The Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) is an application protocol for distributed, collaborative, hypermedia information systems. HTTP is the foundation of data communication for the World Wide Web.
Hypertext is structured text that uses logical links (hyperlinks) between nodes containing text. HTTP is the protocol to exchange or transfer hypertext.
HTTP functions as a request–response protocol in the client–server computing model. A web browser, for example, may be the client and an application running on a computer hosting a web site may be the server. The client submits an HTTP request message to the server. The server, which provides resources such as HTML files and other content, or performs other functions on behalf of the client, returns a response message to the client. The response contains completion status information about the request and may also contain requested content in its message body.
The head (or heads) is a ship's toilet. The name derives from sailing ships in which the toilet area for the regular sailors was placed at the head or bow of the ship.
Design
In sailing ships, the toilet was placed in the bow for two reasons. Firstly, since most vessels of the era could not sail directly into the wind, the winds came mostly across the rear of the ship, placing the head essentially downwind. Secondly, if placed somewhat above the water line, vents or slots cut near the floor level would allow normal wave action to wash out the facility. Only the captain had a private toilet near his quarters, at the stern of the ship in the quarter gallery.
In many modern boats, the heads look similar to seated flush toilets but use a system of valves and pumps that brings sea water into the toilet and pumps the waste out through the hull in place of the more normal cistern and plumbing trap to a drain. In small boats the pump is often hand operated. The cleaning mechanism is easily blocked if too much toilet paper or other fibrous material is put down the pan.
News style, journalistic style or news writing style is the prose style used for news reporting in media such as newspapers, radio and television.
News style encompasses not only vocabulary and sentence structure, but also the way in which stories present the information in terms of relative importance, tone, and intended audience. The tense used for news style articles is past tense.
News writing attempts to answer all the basic questions about any particular event—who, what, when, where and why (the Five Ws) and also often how—at the opening of the article. This form of structure is sometimes called the "inverted pyramid", to refer to the decreasing importance of information in subsequent paragraphs.
News stories also contain at least one of the following important characteristics relative to the intended audience: proximity, prominence, timeliness, human interest, oddity, or consequence.
The related term journalese is sometimes used, usually pejoratively, to refer to news-style writing. Another is headlinese.
A stage musical based on the 1980 musical film Fame has been staged under two titles. The first, Fame – The Musical conceived and developed by David De Silva, is a musical with a book by José Fernandez, music by Steve Margoshes and lyrics by Jacques Levy. The musical premiered in 1988 in Miami, Florida. As Fame on 42nd Street, it was performed Off-Broadway at the Little Shubert Theatre on 42nd St from 2003 to 2004.
De Silva had produced the 1980 film about students at New York City's High School of Performing Arts. The critically and commercially successful film was followed by a six-season television series, and the musical. The musical is significantly rewritten from the previous adaptations, with an almost entirely new score. The film is referred to several times in the script and in two songs.
It tells the story of several students who attend the High School of Performing Arts, among them fame-obsessed Carmen, ambitious actress Serena, wisecracking comedian/bad boy Joe, quiet violinist Schlomo, "talented but dyslexic" dancer Tyrone, determined actor Nick, overweight dancer Mabel, and poor dancer Iris.
With the Young Americans sessions mostly concluded by late 1974, the material was delayed while Bowie extricated himself from his contract with manager Tony Defries. During this time, he was staying in New York, where he met John Lennon. The pair jammed together, leading to a one-day session at Electric Lady Studios in January 1975. There, Carlos Alomar had developed a guitar riff for Bowie's cover of "Footstompin'" by The Flairs, which Bowie thought was "a waste" to give to a cover. Lennon, who was in the studio with them, sang "aim" over the riff, which Bowie turned into "Fame" and he thereafter wrote the rest of the lyrics to the song.
The song was later used as the theme song for the Fame television series, which aired from 1982 to 1987. It was also used in other TV shows related to Fame.
"Fame" rose to number four on the Billboard Hot 100 in August 1980. It also reached number one on the Billboard dance chart for one week. The song was rereleased in the United Kingdom in 1982 following the airing of the Fame television series. It hit number one in the UK Singles Chart for three weeks. It has sold 1.05 million copies in the UK as of June 2013. The song also reached number one in Flanders, Ireland, the Netherlands and New Zealand, and number three in Sweden.

Think of HTTP as the railway system among all the computers in the World Wide Web. Remember the World Wide Web is the library of the Internet. On this railway system, only web pages can ride along.
This is how it works.
The requesting computer opens up a browser to request the web page. Then the computer opens its socket (a stop station) just for the web pages’ traffic. Then the request rides along the HTTP railway to the webserver into its open socket (a stop station). The web server understands the request and loads the web pages to ride back to the HTTP railway. It goes through the socket then it shows up on the local browser of the requesting computer.
That is what and how HTTP works

So, it’s time to try shooting and editing your own news video! Here are some tips to consider before you start shooting.
Think about the shooting arrangements ahead of time. Remember that, depending on the background, the reporter needs to be in a specific position.
For the shooting and the montage, you'll need a green background to make use of chroma key. If you don't have a professional green screen, use green sheets or just glue several pieces of green paper together.
If you want to include an expert or special reporter in your video, shoot them in a different location: the street, maybe, or your friend's house. Use the split screen or picture-in-picture effect to add the second person to the video.
As for the montage, there are also some interesting options to choose from! If you need video editing software, we recommend you try the new and improved version of Movavi Video Editor – it will help you create amazing videos.
And here’s a version for Mac users: https://goo.gl/dPPTMJ
Step 1. Add files to the program and create an intro.
Step 2. Add a title for your news program. You can do this using the titles tool. Go to the title tab, choose the one you want, and place it above the intro video. Adjust the text, size, and font as you wish.
Step 3. To place your reporter in the studio, drag the green screen video above the photo or video. Highlight the clip on the timeline, click clip properties in the tool section, and choose the chroma key option. Change the opacity until the green background disappears. Now drag the reporter to the position you want them in.
Step 4. To add the second reporter to the monitor - drag the video above other timelines. In the clip properties, choose 'picture-in-picture', move the video to the green screen position, and edit the size as needed.
Use the same technique to add the logo: add a file with the logo, place it above the main video, choose 'picture-in-picture', adjust the size, and drag it to the left or right corner.
Step 5. Now let's add a rolling ticker. Go to the Titles tab, Basic, and choose the Scroll left option. Stretch the frame with the text to the full width of the frame, add your ticker text, pick the font you want, and decide on colour and size.
And your first news-style video is ready!
Want to learn more about video montage? Leave us your ideas in the comments section below and we’ll make a tutorial especially for you.

Learn world wide web, hypertext transfer protocol, http protocol in computer networks, http request message, and http response message, http protocol explained, http protocol tutorial, http in application layer.
World Wide Web is one of the network applications and it uses client-server architecture. HTTP or HyperText Transfer Protocol is the application layer protocol that is implemented in the client program and the server program. An example of a client program is a Web browser like Google Chrome. An example of a server program is a web server like Apache web server. HTTP uses TCP as its underlying transport protocol. HTTP request message has the request line, header lines, and entity body. HTTP response message has three parts Status line, Header line, and Entity body. HTTP is a stateless protocol because HTTP servers do not store any information about the clients.
In this video I talk about the HTTP and how it works on the web, I explain the request response cycle and how http messages make that possible.I also talk about the http message, the start line, headers and body.
I hope you find this video useful! ^^

Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) Animation

What is HTTP
HTTP means Hypertext Transfer Protocol. Let’s understand each of these words first.
Hypertext is a text with references (or hyperlinks) that connects you directly to the related material. So, think of a Word document with links. When I click on this CNN link. It directs me to the CNN webpage.
Transfer means to move from one place to another. In this case, it means to move the Web Pages from the Web Server where it is stored to the requesting computer’s browser.
Protocol means a procedure or systems or rules. So, HTTP basically means the system of transferring web pages.

What is Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS)?
A communications protocol for secure communications over a computer network.
How Does Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS) Work?
Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure, abbreviated as HTTPS, provides authentication for websites and servers that guard against "man-in-the-middle" attacks, allowing users to trust that a given website or asset accurately represents itself through its web address. This system adds Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) to SSL/TLS, providing bidirectional encryption.

Port 443: The Secure Gateway to the Internet
Port 443 is primarily used for HTTPS (Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure) traffic. This means it's the standard port for secure communication between your web browser and websites.
Why is it important?
* Security: Data transmitted through port 443 is encrypted, protecting sensitive information like passwords, credit card numbers, and personal data from being intercepted by unauthorized parties.
* Trust: Websites using HTTPS, indicated by the padlock icon in your browser, are generally considered more trustworthy as they prioritize user security.
* Wide adoption: Almost all secure websites use port 443, making it a ubiquitous part of the internet.
Examples of websites using port 443
* Online banking
* E-commerce platforms
* Social media sites
* Email services
* Any website with sensitive information
In essence, port 443 is the backbone of secure internet communication. It ensures that your online activities are protected from prying eyes.
Would you like to know more about how HTTPS works or why it's important to prioritize websites with HTTPS?
