David Darnell Brown (born March 15, 1981), also known as Young Buck, is an American rapper, actor, entrepreneur, and producer. Buck is a former member of the hip hop group UTP Playas. As a music executive, he is president of his own record label, Ca$hville Records, and is currently a member of the hip hop group G-Unit. After being dismissed from the group back in 2008, Buck reunited with his former group members on June 1, 2014 at Hot 97's Summer Jam event.
Around the age of twelve, Brown began rapping because he was inspired by a Miami friend named Clay Cole. Jealous of his friend's talent, he wanted to beat him no matter what he had to give up. At the same time Clay Cole moved to Tallahassee in Florida, Brown began recording in a real studio. Shortly thereafter, he was given an opportunity to perform for Brian "Baby" Williams, co-founder of Cash Money Records. After several years on and off of Cash Money Records, Brown and fellow rapper Juvenile decided to leave the label for good in 2000 and go to UTP Records, where Brown stayed until 2003. One of his early appearances was on the song "Memphis," where he was featured along with Three 6 Mafia, Project Pat, and other southern rappers. His deal with UTP later led to a meeting with New York rapper 50 Cent, who later signed him to G-Unit Records, under Interscope Records.
Maurice Samuel Young (born September 23, 1974), better known by his stage name Trick Daddy, is an American rapper, actor, and producer from Miami's Liberty City.
Trick appeared on the track "Scarred" by former 2 Live Crew member Luther "Luke" Campbell, Produced by Darren "DJ Spin" Rudnick, from Luke's 1996 album Uncle Luke. The song became a hit and immediately caught the attention of fans and record producers alike. Ted Lucas, a former concert promoter and then-CEO of Slip-n-Slide Records, signed the rapper to the newly formed record label. Slip-n-Slide released Trick Daddy Dollars' debut album Based on a True Story in 1997; the album was popular in the Miami area.
In 1998, when his next album www.thug.com was released, Trick removed "Dollars" from his stage name. Club-oriented track "Nann Nigga", featuring Trina, became a national hit, peaking at the third spot of the Billboard Hot Rap Singles chart.Atlantic Records signed Trick Daddy to the label in 2000 and released Book of Thugs: Chapter AK Verse 47 that year. "Shut Up", which Jason Birchmeier of allmusic considered Trick's "rowdiest club hit yet", was the lead single from Book of Thugs. His next single, "America" (featuring Society), was a poignant political track that writer Omar Burgess compared to other sociological tracks in Trick's catalog such as "Ain't No Santa".

Various unique terminology is used in bartending.
In bartending, the term "straight up" (or "up") refers to an alcoholic drink that is shaken or stirred with ice and then strained and served without ice in a stemmed glass.
This is contrasted with a drink served "neat" – a single, unmixed liquor served without being chilled and without any water, ice, or other mixer. Neat drinks are typically served in a rocks glass, shot glass, snifter, Glencairn glass or copita.
"On the rocks" refers to liquor poured over ice cubes, and a "rocks drink" is a drink served on the rocks. Rocks drinks are typically served in a rocks glass, highball glass, or Collins glass, all of which refer to a relatively straight-walled, flat-bottomed glass; the rocks glass is typically the shortest and widest, followed by the highball which is taller and often narrower, then the Collins which is taller and narrower still.
The terms "straight" and "straight up" can be ambiguous, as they are sometimes used to mean "neat"; "up" is less ambiguous.
Straight Up: America's Fiercest Climate Blogger Takes on the Status Quo Media, Politicians, and Clean Energy Solutions is a book by author, blogger, physicist and climate expert Joseph J. Romm. A Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science and former Acting Assistant Secretary of the U.S. Department of Energy, Romm writes about methods of reducing global warming and increasing energy security through energy efficiency, green energy technologies and green transportation technologies.
Romm writes and edits the climate blog ClimateProgress.org for the Center for American Progress, where he is a Senior Fellow. Time magazine named this blog one of the "Top 15 Green Websites" and called Romm "The Web's most influential climate-change blogger", naming him as one of its "Heroes of the Environment (2009)".
Straight Up was released on April 19, 2010 by Island Press. It is "largely a selection of [Romm]'s best blog postings over the past few years related to climate change issues".TreeHugger describes the book as "a whirlwind tour through the state of climate change, the media that so badly neglects it, the politicians who attempt to address it (and those who obstruct their efforts and ignore [the] science), and the clean energy solutions that could help get us out of the mess."

The controversy arose when it was revealed that The Game missed the number one slot to rock band Slipknot by just 13 albums. The Game joked that he pretty much was at number one given that small margin of difference. The album's first single was "Game's Pain" featuring Keyshia Cole and the second was "Doughboys" with Travis Barker; the latter's video was deemed too raucous for MTV. There was further upheaval when rapper Young Buck featured in a music video,...

Last year was a great year, ask the click
But this year was scarred to our last half of brick
Trying to survive in the drought where it ain't no blow
It ain't no [Incomprehensible] so with ain't no dough
Yo 95 south sun roof moonlight
Po-pos tight down before the turnpike
The last lick went sour Fed's jammed the blow
But like a weather man it's a light chance of snow
Lay low at the bottom at the tell
Wait patient for my Haitian to hit me on the cell
'Cause my Haitian cartel they always work
They even had shit when the Cubans were hurt
My nigga hit back he ain't got no coke
He said the coast guard just knocked off the boat
He said them Fed's in Texas they out of control
Knocking off major bricks with the border patrol
A nigga couldn't rap long 'cause the phones they be wired up
I be goddamned the whole East coast dried up
A nigga went from raw dope to cheap base
Ridin' 'round with the block Fed in the brief case
Surviving in the drought where it ain't no blow
It ain't no piece, yo it ain't no dough
It ain't no bricks, no chips, no food
So tell me what the fuck am I suppose to do?
Surviving in the drought where it ain't no blow
It ain't no piece, yo it ain't no dough
It ain't no bricks, no chips, no food
So tell me what the fuck am I suppose to do?
In the drought I look the dope fiend right in the grill
Slang him a Asprin or a vitamin pill
In the drought niggaz panic when that money stop
Start slinging wamis and them dummy blocks
Hit the projects twurking in that 87 fleet drop
Set up shop with a 9 pack of sheet rock
Watcha a nigga get hot, now he wanna hit pop
He wanna brain wrestle he don't know I got my shit cocked
'Cause in the drought you get stuck like a thumb tack
Dixie man got a 20 pack worth of come back
A player fucked up till that drought go down
A nigga got to spread his hustle when the drought come 'round
I'm stuck a player fucked up now I'm finna come back up
It's back on with then pack playboy the blow flooded
The base heads happy and my workers show love it
My dog hit the lick about two hundred birds
Off a Bahamian cruise ship that nigga got nerves
Now Cubans is beeping and the Haitians is calling
I'm back to slanging whole chickens popping cases and balling
I got to put the team on so I'm looking them up
RJ he the chef, he be cooking them up, hookin' them up
While I'm whipping 'em, flipping breaking 'em down
With the straight razor chipping 'em
We got 'em harder than hard plus we pitching soft ball
Jumping for that how high this year gone cost y'all
Since we the only niggaz wit it
It's the lick of a life time
Coming up in the drought through the paroofeal pipe line
This time I'm gone sit on me 'bout ten
'Cause you never know when that drought coming again
Surviving in the drought, surviving in the drought
Surviving in the drought where it ain't no blow
It ain't no piece, yo it ain't no dough
It ain't no bricks, no chips, no food
So tell me what the fuck am I suppose to do?
Surviving in the drought where it ain't no blow
It ain't no piece, yo it ain't no dough
It ain't no bricks, no chips, no food
