We the People (Guitar Shorty album)
We the People is the seventh studio album released by blues guitarist Guitar Shorty (David Kearney). The album was released on August 15, 2006 on CD by the label Alligator Records. This is Shorty's second album with the label.
The album has been called "a timeless and completely current blues record." Reviewer Steve Leggett comments that "Shorty is a guitar player's guitar player, and this collection makes for a nice introduction to his studio style."

We the People (Flipsyde album)
We the People is the first studio album by Flipsyde, and the only album featuring DJ D-Sharp as an official member.
It was originally released on July 12, 2005. It was re-released with the additional track "Happy Birthday" later that year. A limited edition featuring five additional tracks was released in 2006 with an accompanying DVD. This DVD includes the music videos to "Someday", "Happy Birthday", and "Trumpets", as well as a live performance of "Flipsyde".

Someday was released on April 26, 2005. It was the first single from the album. The single Happy Birthday was released in late 2005, on the re-release of the album.

The Sunday People
The Sunday People is a British tabloid Sunday newspaper, founded as The People on 16 October 1881.
It is published by the Trinity Mirror Group, and shares a website with the Mirror papers. In July 2011 it had an average Sunday circulation of 806,544. By January 2014 the circulation had shrunk to 374,820. Despite its tagline claim to be a "truly independent" newspaper, The People endorsed the Labour Party at the 2015 general election on the recommendation of polling data from its readers.

The People (Common song)
"The People" is a song by American rapper Common, released as the second single of his seventh studio album Finding Forever. It made its first appearance on Kanye West's Can't Tell Me Nothing mixtape. The song features production by West and contains background vocals provided by soul singer Dwele. The original version of the song had Common singing the hook by himself, but this was later replaced with Dwele singing the hook. It contains samples of "We Almost Lost Detroit" by Gil Scott-Heron as well as vocal samples of "Long Red" by Mountain (the latter of which was sampled on Wouldn't Get Far featuring West). This action was part of West's intention to pay tribute to J Dilla through the production style expressed within the album.
Though it performed moderately on the charts, "The People" became one of the most critically acclaimed songs of the year. The song was listed at number twenty-nine on Rolling Stone's the 100 Best Songs of 2007. It also received a nomination for Best Rap Solo Performance at the 50th Grammy Awards.

The People (1891)
The People was an official organ of the Socialist Labor Party of America (SLP), a weekly newspaper established in New York City in 1891. The paper is best remembered as a vehicle for the ideas of Daniel DeLeon (1852–1914), the dominant ideological leader of the SLP from the 1890s until the time of his death. The paper became a daily in 1900, reverting to weekly publication in 1914 for budgetary reasons. Publication of the paper was moved to Palo Alto, California during its later years, finally terminating publication in 2008. Its 117 years of continuous publication make The People the longest running socialist newspaper in the history of American political radicalism.

Forerunners
The Workingmen's Party of the United States was established in August 1876, changing its moniker to the more familiar Socialist Labor Party of America at its "National Congress" held in the last days of 1877 in Newark, New Jersey. The members of the organization were predominantly immigrants from Germany throughout its earliest years, although the SLP did maintain 7 English-speaking Sections by the end of 1877.

Introduction (Marty Friedman album)
Introduction is the third studio album by guitarist Marty Friedman, released on November 8, 1994 through Shrapnel Records (United States) and Roadrunner Records (Europe).
Critical reception
Robert Taylor at AllMusic gave Introduction 4.5 stars out of 5, calling it "An unexpected masterpiece in a genre that could use more releases such as this." The album was described as having built on the formula set out in Friedman's previous album, Scenes (1992), but "with more maturity and musical diversity. Themes are not just introduced and abandoned in favor of gratuitous technical noodling, rather the compositions are thoughtfully explored and brought to a natural conclusion."
