Starry Lee reelected chairperson of House Committee of HKSAR LegCo
Starry Lee Wai-king was reelected as chairperson of the House Committee of the Legislative Council (LegCo) of China's Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) on Monday.
Lee will continue to lead the House Committee after gaining 40 votes in a ballot at an election meeting, ending the prolonged filibusters of opposition lawmakers led by Dennis Kwok Wing-hang to obstruct the election in 17 meetings since October last year.
