The Creepiest Native American Folklore
Native American culture has a rich folklore tradition. Many of their stories are focused on animals and nature. Thus, their most frightening stories have a strong element of the natural world weaved throughout them. The various Native American tribes each have their own unique tales, with some sharing similar stories (i.e. the Wendigo can be found in the Algonquian, Ojibwe, Eastern Cree, Saulteaux, Westmain Swampy Cree, Naskapi, and Innu peoples’ tradition.)

There are hundreds of unknown and horrifying monsters in the shadows on the USA. From werewolves to dogmen, to little people that want to steal your tools the country is packed full of legends and lore. Some of which may be more than just a legend.
Today I’m making a very unique video from what I usually do. I am simply naming all these incredible bipedal, quadrupedal and aquatic creatures that are legend to hide in our world. I’m doing this so that it may not only as a bit of caution to your travels as you head out on your everyday adventures but hopefully also add some mystery to the world that many claim to have all figured out.
You’ll hear a tiny bit about each of this creatures but I prefer to talk in depth about the cryptic sand legends I read. If there’s anything in this list I did or didn’t mention please let me know! I love folklore, I love history about lost treasure and history in general.
I hope you enjoy todays video on the 50 creatures in the 50 United States. I have more videos that talk in depth about Cherokee folklore, but I am branching out. Feel free to let me know any suggestions with future videos or ideas you’d like to see in the future.
Don’t forget to subscribe and like the video to help the channel grow. I try to upload once a week but until I can start doing this full time I’m just doing as much as I can with the time that I have.
