Riding Miami-Dade Metrorail, Downtown Miami to Miami International Airport
Riding the Miami-Dade Transit Metrorail (train model: Hitachi) northbound from Government Center Station (Downtown Miami) Station to Miami International Airport (MIA) Station. The Orange Line is the only rail line that connects to MIA. It is almost a 20 minutes journey between MIA to Downtown.
Earlier this year, I've recorded and uploaded a Miami-Dade Orange Line (train model: Budd),. Check-out this video: https://youtu.be/eOxosp_vWac

New Yorker Rides the Miami Metrorail for the First Time : Fast, Clean, Too Much Air Conditioning
I ride the Miami Metrorail for the first time from the Douglas Road Station to the Civic Center. I thought the train was very clean, efficient, and the announcements were clear. However, the air conditioning was a bit much!

⁴ᴷ Footage of the Miami Metrorail System
Miami has a very 1980s-style rapid transit system called "Metrorail". It has two lines, Green and Orange, which parallel each other for almost all of their length, branching in two separate directions on the north end.
Metrorail uses cars built by the Budd company, the same company that built the R32 cars on the NYC Subway. These cars used by Miami Metrorail are from the mid 1980s and are among the last subway cars Budd ever built. They have never been refurbished, and have the same interior, mechanical, and electrical design they had when delivered in the 1980s.

Hello and welcome aboard to another Metrorail episode I think is overdue. Today's stops toward Downtown are: Palmetto, Okeechobee, Hialeah, Tri-Rail, Northside, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr, Brownsville, Earlington Heights, Allapattah, Santa Clara, Civic Center, Culmer, Historic Overtown Lyric Theatre, and Government Center. This trip as you might have noticed was a fair bit different from the train from Dadeland. One, South Miami is faster than North Miami because in NoMi, stations are closely packed together, whereas in South Miami, the route goes straight down U.S. 1 which barely allows for development. In North Miami, the train goes straight through the developed neighborhoods. Differences and betterness aside, I found as a Miamian, traveling through North Miami, fun. Sure the train can't reach it's top speed for long, but it shows clearly how fast the train zips through, apart from people's cars on U.S. 1 who to this day are still choosing to be a part of traffic jams. Enjoy the ride! You can also check out my video of the train from Dadeland North. It's here: https://youtu.be/TKIM4Akjj0I?t=275
