The Japoniclanguage family includes the Japanese language spoken on the main islands of Japan as well as the Ryukyuan languages spoken in the Ryukyu Islands. The family is widely accepted by linguists, and the term "Japonic languages" was coined by Leon Serafim. The common ancestral language is known as Proto-Japonic. The essential feature of this classification is that the first split in the family resulted in the separation of all dialects of Japanese from all varieties of Ryukyuan. According to Shiro Hattori, this separation occurred during the Yamato period (250–710).
Scholarly discussions about the origin of Japonic languages present an unresolved set of related issues. The clearest connections seem to be with toponyms in southern Korea, which may be in Gaya (Kara) or other scarcely attested languages.
Truth! is the seventh album led by saxophonist Houston Person which was recorded in 1970 and released on the Prestige label.
Reception
Allmusic awarded the album 4 stars stating "much of the music that Person recorded for Prestige was exciting and quite rewarding. Those who like their jazz with a heavy dose of R&B will find a lot to admire on this CD".
Truth Unveiled by Time is a marble sculpture by Italian artist Gian Lorenzo Bernini. Executed between 1646 and 1652, Bernini intended to show Truthallegorically as a naked young woman being unveiled by a figure of Time above her, but the figure of Time was never executed. Bernini still expressed a wish to add the figure as late as 1665.
Bernini's rationale for creating the work was, according to his son Domenico, as a sculptural retort to attacks from opponents criticising his failed project to build two towers onto the front of St. Peter's Basilica. Cracks had appeared in the facade due to the inability of the foundations to support the towers and Bernini's architectural expansion received the blame, although historians are unsure as to the validity of this legend.
Bernini began the preparatory work for Truth Unveiled by Time in 1645, during the critical period after the death of his main patron pope Urban VIII, and the figure of Truth was largely complete by 1652. Despite never completing the figure of Time, Bernini left the sculpture in his will in perpetuity to the first-born of the Bernini family; although in fact Bernini tried to sell the work to Cardinal Mazarin of France. It remained in the family (displayed on a tilted stucco block during the 19th century) until 1924, when it was purchased by the Italian government and transferred to its current home on a plinth in room VIII of the Galleria Borghese. Its plinth there was originally tilted but it is now on a flat plinth after a recent restoration, leaving Truth more upright as it was originally displayed.
Tristan Roake and Andre Fernandez, better known as Truth are a production duo from Christchurch, New Zealand. They first rose in late 2007 when Mala of Digital Mystikz signed their debut single The Fatman / Stolen Children for his Deep Medi Musik label. The single was described by Boomkat as "dark and immaculately executed" and was released in early 2009 as Medi13x on 12" vinyl format.
This release has been followed by two more releases on Deep Medi Musik and a number of singles on labels such as Tempa, SMOG, Black Box, Get Darker, Artikal, Argon, Wheel and Deal, Disfigured Dubz, Aquatic Lab, Boka, Optimus Gryme, Moonshine and Abyss Recordings. Collaborators have included Datsik, Alix Perez, Antiserum, Yayne, Kito, DJ Madd, Riskotheque, Babylon System, Noah D, Lynx, Kromestar, Silkie and Dutty Ranks.
Originally from New Zealand, now based in San Francisco, California Truth have toured extensively including numerous USA tours, four tours of the UK and Europe and a tour of Latin America. They can be found regularly playing in the United States, New Zealand, Australia and Europe.
Brutal Assault is an extreme metalopen-airmusic festival that takes place in an 18th-century army fortress (Josefov Fortress) in Jaroměř, Czech Republic. It takes place each August, traditionally on a Thursday, Friday and Saturday, at the beginning of the month. The festival was started in 1996, originally featuring mostly grindcore music. For many years, it was a small show with mainly local Czech and Slovak bands performing. It changed location several times and grew into a major event in 2006, when over 7,000 people came to that year's event in Svojšice. After moving to Josefov, the attendances grew further to 15,000 in 2012. Brutal Assault currently operates a two-stage system. The festival motto is: "Against violence and intolerance".
Location
Brutal Assault takes place in Josefov, an imperial army fortress built from 1780 to 1787 by Emperor Joseph II on the left bank of the Elbe and Mettau rivers near Jaroměř. The two concert stages are built against the outer walls of this huge fortress.

Just How Austronesian is Japan?
Just how Austronesian is the country of Japan? Japan is certainly a fascinating nation with a glorious and dark past just as all major nations, having transformed from a rural peasant kingdom to one of the greatest industrialized counties of all time, but they actually have quite an interesting history of migration to their islands.
In today's video we'll be discussing some of the history of ancient migrations and how this has impacted the genetics and culture of the modern Japanese or Yamato people throughout the islands. Thanks to Evan Pangaribuan for suggesting the video topic (a lot).

Most scholars believe that Japonic was brought to the Japanese archipelago from the Korean peninsula with the Yayoi culture during the 1st millennium BC. There is some fragmentary evidence suggesting that Japonic languages were still spoken in central and southern parts of the Korean peninsula (see Peninsular Japonic) in the early centuries AD.
Possible genetic relationships with many other language families have been proposed, most systematically with Koreanic, but none have been conclusively demonstrated.

Old Japanese is the oldest attested stage of the Japanese language, recorded in documents from the Nara period (8th century). It became Early Middle Japanese in the succeeding Heian period, but the precise delimitation of the stages is controversial. Old Japanese was an early member of the Japonic language family. No genetic links to other language families have been proven.
Modern Japanese is considered to begin with the Edo period (which spanned from 1603 to 1867). Since Old Japanese, the de facto standard Japanese had been the Kansai dialect, especially that of Kyoto. However, during the Edo period, Edo (now Tokyo) developed into the largest city in Japan, and the Edo-area dialect became standard Japanese.

Apollo and Daphne is a very graphic sculpture that was created in 1622-1625 by an Italian artist by the name of Gian Lorenzo Bernini. The life sized sculpture of Apollo and Daphne is a hand carved statue. The statue presents both a partially nude woman who tries to flee her pursuer. With arms outstretched above and before her. Truth Unveiled by Time is a marble sculpture by Italian artist Gian Lorenzo Bernini. Executed between 1645 and 1652, Bernini intended to show Truth allegorically as a naked young woman being unveiled by a figure of Time above her, but the figure of Time was never executed. Bernini still expressed a wish to add the figure as late as 1665.Bernini's rationale for creating the work was, according to his son Domenico, as a sculptural retort to attacks from opponents criticising his failed project to build two towers onto the front of St. Peter's Basilica. Cracks had appeared in the facade due to the inability of the foundations to support the towers and Bernini's architectural expansion received the blame, although historians are unsure as to the validity of this legend.Bernini began the preparatory work for Truth Unveiled by Time in 1645, during the critical period after the death of his main patron pope Urban VIII, and the figure of Truth was largely complete by 1652. Despite never completing the figure of Time, Bernini left the sculpture in his will in perpetuity to the first-born of the Bernini family; although in fact Bernini tried to sell the work to Cardinal Mazarin of France. It remained in the family (displayed on a tilted stucco block during the 19th century) until 1924, when it was purchased by the Italian government and transferred to its current home on a plinth in room VI of the Galleria Borghese. Its plinth there was originally tilted but it is now on a flat plinth after a recent restoration, leaving Truth more upright as it was originally displayed.

Apollo and Daphne
Apollo and Daphne is a very graphic sculpture that was created in 1622-1625 by an Italian artist by the name of Gian Lorenzo Bernini. The life sized sculpture of Apollo and Daphne is a hand carved statue. The statue presents both a partially nude woman who tries to flee her pursuer. With arms outstretched above and before her. Her uplifted and tilted face is slightly obscure as she slowly transforms into a tree before Apollo’s eyes. Just behind her is Apollo who has been struck by Cupid’s love arrow. Struck by Daphne’s beauty he runs after her trying without success to gain her favor.
Blessed Ludovica Albertoni is a funerary monument by the Italian Baroque artist Gian Lorenzo Bernini. The Trastevere sculpture is located in the specially designed Altieri Chapel in the Church of San Francesco a Ripa in Rome, Italy. Bernini started the project in 1671, but his work on two other major works. The Tomb of Pope Alexander VII and the Altar of the Blessed Sacrament in St. Peter's Basilica delayed his work on the funerary monument. Bernini completed the sculpture in 1674; it was installed by 31 August 1674.

Japonic or Japanese–Ryukyuan, sometimes also Japanic, is a language family comprising Japanese, spoken in the main islands of Japan, and the Ryukyuan languages, spoken in the Ryukyu Islands. The family is universally accepted by linguists, and significant progress has been made in reconstructing the proto-language. The reconstruction implies a split between all dialects of Japanese and all Ryukyuan varieties, probably before the 7th century. The Hachijō language, spoken on the Izu Islands, is also included, but its position within the family is unclear.

The Japonic languages are a language family that comprises Japanese and the Ryukyuan languages. Languages in this family are characterized by particles, liquid consonants, and a subject-object-verb sentence structure, among other features. This video presents the history and evolution of the Japonic languages from 1800 BCE to the present.
DISCLAIMER: all dates are approximations, and the Peninsular Japonic hypothesis, though relatively credible, is still in contention.

A crime so gruesome and terrible as cutting a child this innocent life out of young woman's womb. He shot 10 girls, most of them in the head execution style. China died of multiple stab wounds, her stepson was also stabbed and he died of blunt force trauma. Along with a 2x4 that appeared to have blood on one end. Charges of sexual abuse against at least 16 priests. Protesters carrying signs with anti-gay slogans and words like thank God for dead soldiers. The individual then apparently shot and killed himself.
