ZOOMING in On the Moon's HUGE Craters in Daylight! #shorts
I used my Nikon COOLPIX P1000 to zoom in on the moon's craters: Copernicus, Ptolemaeus, Alphonsus, Alpetragius, and Arzachel. The lunar craters were all many miles wide and I captured them in daylight.

"WHY Nobody Talking About THIS.." NASA Admits Something BIG
Have you ever wondered why no other astronauts have walked on the moon in over half a century? It's been over 50 years since Neil Armstrong's historic steps on the lunar surface, and yet, we haven't returned. Why did the lunar program come to an end? Why did NASA never go back to the moon? Despite all the technological advancements and progress we've made, we haven't set foot on our closest celestial neighbor in decades. In this video, we'll explore the mysteries and unveil the reasons why NASA never returned to the moon after the Apollo program. Get ready for an eye-opening journey into the unknown.
In 1969, Neil Armstrong famously declared "one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind" as he became the first person to step on the moon. Since then, we've sent 11 other people to the ...

Since then, we've sent 11 other people to the moon in the Apollo program, but no human has set foot on the lunar surface in over 50 years. Despite the success of the Apollo missions, they were essentially brief visits, and we have yet to establish a permanent human presence on the moon. However, there are many compelling reasons to return to the moon and stay there for a longer duration. NASA has promised that we will see US astronauts on the moon again soonish — maybe by 2025 at the earliest, in a program called Artemis, which will include the first women to ever touch the lunar surface.
But who could have imagined that after the awe-inspiring moon landing, humans would not set foot on the lunar surface again for decades? With the rapid advancements in science and technology, it seemed like a given that we would return to the moon in no time. But why did that never happen? As the world changed in the ensuing years, so did the space industry. The space race between the US and Russia was one of the most talked-about rivalries in human history, with each side trying to outdo the other in technology and military might. It was a thrilling time to be alive and a space enthusiast as the two superpowers battled it out in the dramatic arena of space. But as tensions between the US and Soviet Union continued to escalate, events such as the construction of the Berlin Wall and the Cuban Missile Crisis only heightened the stakes of the space race.

During nights when the Moon is prominent in the sky, most visual observers take the opportunity to get a good night’s sleep. Not so for avid lunar observers and imagers. These hardy souls not only observe when the skies are clear of lunar glare, they welcome the nights when the Moon shines in all of its glory! David Haviland, our February speaker is one of them and he has agreed to share his love of lunar observing and some of his learnings about high resolution lunar imaging with HAS!
David got started in astronomy in 1998, and has always been interested in space flight and the Moon. He and his wife Connie are well known members of the local amateur astronomy community, where both are very active in astronomy outreach activities, and service to our community. If you have been to Astronomy Day at the George Observatory, you have probably met David and Connie, as they have organized and managed this event since 2009.
David’s interest in the Moon has lead him to both observing and imaging it. While David is the first to admit his lunar imaging is still a work in progress, his persistence has paid off as he has captured many high detail images of lunar features including the Apollo landing sites so that he can share his observations with others. This has allowed David to combine all three of his interests, lunar observing, space flight and outreach.
Speaker Bio: David’s motto is “cells by day, stars by night” as his day job is in biomedical research. He obtained his Ph.D. in biology from University of California at Riverside, and since 2010 has been working at Houston Methodist Research Institute running a Flow Cytometry core facility, helping numerous investigators with their research spanning disciplines in stem cell, cancer, biomarker, and immunological studies. Published 27 papers, 3 book chapters, ad hoc reviewer for a number of scientific journals. David also helps coordinate a technology based conference at the Texas Medical Center on Flow Cytometry and has participated and is recognized in International Societies and workshops.

It seems that the solar system has been studied inside and out. Our spaceships have visited all of its planets and even managed to take their pictures. But today, we will show you our solar system in a completely new light.
You'll discover secrets that haven't been revealed yet, hear eerie sounds coming from the solar system, see strange objects that frighten and amaze scientists, and even look inside the solar system's bodies!
But let's start from the very beginning - the birth of the sun and the planets orbiting it!
