The Kingsway Entertainment District (KED) in Sudbury explained
The topic the Kingsway Entertainment District (or KED) has dominated every political discussion over the past year. Voters want to know where the candidates stand on the issue and whether they support the KED or not. The 2018 Municipal Election in Sudbury has practically become a referendum on the massive project and has caused great controversy in our city. Because the aspects of the project unfolded over the course of about two years, various decisions and directions may have become lost in the shuffle.

The Meteorite That Buried Michigan | The Sudbury Impact
1.8 billion years ago, a space rock the size of a small city collided with what's now Sudbury, Ontario. The impact created one of the largest craters on Earth - and also buried parts of Michigan in debris. Here's the story.
As part of this video, I traveled to the best Sudbury debris site in Michigan and met up with Dr. Bill Cannon, a Scientist Emeritus with the USGS who not only helped me understand the story, but also gave me a pretty incredible tour. I'm excited for y'all to learn from him.

Film Transcription:
Sudbury is a suburban residential district in the London Borough of Brent in north west London. A tranquil backwater just beside Wembley in travel zone 4.
Little is known about its early existence, but Sudbury was a much larger area than the version we have today.
Sudbury was recorded in 1282 as the name 'Suthbery' to mean “south manor”. This manor referred to Sudbury Court where the Archbishops of Canterbury chose to take up their residence in Middlesex in the 1300's.
The road into London led prosperous people to construct large houses here with several existing by 1819. Once Sudbury Station opened in 1842 with its horse-drawn bus services, development was further encouraged. That station is now Wembley Central.
Shortly afterwards, we saw agriculture began to recede, a brewery, local beer houses, a post office and a shopping mall introduced. The Hundred Elms Farm was converted into a dairy which still exists today as a subsidiary of Dairy Crest. Several aspects of this district are named after the founder of the dairy, George Barham who arrived as a resident in 1895 to a population of 925 people.
The potentially penultimate 2011 census has Brent as the most multicultural London borough. Sudbury is particularly popular with families of Indian descent. More than half the 15,000+ demographic consists of South Asian residents; predominantly Indian but also Pakistani, Nepalese and Sri Lankan.

Sudbury is the largest town of Babergh district council, the local government district, and is represented in the UK Parliament as part of the South Suffolk constituency.

Its textile industries prospered during the Late Middle Ages; the wealth of which funded many of its buildings and churches. The town became notable for its art in the 18th century, being the birthplace of Thomas Gainsborough, whose landscapes offered inspiration to John Constable, another Suffolk painter of the surrounding Stour Valley area. The 19th century saw the arrival of the railway with the opening of a station on the historic Stour Valley Railway, and Sudbury railway station forms the current terminus of the Gainsborough Line. During World War II, US Army Airforce bombers operated from RAF Sudbury.
Today, Sudbury retains its status as a market town with a twice-weekly market in the town centre in front of the redundant St Peter's Church, which is now a local community point for events such as concerts and exhibitions. In sport, the town has a semi-professional football club, A.F.C. Sudbury, which competes at the seventh level of the football pyramid.
Once a busy and important river port the last industrial building on the riverside in Sudbury has been converted into the town's only theatre, the Quay Theatre. The River Stour Trust, formed in 1968, has its headquarters in Sudbury, and a purpose built visitor centre located at Cornard Lock. The trust operates electric-powered boats from the Granary in Quay Lane, to Great Henny, a few miles downstream. Each September, the 24 mi (39 km) stretch of the River Stour hosts hundreds of canoe and small boat enthusiasts in a weekend event called Sudbury to the Sea, which finishes at Cattawade.
By road, Sudbury is served by the A131 which runs from near Little Waltham, north of Chelmsford in Essex, and the A134 which runs from Colchester in Essex, The railway arrived in Sudbury in 1847 when Sudbury railway station was built on the Stour Valley Railway. The town escaped the Beeching Axe of the 1960s and maintained its rail link with London.

Lyrics
Hold all in your holdall,
bring your foal.
Cold shawl, near swallow
skin and soul.
All preying on your old scrawl
of your front crawl, on your bone.
Oh, painted on your own wall
in an oval, ring your goal.
All your love overgrown,
all your body undersold,
all above, all your waiting coming home.
Hollow all your arrows,
all aglow.
Follow, you’re Apollo,
us below,
all praying in your
shallows, I’ll hallow,
overflow,
oh, scaling all your shadows
to your marrow,
to atone.

Hold all in your holdall,
bring your foal.
Cold shawl, near swallow
skin and soul.
All preying on your old scrawl
of your front crawl, on your bone.
Oh, painted on your own wall
in an oval, ring your goal.
All your love overgrown,
all your body undersold,
all above, all your waiting coming home.
Hollow all your arrows,
all aglow.

From fall to serious signs of winter in no time. In Bracebridge, Ont., about 24 inches of snow fell in just a day and a half according to the town’s mayor.
North of Toronto, the snow was so intense provincial police shut down Hwy 11 between Washago and Bracebridge.
The highway closure left big rigs parked waiting indefinitely while other drivers were forced to turn around and back in the other direction.
