William Rory Gallagher (/ˈrɔːri ˈɡæləhər/ GAL-ə-hər; 2 March 1948 – 14 June 1995) was an Irish blues and rock multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and bandleader. Born in Ballyshannon, County Donegal, and brought up in Cork, Gallagher recorded solo albums throughout the 1970s and 1980s, after forming the band Taste during the late 1960s. He was a talented guitarist known for his charismatic performances and dedication to his craft. Gallagher's albums have sold in excess of 30 million copies worldwide. Gallagher received a liver transplant in 1995, but died of complications later that year in London, UK at the age of 47.
Gallagher was born in Ballyshannon, County Donegal in 1948. His father Daniel was employed by the Irish Electricity Supply Board, who were constructing a hydro-electric power plant on the Erne River above the town. The family moved, first to Derry City, where his younger brother Dónal was born in 1949. His mother, Monica, and the two boys then moved to Cork, where the brothers were raised. Rory attended North Monastery School. Daniel Gallagher had played the accordion and sang with the Tír Chonaill Céilí Band whilst in Donegal; their mother Monica was a singer and acted with the Abbey Players in Ballyshannon. The Theatre in Ballyshannon where Monica once acted is now called the Rory Gallagher Theatre.
Rory Gallagher (born 22 August 1978) is a former gaelic footballer and current manager of Donegal. Gallagher has lined out for the Fermanagh and Cavan inter-county teams, as well as several club teams, including his home club Erne Gaels, as well as Dublin side Saint Brigids and Antrim's St Gall's. He was a selector for Donegal during their 2012 Championship success, acting as number two to Jim McGuinness. He left the Donegal panel after the 2013 championship but later returned as Jim McGuinness's successor in October 2014 when McGuinness stood down after Donegal lost to Kerry in the 2014 All-Ireland SFC Final. He was joint manager of CLG Chill Chartha with John McNulty in 2014 during his time out of from the county panel.
He broke his leg in October 1993.
Gallagher won the Antrim Senior Football Championship and the Ulster Senior Club Football Championship with St Gall's in 2009 and added the All-Ireland Senior Club Football Championship in 2010. He won the Dublin Senior Football Championship and the Leinster Senior Club Football Championship with Saint Brigids in 2003.
Rory Gallagher is the first solo album by Irish blues rock musician Rory Gallagher, released in 1971. It marked his departure from Taste. After disbanding Taste, Gallagher auditioned some of the best musicians available at the time including Noel Redding and Mitch Mitchell the bassist and drummer for the Jimi Hendrix Experience. He decided on two Belfast musicians; drummer Wilgar Campbell, and bass guitarist Gerry McAvoy to be the core of his new power trio band.
"I'm Ready" is the second single from Tevin Campbell's second album I'm Ready. It was a success in both the Pop and R&B charts reaching the top-ten on the Billboard Hot 100 (#9) and top-five R&B (#2). It remained at #2 on the R&B charts for 4 weeks mainly because at the time R. Kelly was making a then record-breaking run on the chart with his mega hit "Bump n' Grind", which stayed at #1 for an astonishing 12 weeks. "I'm Ready" was nominated for a Grammy for Best Rhythm & Blues Vocal Performance - Male.

"I'm Ready" is a 2004 English language song by French pop singer Cherie from her self-titled album Cherie. The full title credit for the song was "I'm Ready (D. Aude / S. Nick / M. Rizzo / The Dummies)" by Cherie. The song sampled the bassline from Foreigner's song "Urgent"
The Female Boss is the debut studio album by British singer and former N-Dubz member Tulisa. It was released on 3 December 2012 via All Around the World and Island Records. The album's artwork was revealed on 6 October 2012 via Tulisa's official Facebook page. The Female Boss originally was to be released on 26 November but was pushed back by one week. It incorporates hip hop, dance and R&B styles while enlisting a variety of producers; The-Dream, Fazer, Stereotypes, Rico Love, Diane Warren and Ed White, among others. The album features guests appearances from British rapper Wiley, American rapper Tyga and Nines. Three singles preceded the album's release; the lead single "Young" peaked at number 1 while "Live It Up" and "Sight of You" peaked within the top 20 of the UK Singles Chart.
Upon its release, The Female Boss has received generally negative reviews from most music critics, with many critics panning the themes, intro of the album, production and some lyrical content, while some critics felt the dance songs were highlights. Commercially, the album opened with poor sales, debuting at number 35 on the UK Albums Chart and number 55 in Ireland.

Rory Gallagher Loreley 1982.(ROCKPALAST). Bad Penny {Lyrics}. Well, like a bad penny you've turned up again You're in my sights, there's a mist on my lens I think you know how it was when I tripped and fell Well, you've double-dealed me, baby and I broke like a shell, oh Well, like a bad penny you've sure lost the glow But I'm out of reach, your smile's sure gone cold Well, it can't ever be like it was then Well, don't you fool with me, baby Well, don't you mess with my plans Some stormy nights Your memory haunts me You won't go away Well, like a bad penny you have turned up in the change Try to fit into the picture, you can't get inside the frame I think you know I'm still sore but I'm on the mend Times sure have changed, it won't happen again Well, like a bad penny spins around and...
