The following is a list of fictional characters from the 2004 Disney/Pixar animated film The Incredibles and related media.
Robert "Bob" Parr (a.k.a. Mr. Incredible) (voiced by Craig T. Nelson), possesses tremendous strength and durability. He also has enhanced senses. He is married to Helen Parr, the superheroine known as Elastigirl, and they have three children together: Violet, Dash, and Jack-Jack.
Bob found forced retirement difficult, and often had to cheat his way out of the house on Wednesdays so that he could continue his superheroics. He was shocked to discover that his "Number 1 fan", Buddy Pine, had reformed himself as the villain Syndrome after Mr. Incredible had squelched Pine's wish to be his ward in an attempt to protect him, and it was not until Syndrome threatened the family's lives that Bob realized that his family was his "greatest adventure".
His red superhero suit, designed by Edna Mode, appears to have the same level of durability as Mr. Incredible himself. In his prime, Mr. Incredible drove a gadget-laden car, the Incredibile, not unlike the ones driven by James Bond or Batman. The silhouette of a newer version of the Incredimobile for the entire family is seen in the end credits, and makes a full appearance in the comic series.
"Mr. Incredible" is a song by American recording artist Mýa. It was written by Mýa and The Pen Up Dolls duo Lindsay "Lindz" Fields and Nia Myricks for her sixth studio album K.I.S.S. (Keep It Sexy & Simple) (2011), while production was helmed by Young Yonny. The senual downtempo R&B song, was the third single from K.I.S.S to be lifted from the album.
"Mr. Incredible" was released to iTunes on December 16, 2011. On December 25, 2012, after being voted by fans as their favorite song on the album, Mýa presented fans with a music video via Twitter as a way of saying thank you to fans that supported the album.
Tonight at 10pm (Eastern Standard Time), I'll have a present for you all to unwrap. Stay tuned right here on twitter. #Merry Christmas."
On December 25, 2012, at approximately 10pm EST Mýa announced on Twitter that she had something exclusive for her fans. Voted by her fans as their favorite song on the album, Harrison presented fans with an accompanying music video for "Mr. Incredible". The sensual clip which pays homage to the '70s era is dedicated to her fans to thank them for supporting her 2011 album K.I.S.S. (Keep It Sexy & Simple). Directed by Harrison's backup dancer Derek Brown, the visual shows Mýa sporting an afro while soaking in a bathtub wearing only jewelry and pearls as she whispers sweet nothings on the phone in the vintage video. As the video continues, it reveals Harrison retreating to the bathroom where rose petals are laid out in a night of passion with her Mr. Incredible and strolling the sandy shores.
Nico (born Christa Päffgen; 16 October 1938 – 18 July 1988) was a German singer-songwriter, lyricist, composer, musician, fashion model, and actress who became famous as a Warhol superstar in the 1960s. She is known for her vocals on The Velvet Underground's debut album, The Velvet Underground & Nico (1967), and her work as a solo artist. She also had roles in several films, including Federico Fellini's La Dolce Vita (1960) and Andy Warhol's Chelsea Girls (1966).
Nico was born Christa Päffgen in Cologne. When she was two years old, she moved with her mother and grandfather to the Spreewald forest outside of Berlin to escape the bombardments of Cologne. Her father Hermann, born into a dynasty of Colognian master brewers, was enlisted as a soldier during World War II and sustained head injuries that caused severe brain damage and ended his life in a psychiatric institution; according to an unproven rumor, he was variously said to have died in a concentration camp, or to have faded away as a result of shell shock.
Nico & Vinz are an African-Norwegian group singing and songwriting duo composed of Kahouly Nicolay "Nico" Sereba from Holmlia, Oslo and Vincent "Vinz" Dery from Lambertseter, Oslo. They formed in 2009 as Envy and are based in Oslo. They changed their name to Nico & Vinz in January 2014 after the international success of "Am I Wrong".
Nico Sereba of Norwegian-Ivorian origin and Vincent Dery of Norwegian-Nigerian origin created their music as a fusion of genres as diverse as pop to reggae to soul, having been exposed by the various musical influences of their parents with whom they did recurring trips to the West Coast of Africa. The duo was launched as Envy with its main debut appearance at Emergenza Festival in 2011. They won first place at the Taubertal Open Air Festival World's "Emergenza Final" for new emerging artists. Following that success, the duo released the mixtape Dreamworks: Why Not Me under the name Envy. The materials were also made available online through WiMP.
