Scream - Six Flags Fiesta Texas
Scream is a air launched / drop tower designed by S&S Worldwide and is located at Six Flags Fiesta Texas in San Antonio, Texas. This ride stands at 200 feet tall and opened in 1999. Scream dominates the skyline at Fiesta Texas and is one of the tallest rides in the park. The unique thing about this ride is it offers both the space shot and turbo drop modes in 1 cycle. Riders are first launched up the tower then held in place at the top while the air canasters are reloaded, then the riders are dropped faster than gravity delivering a copious amount of airtime. This can be intense for some riders so it is recommended for riders that can handle moderate to intense rides.
Sit back, relax, and get ready to take your thrills to the maxx.

Scream Roller Coaster at Six Flags Magic Mountain Grand Opening
Theme Park Adventure was there at Six Flags Magic Mountain for the Grand Opening of the B&M roller coaster Scream. This is footage of the first ride/riders on the inaugural run, fireworks and all.
Note that this video is set to music, which has caused a lot of questions or comments. It should be expressed that TPA included this music because it was the theme song used DURING the opening event of this coaster at Magic Mountain; not our creative styling or choice; we included it to keep the entire feeling of the moment for those who were there that day, as well as to remain historically grounded.

Manufactured by Bolliger & Mabillard, Scream was the park's sixteenth roller coaster and is located in the Screampunk District area of the park. The 150-foot-tall (46 m) ride consists of a series of roller coaster elements including seven inversions ranging from a zero-g roll to interlocking corkscrews. The ride is a mirror image of Bizarro at Six Flags Great Adventure.
Once the train is loaded and secured, the floor is retracted and the train departs the station. A U-turn to the right leads to the 150-foot-tall (46 m) chain lift hill. Once riders reach the top, they go through a small pre-drop before dropping 142 feet (43 m) to the right. The train then reaches a top speed of 63 miles per hour (101 km/h) and enters the 128-foot-tall (39 m) vertical loop followed by a turn to the left into the 96-foot-tall (29 m) dive loop. After the diving loop, the train passes the station and goes through a zero-g roll, where riders experience a feeling of weightlessness. The train then goes through the 78-foot-tall (24 m) cobra roll, a roller coaster element which inverts riders twice. Riders then enter the mid-course brake run which is located next to the lift hill. The train drops out of the brake run to the right and enters a 270-degree helix followed by the two interlocking corkscrews. Riders go through a small dip then enter the final brake run before returning to the station.
