Double (cricket)
A cricketer is said to achieve the double if he scores a thousand or more runs and also takes a hundred or more wickets in first-class matches during the course of a single season. The feat is extremely rare outside England because of the smaller number of first-class matches played in most other countries. It has also become very uncommon in England in recent decades because of the reduction in the first-class programme in favour of more List A matches, last being achieved by Franklyn Stephenson in 1988.
Wilfred Rhodes performed the double more often than anyone else, 16 times. George Hirst achieved the feat on 14 occasions, including a unique "double double" in 1906 of 2385 runs and 208 wickets. Jim Parks senior managed the unique double of 3000 runs and 100 wickets in 1937. Maurice Tate, who scored 1193 runs and took 116 wickets during the MCC tour of India and Ceylon in 1926-27, is the only cricketer to achieve the feat outside England.
The "wicketkeeper's double", of one thousand runs and one hundred dismissals in a season, is very rare, having only been achieved by Les Ames, on three occasions, and by John Murray.

Referee
A referee is the person of authority in a variety of sports who is responsible for presiding over the game from a neutral point of view and making on-the-fly decisions that enforce the rules of the sport, including sportsmanship decisions such as ejection. The official tasked with this job may be known, in addition to referee, by a variety of other titles as well (often depending on the sport), including umpire, judge, arbiter, arbitrator, linesman, commissaire, timekeeper, touch judge or Technical Official (by the International Olympic Committee).
Origin
The term referee originated in association football. Originally the team captains would consult with each other in order to resolve any dispute on the pitch. Eventually this role was delegated to an umpire. Each team would bring their own partisan umpire allowing the team captains to concentrate on the game. Later, the referee, a third "neutral" official was added, this referee would be "referred to" if the umpires could not resolve a dispute. The referee did not take his place on the pitch until 1891, when the umpires became linesmen (now assistant referees). Today, in many amateur football matches, each side will still supply their own partisan assistant referees (still commonly called club linesmen) to assist the neutral referee appointed by the governing football association if one or both assistant referees are not provided. In this case, the role of the linesmen is limited to indicating out of play and cannot decide off side.

Sol Líneas Aéreas Flight 5428
Sol Líneas Aéreas Flight 5428 was a passenger flight which crashed in Prahuaniyeu, Río Negro Province, Argentina, on 18 May 2011. All 22 aboard died. The aircraft involved, a Saab 340A, was operating Sol Líneas Aéreas' scheduled domestic service from Ingeniero Aeronáutico Ambrosio L.V. Taravella International Airport, Córdoba, to General Enrique Mosconi International Airport, Comodoro Rivadavia, with stopovers at Governor Francisco Gabrielli International Airport, Mendoza, and Presidente Perón International Airport, Neuquén. The crash occurred on the final leg, with the aircraft coming down 25 kilometres (16 mi) south-west of the town of Los Menucos, Río Negro. A preliminary report suggests it was caused by severe icing of the airframe.
The flight crew declared an emergency at 8:50 pm (UTC−03:00). Local people located at around 2 kilometres (1.2 mi) away from the crash site saw an airplane flying extremely low. A few moments later they heard explosions and noticed black smoke coming from the ground, which suggested an accident had occurred. Firefighters arrived at the scene three hours later, finding no survivors. The black box was located the following day near the crash site. and retrieved on 20 May.

A manifold gauge, also known as a refrigeration gauge or HVAC gauge, is a tool used by HVAC technicians and refrigeration professionals to measure and monitor various parameters of a refrigeration or air conditioning system. It helps them assess the system's performance, diagnose issues, and ensure that the system is operating efficiently. The manifold gauge set consists of several components, including pressure gauges, hoses, and valves.
Here's how a manifold gauge works:
Pressure Gauges: The manifold gauge set typically includes two pressure gauges – a high-pressure gauge and a low-pressure gauge. These gauges display the pressure levels of the refrigerant within the system. The pressure is measured in pounds per square inch (PSI) or sometimes in bar units.
High-Pressure Gauge: This gauge measures the high side pressure of the refrigeration system, which is the pressure of the refrigerant as it exits the compressor and moves toward the condenser.

Hoses: The manifold gauge set comes with hoses that connect the pressure gauges to the corresponding pressure ports on the refrigeration system. The hoses are color-coded – blue for the low-pressure side and red for the high-pressure side. This helps prevent mix-ups and ensures correct connections.
Valves and Knobs: The manifold gauge set has several valves and knobs that allow the technician to control the flow of refrigerant and pressure within the system. These valves include:
High-Side Valve: Controls the flow of refrigerant between the high-pressure gauge and the high-pressure side of the system.
Low-Side Valve: Controls the flow of refrigerant between the low-pressure gauge and the low-pressure side of the system.
Service Valve: This valve is used to connect the manifold gauge set to the refrigeration system. It allows the technician to take pressure readings and perform various tasks without releasing refrigerant.
Operation: To use the manifold gauge set, the technician connects the hoses to the pressure ports on the system. They then open the service valves to allow the refrigerant to flow into the gauges. The pressure readings on the gauges give the technician insights into the operating conditions of the system.
If the pressure readings are too high, it might indicate overcharging or a problem with the condenser or expansion valve.
If the pressure readings are too low, it could indicate undercharging, a refrigerant leak, or an issue with the evaporator or compressor.
Temperature Conversion: In addition to pressure readings, some manifold gauge sets also include temperature scales. These scales allow technicians to convert pressure readings into corresponding temperatures for different refrigerants. This can be useful for diagnosing issues and ensuring proper system performance.
Remember that working with refrigerants can be hazardous, and proper training and safety precautions are essential when using a manifold gauge set. It's important to follow manufacturer guidelines and industry best practices to ensure both your safety and the proper functioning of the refrigeration or air conditioning system.

Few problems are worse than having a double-manifold failure deep inside an underwater cave. It's like flying on an airplane at 35,000 feet, through an awful storm and the horrific turbulence, and suddenly realize you are out of gas...can you somehow glide that plane to the ground and land it safely on a field somewhere? Maybe, chances are not great though!
That's how bad this was...a total nightmare for cave divers, and an unbelievable story!
