A scripting or script language is a programming language that supports scripts, programs written for a special run-time environment that automate the execution of tasks that could alternatively be executed one-by-one by a human operator. Scripting languages are often interpreted (rather than compiled). Primitives are usually the elementary tasks or API calls, and the language allows them to be combined into more complex programs. Environments that can be automated through scripting include software applications, web pages within a web browser, the shells of operating systems (OS), embedded systems, as well as numerous games. A scripting language can be viewed as a domain-specific language for a particular environment; in the case of scripting an application, this is also known as an extension language. Scripting languages are also sometimes referred to as very high-level programming languages, as they operate at a high level of abstraction, or as control languages, particularly for job control languages on mainframes.
Computer programming (often shortened to programming) is a process that leads from an original formulation of a computing problem to executablecomputer programs. Programming involves activities such as analysis, developing understanding, generating algorithms, verification of requirements of algorithms including their correctness and resources consumption, and implementation (commonly referred to as coding) of algorithms in a target programming language. Source code is written in one or more programming languages. The purpose of programming is to find a sequence of instructions that will automate performing a specific task or solving a given problem. The process of programming thus often requires expertise in many different subjects, including knowledge of the application domain, specialized algorithms and formal logic.
Related tasks include testing, debugging, and maintaining the source code, implementation of the build system, and management of derived artifacts such as machine code of computer programs. These might be considered part of the programming process, but often the term software development is used for this larger process with the term programming, implementation, or coding reserved for the actual writing of source code. Software engineering combines engineering techniques with software development practices.
The term "computer", in use from the early 17th century (the first known written reference dates from 1613), meant "one who computes": a person performing mathematical calculations, before electronic computers became commercially available.
"The human computer is supposed to be following fixed rules; he has no authority to deviate from them in any detail." (Turing, 1950)
Teams of people were frequently used to undertake long and often tedious calculations; the work was divided so that this could be done in parallel.
The first time the term "Computer" appeared in The New York Times was February 3, 1853; an obituary stated:
Since the end of the 20th century, the term "human computer" has also been applied to individuals with prodigious powers of mental arithmetic, also known as mental calculators.
Origins in astronomy
The approach was taken for astronomical and other complex calculations. Perhaps the first example of organized human computing was by the Frenchman Alexis Claude Clairaut (1713–1765), when he divided the computation to determine timing of the return of Halley's Comet with two colleagues, Joseph Lalande and Nicole-Reine Lepaute.
Courage is the series' protagonist, and an overly frightened purple beagle dog who lives in Nowhere, Kansas. He was abandoned as a puppy after his parents were sent into outer space, but was adopted by Muriel Bagge. Her husband, Eustace, regularly mistreats him. Ironically, given his name, Courage is a genuine coward, but still goes to great lengths to protect his owners; to the end, he often gets injured, sometimes quite brutally, or almost killed and only surviving through his determination and/or pure luck. Despite his cowardice, Courage is very clever and resourceful when the situation demands it, outsmarting the villains most of the time. Aiding him at saving the day is a self-aware, sarcastic and seemingly omniscient Computer that he keeps in the attic with which he could consult for information in how to remedy any predicament he faces (though it never fails to badmouth him in one way or another). He got his name when Muriel found him as a puppy alone in an alley and remarked that he must be quite brave to be there by himself.
A description of procedural knowledge used in script theory, also used in artificial intelligence
Media
Manuscript, any written document often story based and unpublished
Play (theatre), the dialogue and stage directions for a theatrical production
Screenplay, the dialog and instructions for a film
Script (comics), the dialogue for a comic book or comic strip
Scripted sequence, a predefined series of events in a video game triggered by player location or actions
Script, a defunct literary magazine edited by Rob Wagner
Writing systems
Script (Unicode), collections of letters and other written signs used to represent textual information in writing systems, each assigned to a Unicode number
A distinctive writing system, based on a repertoire of specific elements or symbols, or that repertoire

3:51 : Types of Programming Languages Explained
12:59 : Compilation and Interpretation Methods Explained
A computer is a general purpose machines which can perform many computational task and the modern day computers that we have they can perform billions or trillions of calculations within a fraction of second.
These computer's they can't really do anything on their own. so for a computer to do something one has to give the instructions to it and these instructions will contain step by step information to perform a specific task and these are called as program.
The person who is going to write these instructions or the program is called as the programmer and here the programmer will write the program and the computer will execute that or computer will work on that instructions
The language in which the instructions are written or the language in which this program is written is called as the programming language. now there are several types of programming languages available.
Computers are built to understand the binary language / machine language and since it is difficult to code, assembly languages are invented.
After that middle and higher level languages were invented.
program written in middle / higher language are converted to machine code and executed in either through the compilation method or by using the interpretation method.
languages which use compilation method are called as compiled languages.
for example c, c++ etc.
languages which use interpretation method are called as interpreted languages.
for example python
you will also learn about the terms like program programming programmer compiler and interpreter, compilation and interpretation.

In this course, you will learn basics of computer programming and computer science. The concepts you learn apply to any and all programming languages and will be a good base onto which you can build your skills.
This video is meant for those who are interested in computer science and programming but have no idea where to start and have little to no background information on coding.

in this tutorial you will learn the concept of computer programming and the types of programming languages available including the machine level assembly, higher and middle level languages with their advantages and disadvantages.
Quick Access to Topics
0:00 : Introduction to Computer Programming and Who is a Programmer
After that middle and higher level languages were invented.
program written in middle / higher language are converted to machine code and executed in either through the compilation method or by using the interpretation method.
languages which use compilation method are called as compiled languages.
for example c, c++ etc.
languages which use interpretation method are called as interpreted languages.
for example python
you will also learn about the terms like program programming programmer compiler and interpreter, compilation and interpretation.
