Kill the Lights is the fifth studio album by American country music artist Luke Bryan. It was released on August 7, 2015, through Capitol Nashville. The album's lead single, "Kick the Dust Up", was released to radio on May 19, 2015. "Strip It Down" was released as the second single from the album on August 4, 2015. The album's third single, "Home Alone Tonight", was released to country radio on November 23, 2015.
Kill the Lights garnered positive reviews from music critics. The album debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 chart, moving 345,000 equivalent units in the week ending August 13.
Critical reception
Kill the Lights has received mostly positive reviews from music critics. At Metacritic, which assigns a "weighted average" rating out of 100 from selected independent ratings and reviews from mainstream critics, the album received a Metascore of 69/100, based on nine reviews, indicating "generally favorable" reviews.Stephen Thomas Erlewine of AllMusic rates the album four stars conveying: "Kill the Lights winds up feeling happy and generous, an inclusive record that plays to teenage desires as effectively as memories of an adolescence left behind. " The publication Billboard rates the album three and a half stars, and Jewly Hight commenting: "the fact that Kill the Lights features a pensive, black-and-white cover shot -- the rare photo in which he's not smiling even a little -- is a hint: He isn't simply going about his business-as-usual fun on this album."Brian Mansfield rates the album three stars out of four at USA Today proffering: "The hits are fine, but that's the guy who's really worth getting to know." Maura Johnston gives the album a positive review on behalf of The Boston Globe suggesting: "Bryan might have broken up with spring break, but crashing pop’s party will probably offer him just as good a time."
"Move" is a single by CSS, it is the third released from the album Donkey. It was released on October 13, 2008. It was remixed by Cut Copy and Frankmusik. The single failed to chart everywhere, except for Italy. It is featured in the forever 21 playlist. A remix of the song was used for a jazz routine on So You Think You Can Dance season 5, which was performed by Janette Manrana and Evan Kasprzak, and later season 8 for a solo by jazz dancer Missy Morelli.
The Alaska was a record breaking British passenger liner that won the Blue Riband for the Guion Line as the fastest liner on the Atlantic in 1882. She was a slightly larger and faster edition of Guion's Arizona and in 1883 became the first liner to make the crossing to New York in under a week. However, Alaska burned 250 tons of coal per day, as compared to Arizona's already high 135 tons. Built by John Elder & Company of Glasgow, she carried 350 first class passengers and 1,000 steerage. Her passengers included Hugh Simpson Rodham: future grandfather of Hillary Rodham Clinton, who travelled in steerage to America with his mother Bella and seven siblings as a toddler in October 1882. As in the case of Arizona, Stephen Guion also personally owned Alaska.
Alaska completed 100 voyages when Guion suspended sailings in 1894. She proved difficult to sell and was finally chartered in 1897 by Cia. Transatlanticia Espanola as a troop transport. In 1899, Alaska was sold for scrap, but was resold to the Barrow shipyard where she was used as an accommodation hulk until broken up in 1902.
While Alaska did not sell as well as its predecessor The Silent Circus upon release, it still achieved high critical reviews and it includes some of the band’s most notable songs, such as its title track and "Selkies: The Endless Obsession". Another version of Alaska was released featuring instrumental versions of most of the songs (excluding tracks 3, 6, and 7). A music video was released for the song "Alaska".

The contract to build Alaska was awarded to the Electric Boat Division of General Dynamics Corporation in Groton, Connecticut, on 27 February 1978 and her keel was laid down there on 9 March 1983. She was launched on 12 January 1985, sponsored by Mrs. Catherine Stevens, and commissioned on 25 January 1986, with Captain Paul L. Callahan in command of the Blue Crew and Captain Charles J. Chotvacs in command of the Gold Crew.
The Alaska was awarded the 2011, 2012, and 2014 Navy Battle Efficiency "E" ("Battle E") award for being the most valuable asset in her squadron. She also received the 2011, 2012 and 2014 Commander, United States Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) Omaha Trophy. The Omaha Trophy reflects the ability of an SSBN to execute its primary mission, emphasizing strategic deterrence and its evolving role in global operations.

Northern Lights In Alaska, Chena Hot Springs & Ice Museums | Go North Ep 17
This episode takes us to back to Fairbanks, Alaska for a fall adventure with some friends from Battle Born Batteries. We visit the Chena Hot Springs Resort for a soak and a visit to the Aurora Ice Museum. Our group also flies up to the arctic for a tour down the Dalton Highway where we experienced the best Aurora Borealis or Northern Lights display of the trip yet. We visited North Pole, Alaska for some Christmas spirit available year-round then stopped over at Denali National Park to see it in its fall glory. Leaving Fairbanks we head south as the weather cools off but make one last stop in the Tetlin National Wildlife Refuge and visit Deadman Lake Campground for a bit of downtime before crossing back to Cana...

I live in Alaska now! (Girl Takes A Job As A Deckhand And Moves To Alaska)
I've been here in Alaska for one month now, it is absolutely beautiful! This trip wasn’t planned, however I needed a job. So I randomly applied for one coolworks.com and two weeks later, here I am. Its been a whirlwind of a journey joining the company mid season, getting trained in and now working 50 hour weeks. But I love it; The company, the people, the boat, and of course working at sea. Our season only lasts until late Sept though, so Im saving all I can to be able to travel again in the fall.
