase the risk of a stroke or heart failure. #shorts #3d #animation #heart #health

The Human Heart
Hello Friends, welcome to a new Happy Learning Video. Today, we’re going to get to know the engine in our body, today we’re going to get to know the human heart.
The heart is the most special muscle which we have. It’s situated a little to the left from the center of our chest, between our lungs and is in an oblique position, positioned diagonally.
We say that it’s very special because it sends blood all over our body. Blood delivers oxygen and nutrients we need to live to all of our cells.
Our heart is a type of pump, like the ones we use to inflate the wheels on our bikes, the only thing is, that instead of pumping air, it pumps blood.
The heart is divided into two parts. The right part and the left part, separated by a cellular wall, so they are not connected internally.
Each one of these parts has two chambers or cavities. The upper cavities are called right and left atrium. And the lower cavities are called right and left ventricle. The heart also has four kind of doors which are called valves. These valves open to let blood in and then they close so this blood can’t go back.
Now we’ve got to know the most important parts of the heart. But… Do you know how it works?
It all commences, in the right atrium, where the deoxygenated blood, meaning it has very little oxygen and nutrients, it enters the heart, then it goes past the first valve up to the right ventricle. Once it is here, the heart sends the blood directly to the lungs. And it’s in this moment, where the blood is oxygenated and is filled with oxygen and nutrients. When it is already oxygenated, it goes back to the heart reaching the left atrium, from where it will pass through the third valve until the last cavity, the left ventricle. Finally, the heart sends this now oxygenated blood through the fourth and last valve towards the rest of the body… and it starts again!!!
To understand how our heart beats, we only need to imagine that our hand is a heart and that when it opens up it fills up with blood, and when it’s closed it pumps that blood outwards.
When blood exits our heart, it flows through our whole body through blood vessels and there are three types: arteries, veins and capillary vessels.
Arteries deliver oxygen and nutrient rich blood to all organs in our body, veins take that blood, low in oxygen, back to the heart and the capillary vessels, which are very small, connect arteries with veins and cells.
Fun Fact! Do you know approximately how much a human heart weighs? Well it’s 450 grams, almost half a kilo.
The truth is that the heart is the engine in our circulatory system and is an incredibly strong muscle, it’s able to beat more than 100 thousand times a day. So cool!!!
We can’t say goodbye without giving you a tip! WE need to take care of our hear and that’s why we need to do physical exercise, we need to eat healthy foods, and please, never ever smoke, it’s the worst thing you can do to hurt your heart.
Goodbye Happy Friends! See you in the next Happy Learning Video!

In 24 hours, your heart averages about 115,000 beats per day!
So how does the heart work exactly? Well, the heart consists of left and right ventricles at the bottom and left and right atriums at the top. Blood pushes through the atriums into the ventricles on each side of the heart through little "gates" every time the heart beats. These gates basically help ensure the blood flows in the right direction. The blood travels through the different vessels throughout the rest of the body. You can think of blood vessels as little train tracks that carry blood to different parts of the body. The trip for a single drop of blood throughout the body takes only about a minute.
Blood carries oxygen, food, minerals, and vitamins as well, and all these things help your body move, grow, and make repairs. In fact, they even help you think! The stuff in your blood that the body doesn't need gets set out as waste through the lungs, kidneys, and liver. To keep your heart healthy, there are a few things you can do. Exercising will help strengthen the muscles of your heart. Eating fruits and vegetables also helps keep your arteries clear. Drinking plenty of water is also essential because water makes up about 83% of the heart. If you don't have enough water, your heart can become less and less healthy. Finally, remember to move around. Moving around helps both your body and your mind.

The Heart, Part 1 - Under Pressure: Crash Course Anatomy & Physiology #25
Your heart gets a lot of attention from poets, songwriters, and storytellers, but today Hank's gonna tell you how it really works. The heart’s ventricles, atria, and valves create a pump that maintains both high and low pressure to circulate blood from the heart to the body through your arteries and bring it back to the heart through your veins. You'll also learn what your blood pressure measurements mean when we talk about systolic and diastolic blood pressure.

The Circulatory System Part 1: The Heart
The heart! What a symbol of love and affection. But does emotional processing really take place in the heart? Sorry romantics, but no. That's the brain's business. But the heart is still miraculous. It is a completely natural pump whose responsibility it is to circulate blood all over the body to give all the cells the oxygen they need to perform cellular respiration, as well as transporting nutrients and hormones. Let's see how the heart works now!

The Heart, Part 2 - Heart Throbs: Crash Course Anatomy & Physiology #26
Today we're talking about the heart and heartthrobs -- both literal and those of the televised variety. Hank explains how your heart’s pacemaker cells use leaky membranes to generate their own action potentials, and how the resulting electricity travels through the cardiac conduction pathway from SA Node to Purkinje fibers, allowing your heart to contract. He's also going to make you better able to spot inaccuracies in medical dramas by explaining how defibrillators work to reset the rhythm of your heart.

Lyrics:
I’m your heart
I live inside of your chest.
I’m about the size of your fist
And I never take a rest
I’m your heart
You couldn’t live without me
I pump the blood that fuels your body
So take care of me, please
The human heart is made up of four major chambers in me
The Right Atrium and Right Ventricle are the first two you see
They receive blood that’s low in oxygen from your whole body
and sends it to your lungs through the Pulmonary Artery
The lungs fill the blood with oxygen that your Left atrium receives
Then flows through the Left Ventricle to the Aortic artery’s
I’m your heart
I live inside of your chest
I’m about the size of your fist
And I never take a rest
I’m your heart
You couldn’t live without me
I pump the blood that fuels your body
So take care of me, please
I can beat more than 100,000 times in one day
pumping about 2000 gallons of blood through your body
There are about 60,000 miles of vessels
in your circulatory system, I always keep them full
I have four valves that open and close that control the blood through me
The Tricuspid, Pulmonic, Mitral and Aortic valves you see
I’m your heart
I live inside of your chest
I’m about the size of your fist
And I never take a rest
I’m your heart
You couldn’t live without me
I pump the blood that fuels your body
So take care of me, please

Today we're talking about the heart and heartthrobs -- both literal and those of the televised variety. Hank explains how your heart’s pacemaker cells use leaky membranes to generate their own action potentials, and how the resulting electricity travels through the cardiac conduction pathway from SA Node to Purkinje fibers, allowing your heart to contract. He's also going to make you better able to spot inaccuracies in medical dramas by explaining how defibrillators work to reset the rhythm of your heart.
