Pros and Cons of System Restore
Pros and Cons of System Restore
what is system restore used for? The tool is designed to protect and repair the computer software. System Restore takes a "snapshot" of the some system files and the Windows registry and saves them as Restore Points.
System Restore is a handy feature to have to help return your Windows PC to an earlier point in time when it was working. But people use it as a backup solution, which is not a good idea. In my experience, system restore is unreliable and untrustworthy, but with that said, it does have a place in 2021.
Its great for rolling a computer back after a failed program install or a failed driver install.

The just released preview of Windows 11 comes many new features such as redesigned user desktop centered Start menu and taskbar, rounded corners windows, themes and colors and many more.
One legacy feature that’s also available in the new Windows 11 is the ability to to create system restore points to recover Windows by going back in time. System Restore in Windows 11 creates restore points so that your computer can be restored to previous working states. It’s like going back in time when you need it most.
This tutorial will apply for computers, laptops, desktops, and tablets running the Windows 11 operating system (Home, Professional, Enterprise, Education) from all supported hardware manufactures, like Dell, HP, Acer, Asus, Toshiba, Lenovo, and Samsung.
