The Puerto Rico Highway 52 (PR-52) is a major toll road in Puerto Rico today known also as the Autopista Luis A. Ferré, it was formerly known as Expreso Las Americas. It runs from PR-1 in southwest Río Piedras and heads south until it intersects with highway PR-2 in Ponce. At its north end, the short PR-18 continues north from PR-52 towards San Juan. This short segment is known as Expreso Las Americas, the only segment of the route still unofficially bearing this name, since PR-18 is officially named Roberto Sánchez Vilella Expressway. The combined route of PR-18 and PR-52 is concurrent with the unsigned Interstate HighwayPRI-1. PR-52 is a toll road. Toll stations are located in Caguas, Salinas, Juana Díaz, and Ponce.
Route description
PR-52 is Puerto Rico's longest and second most traveled tollway. The road is mostly a 2-lane road in each direction. The section between the Caguas toll and the town of Salinas goes across the Cordillera Central, resulting in a more curvy and hilly section than the other sections of the highway. It also experiences more fog and lower visibility than the rest of the road due to the altitude. The speed limit is also reduced in the area.

HWY 52 Cayey Mountains. 4K Drone Footage
Hello viewers and followers on my channel. This video takes place on HWY PR 52. From Cayey to Salinas. Thats the center of the island heading towards the south or vice versa. This highway to me is very Special because its on the mountains. There's lots of steep hills. Even though I love this highway sometimes I get a little stressed just going downhill. Because the hills are kind of steep. And when your on highway on the other side of the mountains there are two twin peaks called Cerro Tetas De Cayey. Those peaks are about 800ft high. They are not the highest peaks but they are one of the highest. The highest peaks here in Puerto Rico are at El Yunque Rainforest if I'm not mistaken.

Puerto Rican Bridges Sounds ASMR Compilation #1 (PR-52)
The majority of the bridges of PR-52 are from the early to mid 1970's, and the early 80's, but they doesn't have any characteristic sound due in fact that the grooving of those bridges are heavily worn off, because it is one of the two most busiest highway in Puerto Rico (The other one being PR-22, which also suffered the same thing despite most of the bridge being from the 80's and even the 90's).
For reference, theses bridges are from Puerto Rico Highway 52. (Keyword Highway)

Roadsound-wise, interestingly, these lanes when the concrete was laid used to have transversal tining during the construction, but they where longitudiadly grooved with diamond grinding, even before they where opened to traffic in April 2021.
Audio was edited to remove most of the voice, while keeping the background road noises.

I'm a king among men down at the 'Just Say When' My loyal subjects raise a glass and send a pint my way But when I leave my throne to the castle I go home I stroll across the drawbridge and this is what I say You are the queen and you're the only queen That there has ever been You rule my very soul, I'm worthless on my own Your majesty will always be supreme And I don't deserve the pleasure and the privilege to serve Yeah, they might call me king but that don't mean a thing 'Cause you are the queen In ol' Egypt, the pharaoh had to walk the straight and narrow Back when Cleopatra had her day 'Cause he wouldn't get no kissin' until he'd sit and listen To every word ol' Cleo had to say Said, mighty Samson to Delia and Arthur, Guenevere I'll tell you everything you wanna hear But like any other king just don't mean a thing 'Til I can see the kingdom as I whisper in your ear Oh, baby You are the queen, you're reigning down all over everything Your highness's devine, you use it all the time Your humble servant I'll always be So please judge me fair And from your darkened dungeon I'll be spared I've laid my armor down, I thrown away my crown
