Flight dynamics
Flight dynamics is the study of the performance, stability, and control of vehicles flying through the air or in outer space. It is concerned with how forces acting on the vehicle influence its speed and attitude with respect to time.
In fixed-wing aircraft, the changing orientation of the vehicle with respect to the local air flow is represented by two critical parameters, angle of attack ("alpha") and angle of sideslip ("beta"). These angles describe the vector direction of airspeed, important because it is the principal source of modulations in the aerodynamic forces and moments applied to the aircraft.
Spacecraft flight dynamics involve three forces: propulsive (rocket engine), gravitational, and lift and drag (when traveling through the earths or any other celestial atmosphere). Because aerodynamic forces involved with spacecraft flight are very small, this leaves gravity as the dominant force.
Aircraft and spacecraft share a critical interest in their orientation with respect to the earth horizon and heading, and this is represented by another set of angles, "yaw," "pitch" and "roll" which angles match their colloquial meaning, but also have formal definition as an Euler sequence. These angles are the product of the rotational equations of motion, where orientation responds to torque, just as the velocity of a vehicle responds to forces. For all flight vehicles, these two sets of dynamics, rotational and translational, operate simultaneously and in a coupled fashion to evolve the vehicle's state (orientation and velocity) trajectory.

List auf Sylt (known as List until 31 December 2008) is the northernmost municipality in Germany, located on the North Sea island of Sylt close to Denmark in the district of Nordfriesland in the state of Schleswig-Holstein.
Etymology
List derived from the Middle Low German Liste (ledge, bar or edge).
History
List was originally a Danish settlement. It was first mentioned in 1292 (Lystum). The original village was destroyed by the great flood of 1364. The settlement was rebuilt further east from the previous location. In the mid-15th century, a church named St. Jürgen was mentioned. In a treaty of 1460, Schleswig and Holstein were linked to the Danish crown, but List remained part of the royal enclaves, small areas of the Kingdom of Denmark situated within the Duchy of Schleswig, but directly controlled by the Danish king.
From the 16th century, the people of List mostly made a living from Oyster farming, raising sheep and collecting and selling gull eggs. At the time, List was an important protective anchorage. In 1644, a Swedish-Dutch fleet of 26 ships commanded by Admiral Thijssen was attacked in the Lister Tief and defeated by Danish ships commanded by king Christian IV of Denmark. The anchorage north of today's town was named Königshafen to honour this event.

In computer science, a list or sequence is an abstract data type that represents an ordered sequence of values, where the same value may occur more than once. An instance of a list is a computer representation of the mathematical concept of a finite sequence; the (potentially) infinite analog of a list is a stream. Lists are a basic example of containers, as they contain other values. If the same value occurs multiple times, each occurrence is considered a distinct item.
The name list is also used for several concrete data structures that can be used to implement abstract lists, especially linked lists.
Many programming languages provide support for list data types, and have special syntax and semantics for lists and list operations. Some languages may allow list types to be indexed or sliced like array types, in which case the data type is more accurately described as an array. Area
Area is the quantity that expresses the extent of a two-dimensional figure or shape, or planar lamina, in the plane. Surface area is its analog on the two-dimensional surface of a three-dimensional object. Area can be understood as the amount of material with a given thickness that would be necessary to fashion a model of the shape, or the amount of paint necessary to cover the surface with a single coat. It is the two-dimensional analog of the length of a curve (a one-dimensional concept) or the volume of a solid (a three-dimensional concept).
The area of a shape can be measured by comparing the shape to squares of a fixed size. In the International System of Units (SI), the standard unit of area is the square metre (written as m2), which is the area of a square whose sides are one metre long. A shape with an area of three square metres would have the same area as three such squares. In mathematics, the unit square is defined to have area one, and the area of any other shape or surface is a dimensionless real number.

Area (LDS Church)
An area is an administrative unit of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church), which typically is composed of multiple stakes and missions. Areas are the primary church administrative unit between individual stakes and the church as a whole.
History
The areas as they now exist were formed in January 1984. Prior to that time, general authorities served as "area supervisors" and at times resided outside of Salt Lake City. In 1984, 13 initial areas were created; by 1992 there were 22, and by early 2007 there were 31. As of August 2012 there are 25 areas.
Administration
Until 2003, each area had a president and two counselors, all of whom were typically general authorities (area seventies were sometimes asked to be counselors). This three-man body was known as the area presidency. In that year, the church eliminated area presidencies for all areas located in the United States and Canada. Each of these areas were placed under the direct supervision of one of the seven members of the Presidency of the Seventy, thus freeing more general authorities from specific area assignments. Since these areas were previously administered by area presidencies located at church headquarters in Salt Lake City, the administrative change was not as drastic as it might seem.

Definition
For a drawing style in which the vertices are placed on the integer lattice, the area of the drawing may be defined as the area of the smallest axis-aligned bounding box of the drawing: that is, it the product of the largest difference in x-coordinates of two vertices with the largest difference in y-coordinates. For other drawing styles, in which vertices are placed more freely, the drawing may be scaled so that the closest pair of vertices have distance one from each other, after which the area can again be defined as the area of a smallest bounding box of a drawing. Alternatively, the area can be defined as the area of the convex hull of the drawing, again after appropriate scaling.
Polynomial bounds
For straight-line drawings of planar graphs with n vertices, the optimal worst-case bound on the area of a drawing is Θ(n2). The nested triangles graph requires this much area no matter how it is embedded, and several methods are known that can draw planar graphs with at most quadratic area.Binary trees, and trees of bounded degree more generally, have drawings with linear or near-linear area, depending on the drawing style. Every outerplanar graph has a straight-line outerplanar drawing with area subquadratic in its number of vertices, If bends or crossings are allowed, then outerplanar graphs have drawings with near-linear area. However, drawing series-parallel graphs requires an area larger than n by a superpolylogarithmic factor, even if edges can be drawn as polylines.

One of the biggest icebergs ever recorded has just broken away from Antarctica. The giant block is estimated to cover an area of roughly 6,000 sq km; that's about a quarter the size of Wales. An US satellite observed the berg on Wednesday while passing over a region known as the Larsen C Ice Shelf. Scientists were expecting it. They'd been following the development of a large crack in Larsen's ice for more than a decade. The rift's propagation had accelerated since 2014, making an imminent calving ever more likely. The more than 200m-thick tabular berg will not move very far, very fast in the short term. But it will need to be monitored. It was an experience to go to Western Newfoundland and Labrador in search of icebergs and whales in Iceberg Alley. This area typically sees over 1,000 icebergs yearly from late May to late June. The iceberg finder tracks the locations of icebergs spotted on any given day. Today, there were 33 drifting off the coast.
Dark Tickle Expeditions' knowledgeable guide, Mo, chased down three large icebergs and several smaller ones and found us a few humpback whales along with various sea birds, including an eagle.
We all agreed this was a memorable bucket list adventure.

In Newfoundland, iceberg water is used to produce Berg water, iceberg beer, Iceberg vodka, rum, and gin, as well as ice in cocktails and other beverages.

The giant block is estimated to cover an area of roughly 6,000 sq km; that's about a quarter the size of Wales.
An US satellite observed the berg on Wednesday while passing over a region known as the Larsen C Ice Shelf.
Scientists were expecting it. They'd been following the development of a large crack in Larsen's ice for more than a decade.
The rift's propagation had accelerated since 2014, making an imminent calving ever more likely.

There’s no doubt that the Forgotten Ancient Civilizations iceberg has made this channel what it is today, and I’m betting that you're watching this because you’ve seen my videos diving into it. I assure you, I’m still working on it, but I have a pretty short attention span so I’m the sorta guy that gets tired of working on only one thing pretty quickly. And I always want to explore new things, so a couple months ago I forged a new, jam-packed iceberg devoted to a fresh, dare I say exotic subject - OUT OF PLACE ARTIFACTS, also known as OOPARTS, as suggested by a few commenters. As you can probably guess, Out of Place Artifacts are artifacts that have been found where they shouldn’t hahyve been found, where you’d least expect them. That can be either geographically or temporally. Examples include a computer found on an ancient Greek shipwreck, a Roman sculpture from pre-Columbain Mexico, a human-made hammer embedded in rock from the Cretaceous, a Viking penny found in Maine and tons, tons more. So generally, they’re finds that are so extraordinary that their mere existence could dramatically alter how people view history/rewrite history. But a lot of these OOPARTs aren’t actually what they might appear to be or what they’ve been presented as.

Iceberg Alley is the best place to see icebergs.
It was an experience to go to Western Newfoundland and Labrador in search of icebergs and whales in Iceberg Alley. This area typically sees over 1,000 icebergs yearly from late May to late June. The iceberg finder tracks the locations of icebergs spotted on any given day. Today, there were 33 drifting off the coast.
Dark Tickle Expeditions' knowledgeable guide, Mo, chased down three large icebergs and several smaller ones and found us a few humpback whales along with various sea birds, including an eagle.
We all agreed this was a memorable bucket list adventure.
Did you know?
- Icebergs are made of ice up to 10,000 years old and come in all shapes and sizes.
- In 2011, the most enormous iceberg on record in the Northern Hemisphere, the Peterman Ice Island, drifted along the eastern Arctic coastline of Canada. This vast ice island calved from Peterman Glacier in Northwest Greenland.
- Icebergs are very unstable. As they move and melt, they can randomly roll over or break apart suddenly.
The size of an Iceberg can be deceiving. They are huge, but only 10% is visible above the water's surface.
- One of the tallest Atlantic icebergs was as tall as the Washington Monument at 550 ft (167.6 m).
According to Guinness World Records, the largest iceberg was spotted in 1956 and is estimated to have been 31,000 square kilometres (12,000 square miles), larger than the country of Belgium. This iceberg split from Antarctica's coast.
In Newfoundland, iceberg water is used to produce Berg water, iceberg beer, Iceberg vodka, rum, and gin, as well as ice in cocktails and other beverages.

One of the biggest icebergs ever recorded has just broken away from Antarctica.
The giant block is estimated to cover an area of roughly 6,000 sq km; that's about a quarter the size of Wales.
An US satellite observed the berg on Wednesday while passing over a region known as the Larsen C Ice Shelf.
Scientists were expecting it. They'd been following the development of a large crack in Larsen's ice for more than a decade.
The rift's propagation had accelerated since 2014, making an imminent calving ever more likely.
The more than 200m-thick tabular berg will not move very far, very fast in the short term. But it will need to be monitored. Currents and winds might eventually push it north of the Antarctic where it could become a hazard to shipping.

There’s no doubt that the Forgotten Ancient Civilizations iceberg has made this channel what it is today, and I’m betting that you're watching this because you’ve seen my videos diving into it. I assure you, I’m still working on it, but I have a pretty short attention span so I’m the sorta guy that gets tired of working on only one thing pretty quickly. And I always want to explore new things, so a couple months ago I forged a new, jam-packed iceberg devoted to a fresh, dare I say exotic subject - OUT OF PLACE ARTIFACTS, also known as OOPARTS, as suggested by a few commenters. As you can probably guess, Out of Place Artifacts are artifacts that have been found where they shouldn’t hahyve been found, where you’d least expect them. That can be either geographically or temporally. Examples include a computer found on an ancient Greek shipwreck, a Roman sculpture from pre-Columbain Mexico, a human-made hammer embedded in rock from the Cretaceous, a Viking penny found in Maine and tons, tons more. So generally, they’re finds that are so extraordinary that their mere existence could dramatically alter how people view history/rewrite history. But a lot of these OOPARTs aren’t actually what they might appear to be or what they’ve been presented as.

Flight dynamics
Flight dynamics is the study of the performance, stability, and control of vehicles flying through the air or in outer space. It is concerned with how forces acting on the vehicle influence its speed and attitude with respect to time.
In fixed-wing aircraft, the changing orientation of the vehicle with respect to the local air flow is represented by two critical parameters, angle of attack ("alpha") and angle of sideslip ("beta"). These angles describe the vector direction of airspeed, important because it is the principal source of modulations in the aerodynamic forces and moments applied to the aircraft.
Spacecraft flight dynamics involve three forces: propulsive (rocket engine), gravitational, and lift and drag (when traveling through the earths or any other celestial atmosphere). Because aerodynamic forces involved with spacecraft flight are very small, this leaves gravity as the dominant force.
Aircraft and spacecraft share a critical interest in their orientation with respect to the earth horizon and heading, and this is represented by another set of angles, "yaw," "pitch" and "roll" which angles match their colloquial meaning, but also have formal definition as an Euler sequence. These angles are the product of the rotational equations of motion, where orientation responds to torque, just as the velocity of a vehicle responds to forces. For all flight vehicles, these two sets of dynamics, rotational and translational, operate simultaneously and in a coupled fashion to evolve the vehicle's state (orientation and velocity) trajectory.
