The Take were a post-punkband from Melbourne, Australia, in the late 1970s. The Take were involved in the little band scene, and had a track, "Summer", on the Little Band EP released in 1979. Summer was re-released on Chapter Music's Can't Stop It! Australian Post-Punk 1978-82 retrospective CD in 2001.
The Take are a pop rock band from Sydney, Australia. The members are Justin Roberts (vocals/keys), Robb Mitchell (guitar), Shane Yasserie (bass) and Tim Vickery (drums).
Justin Roberts and Robb Mitchell met in high school, and a mutual love of music led them to create the band Streetlight Theatre, which also featured Shane Yasserie. Under this name, they supported Kisschasy, Something with Numbers, Avalon Drive and Angelas Dish. In 2006 they were joined by Tim Vickery on drums, and became The Take.
The Take recorded their first single, Breathe, with Australian producer Greg Stace, and released it in April 2009. Shortly after, they set off to perform in the Boost Mobile Rock The Schools Tour, starting on 4 May 2009 with Balwyn High School. They toured for four weeks, visiting 20 high schools in Victoria, Australia. In October and November 2010, The Take toured extensively with Australian band Amy Meredith. November 2010 saw them also touring with Thirsty Merc and in January 2011, with For Our Hero.
Again is the fifth extended play by South Korean girl group T-ara, released on October 10, 2013 by Core Contents Media. It was the first album released after member Lee Areum left the group, and the first to feature the original six-member line-up since T-ara's debut.
Background and release
On October 6, 2013, T-ara announced the impending release of double lead singles to promote their upcoming EP, Again. The album was released digitally on October 10, including the singles "Number 9" (넘버나인) and "Because I Know" (느낌 아니까; Neukkim Anikka) and their music videos. "Number 9" is an electro-pop dance song with sad lyrics and melody. It was choreographed by Yama & Hotchicks, who also choreographed "Bo Peep Bo Peep". "Because I Know" is a mid-tempo song with an acoustic feel.
A repackaged edition of the EP, Again 1977, was released on December 4, 2013. It contains two new songs, "Again 1977" and "Do You Know Me", a remake of Sand Pebbles' 1977 hit, "What Should I Do". The EP was repackaged and digitally re-released again, on December 14, 2013, as White Winter with two Christmas songs, "Hide and Seek" and "Middle of Winter Hide and Seek".
MX is a Brazilianthrash metal band, formed in the early 1980s in São Paulo. Its name comes from the American ICBM MX missile. Mx was one of the most important bands from the Brazilian thrash metal scene during the late 1980s. The band's sound is closer to the Bay Area thrash scene than the Brazilian scene, although many of the vocals were death metal grunts. However, some of its later work was fitting as post thrash.
MX was the opening act in Brazil for Testament in 1989 and Exodus in 1997.
The band released two studio albums during its heyday, Simoniacal in 1988 and Mental Slavery in 1990, on the defunct label Fucker.
Shortly after the release of Mental Slavery, the band split up, but reformed in 1997, releasing the EP Again in that year and the album Last File in 1999. The band split up again shortly after.
The band reformed for a second time in 2005, planning to tour and to release a new studio album. The first two albums have been re-released under the Marquee Records label.
The first season of the American television series Haven premiered on July 9, 2010, and concluded on October 8, 2010, on Syfy. The show aired on Fridays at 10:00 pm ET. The season consisted of 13 episodes. The show stars Emily Rose, Lucas Bryant, Eric Balfour and Nicholas Campbell.
Storylines
Audrey
In the beginning of season one, Audrey was dispatched to Haven, Maine to investigate the death of an escaped federal prisoner local to the town. On her first day in Haven, she nearly ran her Ford Taurus off a cliff, but was rescued by Detective Nathan Wuornos, who assisted in her investigation. She met Havenites Conrad Brauer and Duke Crocker, as well as journalists Vince and Dave Teagues, before discovering that Lester had been thrown to his death by Marion Caldwell with the use of her own paranormal abilities.
The Teagues show Audrey an old newspaper clipping with a photo of someone strongly resembling Audrey herself. After solving the Lester case, Parker chose to use several weeks of her accrued vacation time in order to stay in Maine. She questioned Chief Wuornos (Nathan's Father) about the woman in the picture because Wuornos had investigated the 1983 Colorado Kid case to which the photograph was related, and the chief agreed to look into the matter. The evidence box from the case is located still sealed, but empty.
The Big Problem That Ruins Teen Show Reboots & Revivals 🤔 iCarly, Gossip Girl, Gilmore Girls & More

Reboots and revivals of beloved films and shows have essentially become unavoidable in recent years – and while most of these are hit or miss, one particular genre has had a pretty hard time finding its footing when trying to bring media into the modern era: kids and teen shows. From iCarly to Boy Meets World to Gilmore Girls to (almost!) Lizzie McGuire and beyond, studios clearly have a desire to bring the shows we loved as kids and teens back to our screens in new ways. It Ends With Us: The Real Problem With The Movie & Press Tour Controversy, Explained
It Ends With Us, the new film starring Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni based on the TikTok-Viral book of the same name by Colleen Hoover, has rocketed to the top of the box office since its release, but most of the movie’s press… hasn’t actually been about the movie itself. Instead, alleged behind the scenes drama has dominated the headlines and overshadowed the real message of the film. So… what’s really going on here? Let’s take a moment to separate the production’s problems from the movie’s problems, and analyze how they’ve intersected and sparked their own issues. From iCarly to Boy Meets World to Gilmore Girls to (almost!) Lizzie McGuire and beyond, studios clearly have a desire to bring the shows we loved as kids and teens back to our screens in new ways. But these shows always seem to flounder with the most important aspect: figuring out how to actually show these characters as real grown ups going through new, adult issues. Let’s take a deeper look at what’s caused the disconnect with these kinds of attempted reboots, what has worked, and what studios need to learn if they want to actually bring the original fans back on board.
