Quicksort vs Mergesort in 35 Seconds
Sort 200 different colors in under 30 seconds #shorts
Quick sort and Merge sort are used. We see that quicksort takes fewer operations here, but some of that could be how I counted the operations. Quicksort is known for being the fastest though.
Quicksort work by selecting a pivot value and putting everything less than (or equal to) that pivot to the left of it in the array, and everything greater than the pivot to the right of it.
Merge sort works by recursively splitting the list until it has two lists with only one element in them, and then merging them together in the correct order.
Both of these are n log n time. My quicksort implementation doesn't use extra storage, my merge sort implementation does make slices of the list when it is splitting.

Gummy Bear Panna Cotta:
You'll Need:
- 10 red gummy bears + 6-8 tbsp lemon juice
- 10 green gummy bears + 6-8 tbsp lemon juice
- 25 white gummy bears + ⅔ cup heavy cream
- 10 orange gummy bears + 6-8 tbsp lemon juice
- sugar or salt for the glasses
- whipped cream & gummy bears for decoration
Here's How:
1. Mix the red gummy bears with 6-8 tablespoons of lemon juice, melt everything in the microwave, mix the mixture, and allow it to cool down a little. Using a sugar or salt "foundation," put a glass in a slanted position and fill it with the red liquid gummy bears. Allow the mass to set for about 1 hour.
2. Mix the green gummy bears with lemon juice, melt everything in the microwave, mix the mixture, and allow it to cool. Rotate the glass with the set red gummy bear mixture and fill it with the green gummy bear liquid. Allow this layer to set for 1 hour. Make sure that the gummy bear mixture isn't too hot when you add it to the other layers to prevent the set layer from turning liquid again.
3. Mix the white gummy bears with the heavy cream, melt the mixture in the microwave, and stir it until combined. Now put the glass with the set gummy bear layers into an upright position and start pouring in the white mixture. Wait 1 hour until it is completely set.
4. Now mix the orange gummy bears with the lemon juice, melt everything in the microwave, stir well, allow to cool, and pour it over the now solid white gummy bear mixture. Wait 1 hour for the mass to set completely – it's even better if you refrigerate the gummy bear panna cotta for another hour before serving. Garnish with whipped cream and a few gummy bears.
Doesn't this colorful gummy bear panna cotta look beautiful? And if you're not a fan of sweet and sour things, you can just substitute the lemon juice with water or lemon-lime soda.

Gummy Bear Tart
You'll Need:
- 10 red gummy bears + 6 tbsp lemon juice
- 10 green gummy bears + 6 tbsp lemon juice
- 10 yellow gummy bears + 6 tbsp lemon juice
- whipped cream for the topping
- gummy bears for decoration
- small tart pan
Here's How:
To transform gummy bears into a delicious tart, you can go either of two ways: You can make the gummy bear mixtures one by one and layer them as with the panna cotta, or you can put all the gummy bears into a slightly moist small tart pan, add the lemon juice, and melt everything in the microwave. Stir the multicolored gummy bear liquid carefully and allow it to set. Hold the small tart pan under lukewarm water – this will make it easier to remove the tart from the pan. Top the gummy bear tart with the whipped cream and a few gummy bears.

15 Sorting Algorithms in 6 Minutes
Visualization and "audibilization" of 15 Sorting Algorithms in 6 Minutes.
Sorts random shuffles of integers, with both speed and the number of items adapted to each algorithm's complexity.
The algorithms are: selection sort, insertion sort, quick sort, merge sort, heap sort, radix sort (LSD), radix sort (MSD), std::sort (intro sort), std::stable_sort (adaptive merge sort), shell sort, bubble sort, cocktail shaker sort, gnome sort, bitonic sort and bogo sort (30 seconds of it).

Truth Table Tutorial - Discrete Mathematics Logic
Here is a quick tutorial on two different truth tables.
If there's anyone wondering about the "IF/THEN" statements (the one way arrows), please read below:
Think about the statement "If you get an A on your exam, then I will give you $100". This statement will only be False if I break my promise to you.
Therefore:
- If it's TRUE (you got an A), and it's TRUE (I gave you $100), then it's TRUE (I kept my promise).
- If it's TRUE (you got an A), and it's FALSE (I didn't give you $100), then it's FALSE (I broke my promise).
- If it's FALSE (you didn't get an A), and it's TRUE (I gave you $100), then it's TRUE (I didn't break my promise, I was just feeling sorry for you and felt like being generous).
- If it's FALSE (you didn't get an A), and it's FALSE (I didn't give you $100), then it's TRU...

Structure (mathematical logic)
In universal algebra and in model theory, a structure consists of a set along with a collection of finitary operations, and relations that are defined on it.Universal algebra studies structures that generalize the algebraic structures such as groups, rings, fields and vector spaces.

Intro to Logical Statements
We begin our exploration into logic by analyzing LOGICAL STATEMENTS:
1) Define what a logical statement is
2) Recognize examples as logical statements or not logical statements
3) Use the symbols for "not", "and", and "or".
4) Break down a sentence into its logical structure.

Logic: The Structure of Reason
As a tool for characterizing rational thought, logic cuts across many philosophical disciplines and lies at the core of mathematics and computer science. Drawing on Aristotle’s Organon, Russell’s Principia Mathematica, and other central works, this program tracks the evolution of logic, beginning with the basic syllogism. A sampling of subsequent topics includes propositional and predicate logic, Bayesian theory, Boolean logic, Frege’s use of variables and quantifiers, Gödel’s work with meta-mathematics, the Vienna Circle’s logical positivism, and the Turing machine. Commentary by Hilary Putnam, of Harvard University; NYU’s Kit Fine; and Colin McGinn, of Rutgers University, is featured.

What are the basics of mathematical logic? | Intro to Math Structures VS1.1
So you want to prove things? Where do you start if you haven't ever written a proof before? In most cases, a course on discrete mathematics or mathematical structures is where someone writes their first proof and that starts with propositional calculus. In this video section, we go through the bare bones basics of propositions, truth tables, and arguments while including a few proofs and exercises to start towards thinking more about mathematical structuralism at an elementary level. It won't feel like we are doing math if you have not seen this stuff before, but this stuff is fundamental to understanding how to construct mathematical arguments and proof writing techniques.

Converse, Inverse, & Contrapositive - Conditional & Biconditional Statements, Logic, Geometry
This geometry video tutorial explains how to write the converse, inverse, and contrapositive of a conditional statement - if p, then q. This video also discusses the definition of a biconditional statement. It contains plenty of examples and practice problems. The converse is simply the reverse of a conditional statement - if q, then p. The inverse is simply the negation of the conditional statement. The contrapositive is the reverse negation of the original conditional statement.

Introduction to Logic: UC Berkeley PHILOS W12A
Introduction to Logic: UC Berkeley PHILOS W12A is intended as a first course in logic for students with no previous exposure to the subject. The course treats symbolic logic. Students will learn to formalize reasoning in symbolic languages with precisely defined meanings and precisely defined rules of inference. Symbolic logic is by nature a mathematical subject, but the course does not presuppose any prior coursework in mathematics—only an openness to mathematical reasoning.

- If it's FALSE (you didn't get an A), and it's FALSE (I didn't give you $100), then it's TRUE (I kept my promise, you didn't earn the $100 from me)!

As a tool for characterizing rational thought, logic cuts across many philosophical disciplines and lies at the core of mathematics and computer science. Drawing on
Aristotle’s Organon, Russell’s Principia Mathematica, and other central works, this program tracks the evolution of logic, beginning with the basic syllogism.
