Theories of its origin vary. Pierre Galet believes it is a native Swiss variety.
In 1940, Chasselas was crossed with Silvaner to produce the white grape variety Nobling.
Wine regions
Widely grown in the cantons of Switzerland where it has several regional synonym names, the main one being Fendant in the Valais canton. It is considered an ideal pairing for raclette or fondue. Chasselas is also known as Perlan in the Mandement district of Geneva. In 2009, it was Switzerland's second most grown grape variety at 4,013 hectares (9,920 acres).
In Germany with 1,123 hectares (2,770 acres), it is almost exclusively grown in the wine region of Baden under the name Gutedel.
In France it is mostly grown in the Loire region where it is converted into a blend with Sauvignon blanc called "Pouilly-sur-Loire". California and Australian growers know this variety under the alias names of Chasselas Dore or Golden Chasselas.
Robinson (first name and dates unknown) was an Englishfirst-classcricketer for Middlesex who was active in the 1800s and is recorded in one match in 1801, playing for the Thursday Club and totalling 9 runs with a highest score of 6.

Robinson is a fell in the EnglishLake District, its southern slopes descending to Buttermere, while its northern side is set in the Newlands Valley. Paths lead to the summit from the village of Buttermere, from the nearby summit Dale Head and from various locations in the valleys to the north.
Name
According to influential guidebook author Alfred Wainwright, the name Robinson comes from a Richard Robinson who purchased estates in the Buttermere area many centuries ago. These included this unnamed hill which was then called "Robinson's Fell", later shortened to Robinson.
Topography
The North Western Fells occupy the area between the rivers Derwent and Cocker, a broadly oval swathe of hilly country, elongated on a north-south axis. Two roads cross from east to west, dividing the fells into three convenient groups. Robinson stands in the southern sector. The principal ridge in this group of fells runs east from Buttermere, climbing over Robinson, Hindscarth and Dale Head. It then turns north, descending gradually toward Derwentwater, the main tops being High Spy, Maiden Moor and Catbells.
The Robinson R44 is a four-seat light helicopter produced by the Robinson Helicopter Company since 1992. Based on the company's two-seat Robinson R22, the R44 features hydraulically assisted flight controls. The R44 was first flown on 31 March 1990, and received FAA certification in December 1992, with the first delivery in February 1993.
Design and development
The R44 is a single-engined helicopter with a semi-rigid two-bladed main rotor and a two-bladed tail rotor and a skid landing gear. It has an enclosed cabin with two rows of side-by-side seating for a pilot and three passengers. Tail rotor direction of rotation on the R44 is reversed compared to the R22 for improved yaw control authority. On the R44 the advancing blade is on the bottom.
Designed during the 1980s by Frank Robinson and his staff of engineers, the R44 first flew on 31 March 1990. The R44 Astro was awarded an FAAType Certificate in December 1992, with the first deliveries taking place in January 1993. In January 2000, Robinson introduced the Raven with hydraulically assisted controls and adjustable pedals. In July 2002, Robinson introduced the Raven II featuring a more powerful, fuel-injected engine and wider blades, allowing a higher gross weight and improved altitude performance.
The movie begins with Karen Powell (Diane Lane) going into labor during a costume party and being rushed to the hospital by her husband Brian (Brian Kerwin) and their friends. Although the delivery is successful, the baby is premature, born after only ten weeks of pregnancy, and is diagnosed with an exaggerated form of Werner syndrome (an aging disease) as stated by Dr. Benfante (Allan Rich) and Dr. Lin (Keone Young). According to them, as this very rare autosomal recessive disorder progresses, Jack Powell will age at a rate four times as fast as normal children due to his internal clock that seems to be developing faster.
Ten years later, Jack (Robin Williams) is next seen as a 10-year-old boy in the body of a 40-year-old man, with a group of four boys telling possible stories of a "monstrosity" of a boy their age that cannot go to school. He scares them away by dipping a fake eye into slime and throwing it at them from his window. He is extremely childish as a consequence of his secluded life. He has only had contact with his parents and tutor, Lawrence Woodruff (Bill Cosby), who introduces the idea that he should go to public school. His parents initially balk at the idea of their son going there because he could be emotionally hurt.
These are restricted to lowlands about 400m to 800m, requires rainfall. It is found rare in forests and abundant in marshy places. Grows up to 30m (100ft) tall with a dense crown of round-shaped leaves. The flowers are purple or pink, 0.7cm long with five sepals. The fruit is a large, edible, elliptical drupe 10–15cm (4–6in) long and 6–8cm (2–3in) wide. The skin is thin and brown with darker patches, and the flesh is yellow-white, mushy, and strongly odorous with an acid-sweet or sour taste. The binjai is believed to originate from the island of Borneo, but is commonly grown elsewhere for its edible fruit. The tree is one of the most common and valuable Mangifera species in western Malaysia, where it is cultivated extensively in orchards. It is also widely grown in Bali, Sumatra, and Borneo.
Jack magazine was initially published by I Feel Good (IFG) in 2002 in A5 format. With the tag "an orgy of war, animals, fashion, genius and cool", it featured glamorous photo shoots of women, reviews of clothing, gadgets etc. and articles by regular contributors and others by celebrities. As opposed to magazines like FHM, there was more space in the magazine given over to written articles and reviews than photo shoots to appeal to a more mature market. It was similar to the stance GQ magazine took, even though it was a publication that was often made fun of in Jack.
Decline
A change of ownership occurred in 2003 when IFG was bought by Dennis Publishing and a relaunch saw the magazine grow in size in November of that year. Despite this and special DVDs given away with the magazine, it was closed in August 2004 with fewer than 40,000 copies sold.

Chasselas from Alsace!?
Prior to my trip to the bottle shop, I had never heard of Chasselas before! I saw it and was like ok! Here we go! Chasselas is a grape variety that’s commonly found in Switzerland, but also in France (particularly Loire Valley), and Baden, Germany. In France, Chasselas is not taken particularly serious and has been largely removed from vineyards in Alsace and Loire. I think that I actually found one from Alsace is pretty special! The 2012 Schoffit comes from a small parcel of land with vines aged 70 years. I got this for around $15, fantastic value.
