List of Latin-script digraphs
This is a list of digraphs used in various Latin alphabets. Capitalization involves only the first letter (ch – Ch) unless otherwise stated (ij – IJ).
Letters with diacritics are arranged in alphabetic order according to their base. That is, ⟨å⟩ is alphabetized with ⟨a⟩, not at the end of the alphabet as it would be in Norwegian, Swedish and Danish. Substantially modified letters such as ⟨ſ ⟩ (a variant of ⟨s⟩) and ⟨ɔ⟩ (based on ⟨o⟩) are placed at the end.
Apostrophe
⟨’b⟩ (capital ⟨’B⟩) is used in the Bari alphabet for /ɓ/.
⟨’d⟩ (capital ⟨’D⟩) is used in the Bari alphabet for /ɗ/.
⟨’y⟩ (capital ⟨’Y⟩) is used in the Bari alphabet for /ʔʲ/. It is also used for this sound in the Hausa language in Nigeria, but in Niger, Hausa ⟨’y⟩ is replaced with ⟨ƴ ⟩.
A
⟨a’⟩ is used in Taa orthography, where it represents the glottalized or creaky-voiced vowel /a̰/.
⟨aa⟩ is used in the orthographies of Dutch, Finnish and other languages with phonemic long vowels for /aː/. It was formerly used in Danish and Norwegian (and still is in some proper names) for the sound /ɔ/, now spelled ⟨å⟩.

Míša
Míša is a popular Czech brand of frozen confection. Míšas have been made continuously since 1961, and sell over 12 million ice pops per year, making it the most successful ice cream brand in the Czech Republic. It has survived events such as the Velvet Revolution and is fondly remembered as an integral part of Czech childhood.
They are made with frozen cream cheese, rather than ice cream or yogurt.
The logo features a grinning green bear, holding its arms above the word "Míša."

Master of Arts (Scotland)
The degree of Master of Arts in Scotland typically refers to a four-year undergraduate Honours degree in the arts, humanities or social sciences awarded by one of the ancient universities of Scotland – the University of St Andrews, the University of Glasgow, the University of Aberdeen, the University of Edinburgh - plus the University of Dundee (as a result of its history as a constituent college of the University of St Andrews) and Heriot-Watt University. The first two years of the Scottish Master of Arts consist of ordinary Bachelor level courses, however, after these, students who are accepted to pursue the Honours route will complete more advanced subjects and write a dissertation in their fourth year. Students who instead choose to do a "general" degree will complete their third year at a lower level of specialisation, and receive a Bachelor of Arts (BA) or an MA without Honours. For the postgraduate degree referred to in other places as "Master of Arts", Scottish universities usually award the degree of Master of Letters (MLitt). Generally, non-ancient universities in Scotland (e.g. University of Strathclyde, The Robert Gordon University, University of the Highlands and Islands, etc.), award arts degrees as Bachelor of Arts.

M-94
The M-94 was a piece of cryptographic equipment used by the United States army, consisting of several lettered discs arranged as a cylinder. The idea for the device was conceived by Colonel Parker Hitt and then developed by Major Joseph Mauborgne in 1917. Officially adopted in 1922, it remained in use until 1945, replaced by more complex and secure electromechanical rotor machines, particularly the M-209. The M-94 was also employed by the US Navy under the name CSP 488.
The device consisted of 25 aluminium discs attached to a four-and-a-half inch long rod, each disc containing the 26 letters of the Roman alphabet in scrambled order around its circumference (with the exception of the 17th disc, which began with the letters "ARMY OF THE US"). Each wheel had a different arrangement of the alphabet, and was stamped with an identifying number and letter; wheels were identified according to the letter following "A" on that wheel, from "B 1" to "Z 25". The wheels could be assembled on the rod in any order; the ordering used during encoding comprised the key. There were 25! (25 factorial) = 15,511,210,043,330,985,984,000,000 (more than 15 septillion) possible keys, which can be expressed as about an 84-bit key size.

Mitt Romney presidential campaign, 2012
The 2012 presidential campaign of Mitt Romney, the 70th Governor of Massachusetts, was formally announced on June 2, 2011 at an event in Stratham, New Hampshire. Having previously run in the 2008 Republican primaries, Mitt Romney's campaign in the 2012 election was his second bid for the Presidency of the United States.
He filed his organization with the Federal Elections Commission as an exploratory committee and announced the organization in a video message on April 11, 2011. He became the party's presumptive nominee with his victory in the Texas primary on May 29, 2012.
On August 11, 2012, in Norfolk, Virginia, Romney announced that his running mate for vice president was Paul Ryan, the U.S. Congressman for Wisconsin's 1st congressional district.
On August 30, 2012, in Tampa, Florida, Romney formally accepted the Republican Party's nomination at the 2012 Republican National Convention.
Romney's campaign came to an end on November 6, 2012, upon defeat by incumbent President Barack Obama.

Microsoft Video 1
Microsoft Video 1 or MS-CRAM is an early lossy video compression and decompression algorithm (codec) that was released with version 1.0 of Microsoft's Video for Windows in November 1992. It is based on MotiVE, a vector quantization codec which Microsoft licensed from Media Vision. In 1993, Media Vision marketed the Pro Movie Spectrum, an ISA board that captured video in both raw and MSV1 formats (the MSV1 processing was done in hardware on the board).
Compression algorithm
Microsoft Video 1 operates either in a 8-bit palettized color space or in a 15-bit RGB color space. Each frame is split into 4×4 pixel blocks. Each 4×4 pixel block can be coded in one of three modes: skip, 2-color or 8-color. In skip mode, the content from the previous frame is copied to the current frame in a conditional replenishment fashion. In 2-color mode, two colors per 4×4 block are transmitted, and 1 bit per pixel is used to select between the two colors. In 8-color mode, the same scheme applies with 2 colors per 2×2 block. This can be interpreted as a 2-color palette which is locally adapted on either a 4×4 block basis or a 2×2 block basis. Interpreted as vector quantization, vectors with components red, green, and blue are quantized using a forward adaptive codebook with two entries.

Music (Erick Sermon and Marvin Gaye song)
"Music" is a 2001 hit single by Erick Sermon featuring archived vocals from Marvin Gaye.
The song was thought of by Sermon after buying a copy of Gaye's Midnight Love and the Sexual Healing Sessions album, which overlook some of the original album's earlier mixes. After listening to an outtake of Gaye's 1982 album track, "Turn On Some Music" (titled "I've Got My Music" in its initial version), Sermon decided to mix the vocals (done in a cappella) and add it into his own song. The result was similar to Natalie Cole's interpolation of her father, jazz great Nat "King" Cole's hit, "Unforgettable" revisioned as a duet. The hip hop and soul duet featuring the two veteran performers was released as the leading song of the soundtrack to the Martin Lawrence & Danny DeVito comedy, "What's the Worst That Could Happen?" The song became a runaway success rising to #2 on Billboard's R&B chart and was #1 on the rap charts. It also registered at #21 pop giving Sermon his highest-charted single on the pop charts as a solo artist and giving Gaye his first posthumous hit in 10 years following 1991's R&B-charted single, "My Last Chance" also bringing Gaye his 41st top 40 pop hit. There is also a version that's played on Adult R&B stations that removes Erick Sermon's rap verses. The song was featured in the 2011 Matthew McConaughey film The Lincoln Lawyer.

Voynich Paleography (Voynich2022 Conference Keynote)
By applying the principles of Latin Paleography to the writing system of the Voynich Manuscript (Beinecke Rare Book & Manuscript Library MS 408), it is possible to identify distinguishing features of individual scribes. This lecture explains the principles of Latin paleography and demonstrates how these principles can be profitably applied to the writing system of the Voynich Manuscript in order to 1) distinguish different scribal hands; 2) identify the scribal output of each hand; and 3) potentially identify abbreviations and ligatures in the writing system. I decided that for my alphabet the "th" sound shall be represented by placing a tilde (~) on top of the redrawn letter T. I’ve been thinking about redrawing T to look like thorn, so if I go down that route, the “th” sound will look like this: Þ̃þ̃. As for the "ng" sound, I think I'll go down the Latin route and use the equivalent of "n" followed by the equivalent of "g".

Latin or Roman script is a set of graphic signs (script) based on the letters of the classical Latin alphabet. This is derived from a form of the Cumaean Greek version of the Greek alphabet used by the Etruscans.
Several Latin-script alphabets exist, which differ in graphemes, collation, and phonetic values from the classical Latin alphabet.
The Latin script is the basis of the International Phonetic Alphabet, and the 26 most widespread letters are the letters contained in the ISO basic Latin alphabet.

Latin or Roman script is a set of graphic signs (script) based on the letters of the classical Latin alphabet. This is derived from a form of the Cumaean Greek version of the Greek alphabet used by the Etruscans.
Several Latin-script alphabets exist, which differ in graphemes, collation, and phonetic values from the classical Latin alphabet.
The Latin script is the basis of the International Phonetic Alphabet, and the 26 most widespread letters are the letters contained in the ISO basic Latin alphabet.

This lecture explains the principles of Latin paleography and demonstrates how these principles can be profitably applied to the writing system of the Voynich Manuscript in order to 1) distinguish different scribal hands; 2) identify the scribal output of each hand; and 3) potentially identify abbreviations and ligatures in the writing system. The Latin alphabet is used by more people, for more languages, and in more contexts than any other script in human history. This lecture explains the spread of the Latin alphabet and the linguistic consequences of transferring it to languages other than Latin, with a special focus on English spelling.
The lecture is delivered by Distinguished Professor Ingrid Piller as part of the postgraduate unit "Literacies" in Macquarie University's Applied Linguistics program.

The start of what could build up to be something grand. I announce my plans for redrawing the alphabet, and my motives for doing so, and begin by organizing the Latin alphabet plus three Cyrillic letters into what I’m calling a “simplified phonetic chart”.
At the end of the video, I mentioned how I realized that this chart excludes the "th" and "ng" sounds. The following outlines my plans for how I plan to represent these sounds in my alphabet:
I did some research and found that this is how these sounds are represented in all three major alphabets:
- Latin: For "th", the Latin alphabet has the letters thorn (Þþ) and eth (Ðð) used in Icelandic and a few old languages, but other than that the digraph “th” is used. And as far as I know, the "ng" digraph is relatively standard in modern languages that use the Latin alphabet.
- Cyrillic: Slavic language speakers don’t use these sounds. There are various conventions for what letter to transcribe "th" as—usually, the letter used is te (Тт) or ef (Фф). As for the "ng" sound the letter en (Нн) is used.
- Greek: Has the letter theta (ϴθ) specifically for the "th" sound. As for "ng", a double gamma (Γγ γγ) is used.
I decided that for my alphabet the "th" sound shall be represented by placing a tilde (~) on top of the redrawn letter T. I’ve been thinking about redrawing T to look like thorn, so if I go down that route, the “th” sound will look like this: Þ̃þ̃. As for the "ng" sound, I think I'll go down the Latin route and use the equivalent of "n" followed by the equivalent of "g".

Latin or Roman script is a set of graphic signs (script) based on the letters of the classical Latin alphabet. This is derived from a form of the Cumaean Greek version of the Greek alphabet used by the Etruscans.
Several Latin-script alphabets exist, which differ in graphemes, collation, and phonetic values from the classical Latin alphabet.

A digraph or digram from the Greek: δίς dís, "double" and γράφω gráphō, "to write" is a pair of characters used in the orthography of a language to write either a single phoneme distinct sound, or a sequence of phonemes that does not correspond to the normal values of the two characters combined
Digraphs are often used for phonemes that cannot be represented using a single character, like the English sh in ship and fish In other cases they may be relics from an earlier period of the language when they had a different pronunciation, or represent a distinction which is made only in certain dialects, like English wh They may also be used for purely etymological reasons, like rh in English Digraphs are used in some Romanization schemes, like the zh often used to represent the Russian letter ж As an alternative to digraphs, orthographies and Romanization schemes sometimes use letters with diacritics, like the Czech š, which has the same function as the English digraph sh

By applying the principles of Latin Paleography to the writing system of the Voynich Manuscript (Beinecke Rare Book & Manuscript Library MS 408), it is possible to identify distinguishing features of individual scribes. This lecture explains the principles of Latin paleography and demonstrates how these principles can be profitably applied to the writing system of the Voynich Manuscript in order to 1) distinguish different scribal hands; 2) identify the scribal output of each hand; and 3) potentially identify abbreviations and ligatures in the writing system. This is a list of digraphs used in various Latin alphabets. Capitalization involves only the first letter (ch – Ch) unless otherwise stated (ij – IJ).
Letters with diacritics are arranged in alphabetic order according to their base. That is, ⟨å⟩ is alphabetized with ⟨a⟩, not at the end of the alphabet as it would be in Norwegian, Swedish and Danish. Substantially modified letters such as ⟨ſ ⟩ (a variant of ⟨s⟩) and ⟨ɔ⟩ (based on ⟨o⟩) are placed at the end.
Apostrophe
⟨’b⟩ (capital ⟨’B⟩) is used in the Bari alphabet for /ɓ/.
⟨’d⟩ (capital ⟨’D⟩) is used in the Bari alphabet for /ɗ/.
⟨’y⟩ (capital ⟨’Y⟩) is used in the Bari alphabet for /ʔʲ/. It is also used for this sound in the Hausa language in Nigeria, but in Niger, Hausa ⟨’y⟩ is replaced with ⟨ƴ ⟩.
A
⟨a’⟩ is used in Taa orthography, where it represents the glottalized or creaky-voiced vowel /a̰/.
⟨aa⟩ is used in the orthographies of Dutch, Finnish and other languages with phonemic long vowels for /aː/. It was formerly used in Danish and Norwegian (and still is in some proper names) for the sound /ɔ/, now spelled ⟨å⟩.
