"Bad Boyz" was the lead single released from Shyne's eponymous debut album, Shyne (2000). The song was produced by Ez Elpee and featured reggae artist Barrington Levy. The song includes samples from "Nightclubbin" by Grace Jones and Levy's own song "Here I Come".
Directed by Marc Klasfeld, the video starts off with the caption: Rae Town, Jamaica 9:37 am, with Shyne exiting Norman Manley International Airport and heading to town. It later consists of scenes where viewers see the community of Rae Town and the people surrounding it and Shyne and Barrington Levy hanging out with them throughout the day and into the late night at a party. Later scenes showed Shyne in the back of a car riding through Times Square.
Badí‘ (Arabic:ﺑﺪﻳﻊ 1852–1869) was the title of Mírzá Áqá Buzurg-i-Nishapuri, also known by the title the Pride of Martyrs. He was the son of `Abdu'l-Majid-i-Nishapuri, a follower of the Báb and Bahá'u'lláh.
Badí‘ is most famous for being the bearer of a tablet written by Bahá'u'lláh to Nasiri'd-Din Shah, for which he was tortured and killed at the age of 17. He is also one of the foremost Apostles of Bahá'u'lláh.
The Kitáb-i-Badí', a book written by Bahá'u'lláh, has no relation to the Badí‘ of this article.
Travels
Although Badí's father was a Bahá'í, Badí was originally not touched by the new religion. He was an unruly and rebellious youth, and his father described him as the "despair of the family". It was upon a meeting with Nabíl-i-A`zam that Badí‘ heard a poem by Bahá'u'lláh and began weeping. After finishing his studies, he gave away his possessions and set out on foot for Baghdad, where a significant number of Bahá'ís were under persecution. Finally he set out on foot from Mosul through Baghdad to the prison city of `Akka.
Banyan VINES was a computer networkoperating system and the set of computer network protocols it used to connect to client machines on the network. The name was an acronym for Virtual Integrated Network Service. Banyan Systems ran as a collection of services on top of AT&TUNIX System V, and based its core network protocols on the archetypical Xerox XNSstack. VINES was one of a group of XNS-based systems that also included Novell NetWare. It has since disappeared from the market, along with Banyan Systems.
James Allchin, who later worked as Group Vice President for Platforms at Microsoft Corporation until his retirement on January 30, 2007, was the chief architect of Banyan VINES.
VINES technology
VINES ran on a low-level protocol known as VIP—the VINES Internetwork Protocol—that was essentially identical to the lower layers of XNS. Addresses consisted of a 32-bit address and a 16-bit subnet that mapped to the 48-bit Ethernet address to route to machines. This meant that, like other XNS-based systems, VINES could only support a two-level internet.
HIStory: Past, Present and Future, Book I (usually shortened to HIStory) is the ninth overall studio album and his fifth under Epic Records by American recording artist Michael Jackson. It was released on June 16, 1995 by Epic Records. This is Jackson's first album on his own label, MJJ Productions, and consists of two discs: the first disc (HIStory Begins) is a compilation of some of his greatest hits from 1979 onward, while the second disc (HIStory Continues) is a studio album composed entirely of new material. The majority of the second disc's tracks were written and produced by Jackson, often in conjunction with collaborators.
HIStory was Jackson's return to releasing music following the accusation of child sexual abuse in August 1993. Many of the 15 songs pertain to the accusations and Jackson's mistreatment in the media, specifically the tabloids. The songs' themes include environmental awareness, isolation, greed, suicide and injustice.
HIStory is Jackson's most controversial album. Jackson was accused of using anti-Semitic lyrics in "They Don't Care About Us". Jackson stated that he did not mean any offense and on multiple occasions denied anti-Semitism. The dispute regarding the lyrics ended with Jackson re-recording them. R. Kelly was accused of plagiarizing one of the album's songs, "You Are Not Alone". In 2007 a judge ruled that the song was plagiarized and the song was subsequently banned from radio stations in Belgium.
VERSION.EXE, an external DOS command in Novell DOS 7, OpenDOS 7.01 and DR-DOS 7.02 and higher to retrieve embedded metadata like file version and author info
Version 2.0 is the second studio album by American rock band Garbage, released on May 4, 1998 by Mushroom Records. The album was recorded primarily at Smart Studios from March 1997 to February 1998. Despite a slow start, Version 2.0 went on to equal its predecessor, becoming platinum-certified in many territories. By 2008, it had sold 1.7 million copies in the United States. Garbage embarked on an 18-month-long world tour, and released a string of hit singles backed with innovative music videos.
With the album, Garbage aimed to improve and expand on the style of their 1995 self-titled debut rather than reinvent their sound. Lead singer Shirley Manson wrote dark, introspective lyrics, which she felt complemented the songs' melodies. Version 2.0 received generally positive reviews from music critics, and was included by several publications in their year-end lists of 1998's best albums. In 1999, Version 2.0 was nominated for Grammy Awards for Album of the Year and Best Rock Album. The album's third single "Special" was further nominated the following year for Best Rock Song and for Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group.

As well as PCs, Banyan Vines also ran on PS/2s with early versions running on Motorola 68k systems designed specifically by Banyan. Not much to look at, most of the management of the server was done directly from a Windows or DOS client.

Banyan promo video circa 1998.mpg
This is a video I scripted, way back in 1998 when I worked in marketing at a company called Project Media. The client was long-dead NOS vendor (heck, who even knows what a NOS is anymore?) called Banyan, which got killed by Novell and Microsoft. This campaign was pretty rad for 1998: we shot a video, burned it to CD-ROM and mailed it to folks as fulfillment collateral after a direct mail campaign. The message is also pretty archaic: use the Net for remote access, rather than setting up modem banks for incoming connections. So quaint!

Quick tutorial: DIY artificial roots and vines
Very quick tutorial on how to make vines or roots using jute/sisal rope
- PAINT: I'm using MATTE ACRYLIC PAINT and it does not have to be the exact same shades I'm using, any brown shade that is close to the color of the dirt you choose will work just fine.
- GLUE: any glue will work fine, but if you plan to use the vines/roots in aquatic environment be careful to use a water resistant glue
- ROPE: Sisal/Jute rope of any thickness will work since we need to unroll the fibers.
- There are several other good tutorials on youtube about vines and roots, here are two of my favorites:

The operating system Banyan Vines (x86) running under VirtualBox. Banyan Vines is a UNIX based network operating system which primarily server Windows & DOS based clients using it's own proprietary VINES network protocol. It was particularly known for it's directory service called StreetTalk which pre-dates Active Directory and even Netware Directory Services. StreetTalk was perhaps even the first enterprise-class directory service. As well as PCs, Banyan Vines also ran on PS/2s with early versions running on Motorola 68k systems designed specifically by Banyan. Not much to look at, most of the management of the server was done directly from a Windows or DOS client.

Install a Banyan VINES Server in 2022.

Parts of the video are sped up to save time.
Banyan VINES 5.54(20) booting up under VirtualBox, together with a tour of a few screens.
Unfortunately there's no networking at the moment due to a lack of drivers, so there not that much to see. VINES prior to version 6.00 was limited to using pre-installed drivers, and none of those available work with VirtualBox's emulation of an AMD PCNET adapter.
Installed using the 5.54 root password ('YamIhere'), and a the creation of a few text files - /disk1/banyan/comm/serial, /disk1/banyan/ss/sysopts.db and /disk1/banyan/install/.skini. The dongle reading binary - /disk1/banyan/install/mwidget has been replaced with a simple shell script that sleeps for a few seconds, writes to the .skini file and exits. Installed initially under 86Box and patched to 5.54(20) - networking is usable under 86Box, but is slow and buggy.
So quaint!
After playing with NetWare I thought I should have a look at a few of their main rivals, starting with Banyan VINES. Could I get it working? You'll have to watch to find out...

Leaves: Small, glossy green leaves that are oval-shaped. The leaves grow densely, giving the tree a lush appearance.Trunk and Bark: The trunk is thick and sturdy, often with a textured bark that adds to its ancient look.Roots: One of the defining features is its aerial roots, which grow from the branches and reach down to the soil, creating a network of roots and trunks that give it a unique and dramatic appearance.Height: In bonsai form, the Banyan tree is typically kept between 1 to 3 feet tall, though it can vary based on the style and care.
