Olympus Mons (/əˌlɪmpəsˈmɒnz, oʊ-, -ˈmɒns/;Latin for Mount Olympus) is a very large shield volcano on the planet Mars. By one measure, it has a height of nearly 22km (16mi). Olympus Mons
stands almost three times as tall as Mount Everest's height above sea level. It is the youngest of the large volcanoes on Mars, having formed during Mars's Amazonian Period. It is currently the largest volcano discovered in the Solar System and had been known to astronomers since the late 19th century as the albedo featureNix Olympica (Latin for "Olympic Snow"). Its mountainous nature was suspected well before space probes confirmed its identity as a mountain.

What If Olympus Mons was on Earth?
What If Olympus Mons was on Earth?
Olympus Mons is the tallest mountain in our solar system known yet.
Olympus Mons is a very large shield volcano on the planet Mars. The volcano has a height of over 21 km (13.6 mi or 72,000 ft) as measured by the Mars Orbiter Laser Altimeter (MOLA). Basically it is 2.5 times taller than Mount Everest.
Since volcanoes releases green house gases in climate due to which Earth would face more global warming. Astronomers believe that Olympus Mons is still building up and may erupt in the near future whose impact on Earth would be much horrible than nuclear explosion.
But don't worry it is impossible now so stay calm!
