How Israel became the most advanced country in agriculture
At the beginning of the nineteenth century, early settlers who decided to settle in the lands of Israel faced a huge challenge: how to farm in conditions of sweltering heat and minimal rainfall. The land was catastrophically barren, but the desire to make this area livable was much stronger. Thus, ways to develop agriculture without water and fertile soil have been found!
How exactly did Israel manage to become the capital of advanced technologies in this area? We will find out in this video on the Innovative Techs channel. Water scarcity has been and remains a problem that humanity has faced throughout history. But if earlier, a relatively small part of the world's population suffered from a lack of water, then in the last century this problem has reached a global scale.

How Israel Greened its desert in Becoming a World’s largest produce exporter
How Israel became the most advanced country in Agriculture in the Desert
Israeli area is composed of a desert, Israel began planning while taking this projection as seriously as possible. As a result, Israel is currently regarded as one of the top water and agricultural product providers.
Israel's agriculture has grown astoundingly due to the constant water supply. Israel manages $2 billion worth of agricultural sales each year, with an unexpectedly large portion of profits coming from fruits and vegetables. They created a method known as "Drip Irrigation" that increases agricultural yields while allowing water savings of 6%. This method applies water to the plant's root system drop by drop. Another technique called fertigation, which uses drip irrigation and fertilizers, enhances the drip irrigation process. Israeli automated desert agricultural technology was recently hailed by the American Society for Horticultural Sciences as "one of the most important developments in food production in the last 100 years."
Israel is using a mix of both tech and planning to achieve astounding results in agriculture. Israel's large and growing precision agriculture sector comprises more than 450 companies offering advanced data collection and analysis technologies for more efficient and productive farming. These companies help farmers integrate all their agricultural data from multiple sources, i.e., imaging, weather stations, in-field sensors, etc. Among these companies, a few perform accurate real-time tests of plant tissue, soil, and water in the field, dramatically reducing the standard analysis procedure from 10 days to less than an hour.
High-resolution aerial imaging with computer vision and artificial intelligence is being used to show farmers what's happening in their plots down to the insect and leaf level and analyze that data to provide decision-making support. Another issue that farmers need is a need for exporting logistics and support. Many companies across the country give farmers constantly updated regulatory guidelines on a single dashboard. For instance, if a customer wants to sell in Walmart, the app automatically applies the relevant US regulations to the growing plant. This system also helps farmers manage resources, administrative processes and daily functionality with calendars, checklists, reports, maps, and digital document storage. Farming cooperatives can use the platform to assist and manage member growers.
Along with agriculture, the aquaculture industry is growing an average of 6 percent annually to meet the ever-rising demand for fish and seafood. But, with more than half the fish consumed around the world grown on farms where fish are crowded into tanks and given massive amounts of antibiotics, hormones and pesticides, there's an urgent need for sustainable and healthful solutions for commercial fisheries. So Israeli tech geeks developed a plug‐and‐play all-in-one water treatment system for aquaculture. The system increases fish productivity, has a minimal ecological footprint, enhances water conditions, and significantly grows profitability. If you compare Israel's current and past satellite views, you will see a significant improvement. You can visually see more green belts than barren dunes. Following a roadmap that helped Israel turn its deserts into a farmland oasis is beneficial for Israel and an example for other countries to follow.

The field of computer science summarised. Learn more at this video's sponsor https://brilliant.org/dos
Computer science is the subject that studies what computers can do and investigates the best ways you can solve the problems of the world with them. It is a huge field overlapping pure mathematics, engineering and many other scientific disciplines. In this video I summarise as much of the subject as I can and show how the areas are related to each other.

A couple of notes on this video:
1. Some people have commented that I should have included computer security alongside hacking, and I completely agree, that was an oversight on my part. Apologies to all the computer security professionals, and thanks for all the hard work!
2. I also failed to mention interpreters alongside compilers in the complier section. Again, I’m kicking myself because of course this is an important concept for people to hear about. Also the layers of languages being compiled to other languages is overly convoluted, in practice it is more simple than this. I guess I should have picked one simple example.
3. NP-complete problems are possible to solve, they just become very difficult to solve very quickly as they get bigger. When I said NP-complete and then "impossible to solve", I meant that the large NP-complete problems that industry is interested in solving were thought to be practically impossible to solve.

This video will cover computer science careers and as well as different areas within computer science you can dive into. Computer science is a very broad and diverse field that includes software development, cryptography, cyber security, computer graphics, bioinformatics, and much more.
Although many people imagine a software developer when it comes to computer science, there are many more job titles you can have including security analyst, web developer, network systems administrator, etc.
Many of the jobs listed in this video have the highest employment and growth rate of most jobs on the bureau of labor statistics. This major and career path isn't necessarily for everyone, but it definitely is a good choice.
Lastly for many of the careers discussed in this video, you don't HAVE to have a degree in computer science to get into them. For some career paths you can have a degree in computer engineering, software engineering, information systems, and more. There are even people who are self taught and have landed software developer jobs. Be sure to keep an open mind, but hopefully this provides some insight.

This talk was given at a local TEDx event, produced independently of the TED Conferences. This persuasive talk shows how essential and easy it is to gain a basic understanding of computer science learning principles. Our world increasingly driven by technology and software, so we all need to know the creative, problem-solving power of computer science. This is especially important to students who will lead the way in our shared future. Learn how you can take the next step at http://code.org .
Hadi Partovi learned computer science so he could have games to play on the computer his father gave him (a Commodore 64) when he was 10 years old in Iran. Since then he has worked as computer programmer and also as an entrepreneur, investor, and as co-founder of Code.org, a nonprofit dedicated to growing computer science education in the US and worldwide. Hadi has been Microsoft’s Group Program Manager for Internet Explorer, was General Manager of MSN.com where he helped deliver 30% annual growth and MSN’s only year of profit. He was on the founding teams of Tellme and iLike. As an angel investor and startup advisor, Hadi’s portfolio includes Facebook, Zappos, Dropbox, airbnb, OPOWER, Flixster, Bluekai, TASER, and many others.
About TEDx, x = independently organized event In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)

What is Geography and its branches
What is geography? It is the study of Earth. Geography is divided into two important components - Human Geography and Physical Geography. It is from NCERT book and is important for IAS / CSE, Civil Service, SSC CGL, NDA, CDS exams.
Physical Geography contains :- There are mountains, hills, valleys, plains, plateaus, oceans, lakes, deserts and wilderness.
Human Geography contains :- social and cultural features.
So understanding of the relationship between the physical environment and social/cultural features is what we do in Geography.
The term geography was first coined by Eratosthenese, a Greek scholar (276-194 BC.). The word has been derived from two roots from Greek language geo (earth) and graphos (description).

Saturn vs Jupiter's magnetic field |science and geography|
The magnetic field of Jupiter is approximately twenty to thirty times stronger than that of Earth. Because of its size and great distance from the sun, Jupiter has a magnetosphere that is considerably larger than the magnetosphere of Earth. If we could see the Jovian magnetosphere from Earth, it would appear close to the size of the moon in the sky, despite our great distance from Jupiter.

Description:
This border is broken, and Chile and Argentina don’t seem likely to fix it anytime soon. While Chile’s shape is famously unusual, the real puzzle is its border with Argentina. On Google Maps, the border between the two looks normal—except for one glaring gap.
In 1998, both countries agreed on most of their border, but they left a 50-kilometer stretch in the Southern Patagonian Ice Field unresolved. This area is one of the largest non-polar ice masses in the world, and its rugged terrain, glaciers, and key water sources make it incredibly difficult to demarcate. Both nations claim parts of this disputed zone, and given its importance, the conflict doesn’t seem likely to end anytime soon.
Will this gap ever be resolved, or will it remain a geographic oddity? Watch to find out!

This border is broken, and Chile and Argentina don’t seem likely to solve it anytime soon. We all know Chile's shape is unusual, but its border with Argentina is even stranger. On Google Maps, the border between the two looks normal—except for this gap.
You see, in 1998, the countries agreed to most of the border... except for a small 50-kilometer stretch in the Southern Patagonian Ice Field. The Southern Patagonian Ice Field is one of the largest non-polar ice masses in the world, shared by Argentina and Chile. The region has been difficult to demarcate due to its rugged terrain, glaciers, and limited access.
This area remains in dispute, as it contains critical water sources and glaciers feeding key rivers like the Baker and Pascua in Chile, and the Santa Cruz River in Argentina. Since neither country is willing to make concessions, the conflict doesn’t seem likely to be resolved in the near future. So, you’ll probably continue to see this gap on maps for a long time to come.

Since neither country is willing to make concessions, the conflict doesn’t seem likely to be resolved in the near future. So, you’ll probably continue to see this gap on maps for a long time to come.

Here are 10 interesting and realistic careers you can pursue in Geography. I tried to include careers that appeal to a range of people: from conservationists to analysts and beyond.
