Troop is an R&B group from Pasadena, California. The group has had five number one singles and ten top ten singles on the Billboard R&B Charts. They have also completed five albums, which include three certified gold and one certified platinum album. TROOP is an acronym for "Total Respect Of Other People". The group is most notable for a series of number-one R&B hits, including two popular cover versions of songs such as "All I Do Is Think of You" and "Sweet November", originally performed by the musical acts, The Jackson 5 and The Deele respectively. They also had a number-one hit with the original song "Spread My Wings".
Career
The group began in the late 1980s after they won a televised (Puttin' on the Hits) talent contest that later drew interest from record labels. Troop, consisting of childhood friends Steve Russell, Allen McNeil, John Harreld, Rodney Benford, Reggie Warren and signed to Atlantic Records and released their debut single Mamacita from their self-titled album in 1988. Mamacita reached Number 2 on the Billboard's R&B Charts.
Troop 41 is an American hip hop ensemble from Raleigh, North Carolina founded in 2005. The group consists of three members: T-Breezy, Lil Lee and Lil Inferno.
Career
Their 2010 single, "Do the John Wall," was originally released by KAIRIZMIC Music, whose artist management and marketing pushed the song to chart as a top 100 digital single on iTunes and in Billboard Magazine, peaking at number 76 on the Billboard Hot 100.Do the John Wall was later re-released on Universal Republic after successfully garnering the group a major recording contract due to charting on iTunes and Billboard Magazine, and receiving over ten million views on YouTube. Troop 41's Do the John Wall single was produced by Darius "DeeMoney Beatz" Lassiter, and Executive Produced by Sigh Griffin. The song is based on a Kentucky-based dance, and inspired by seeing NBAbasketball player John Wall performing the dance.
The group were described by SPIN as "a would-be Southern Pharcyde".
Boy is the debut album by Irish rock band U2. It was produced by Steve Lillywhite, and was released on 20 October 1980 on Island Records. Thematically, the album captures the thoughts and frustrations of adolescence. It contains many songs from the band's 40-song catalogue at the time, including two tracks that were re-recorded from their original versions on the band's debut release, the EPThree. Boy was recorded from March–September 1980 at Windmill Lane Studios in Dublin; it was their first time at the studio, which became their chosen recording location during the 1980s. It was also their first time working with Lillywhite, who subsequently became a frequent producer for the band's recorded work.
Boy included U2's first hit single, "I Will Follow". The album's release was followed by the group's first tour of continental Europe and the United States, the Boy Tour. The album received generally positive reviews from critics. It peaked at number 52 in the UK and number 63 in the US. In 2008, a remastered edition of Boy was released.
Boy (stylized BOY) is a Swiss/German pop duo founded in 2007 by Swiss singer Valeska Steiner and German bassist Sonja Glass. The two met while at a pop-music course at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg in 2005. The band initially played concerts exclusively, before being discovered and signed to Herbert Grönemeyer's label, Grönland Records, in 2011.
Their debut album, Mutual Friends (Gold-certified in Germany), was produced by Philipp Steinke and released in the autumn of 2011. The band sings entirely in English in a style reminiscent of that of Leslie Feist.
In the UK, Mutual Friends was released by Decca in June 2012. The North American release of the album is set for February 2013 on Nettwerk Records.

The duo's song "Little Numbers" was also featured in the Lufthansa Airline's Business Class advertisement in mid-2012. In 2013 the song was at No. 4 in the Japan Hot 100.

The term international was coined by the utilitarian philosopher Jeremy Bentham in his Introduction to Principles of Morals and Legislation, which was printed for publication in 1780 and published in 1789.
