NCAA Featured Session - Paris 2024: The NCAA Impact at the Olympic and Paralympic Games
The NCAA’s footprint in the Olympics and Paralympics is massive and continues to grow. At the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, more than 1,200 former, current and incoming student-athletes from all three divisions competed for more than 120 countries.
College sports are especially valuable to Team USA. At the 2024 Paris Olympics alone, 65% (385 of 592) of the U.S. Olympic team had ties to an NCAA championship or emerging sport.
The NCAA and the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Committee have maintained a cooperation agreement since 2019. Hear from NCAA and USOPC leaders about the importance of college sports to the Olympic training ground and what’s next.

The NCAA’s footprint in the Olympics and Paralympics is massive and continues to grow. At the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, more than 1,200 former, current and incoming student-athletes from all three divisions competed for more than 120 countries.
College sports are especially valuable to Team USA. At the 2024 Paris Olympics alone, 65% (385 of 592) of the U.S. Olympic team had ties to an NCAA championship or emerging sport.
The NCAA and the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Committee have maintained a cooperation agreement since 2019. Hear from NCAA and USOPC leaders about the importance of college sports to the Olympic training ground and what’s next.
