The Integrity was a 220-ton merchant ship built at Redbridge, Southampton, England in 1824. She made two voyages transporting convicts from Mauritius to Australia. She was wrecked in the Torres Strait in August 1841.
Career
Under the command of John Pearson, she left Mauritius on 4 June 1837 with five military convicts, passengers and cargo. She sailed via Hobart Town on 9 August and arrived at Sydney on 17 August. One convict died on the voyage. Integrity sailed from Port Jackson, after refitting, on 12 January 1838, bound for Calcutta in ballast.
On her second convict voyage under the command of John Pearson, she left Mauritius on 18 April 1828 with three male convicts, passengers and cargo. She sailed via Hobart Town on 20 June arrived at Sydney on 5 July. No convicts died on the voyage. Integrity left Port Jackson on 20 November for New Zealand.
Fate
Integrity was lost in the Torres Strait on 22 August 1841 while on a voyage from Sydney to Singapore, under the command of John Pearson. The crew left in her long boat and were picked up by the Thomas Crisp.
A system is a set of interacting or interdependent component parts forming a complex/intricate whole. Every system is delineated by its spatial and temporal boundaries, surrounded and influenced by its environment, described by its structure and purpose and expressed in its functioning.
The term system may also refer to a set of rules that governs structure and/or behavior. Alternatively, and usually in the context of complex social systems, the term is used to describe the set of rules that govern structure and/or behavior.
Etymology
The term "system" comes from the Latin word systēma, in turn from Greekσύστημαsystēma: "whole compounded of several parts or members, system", literary "composition".
"System" means "something to look at". You must have a very high visual gradient to have systematization. In philosophy, before Descartes, there was no "system". Plato had no "system". Aristotle had no "system".
In the 19th century the French physicist Nicolas Léonard Sadi Carnot, who studied thermodynamics, pioneered the development of the concept of a "system" in the natural sciences. In 1824 he studied the system which he called the working substance (typically a body of water vapor) in steam engines, in regards to the system's ability to do work when heat is applied to it. The working substance could be put in contact with either a boiler, a cold reservoir (a stream of cold water), or a piston (to which the working body could do work by pushing on it). In 1850, the German physicist Rudolf Clausius generalized this picture to include the concept of the surroundings and began to use the term "working body" when referring to the system.
Since their inception, the band has released two studio albums and two live albums. The band released their debut self-titled album Overload in December, 2006. The album charted at the top in the local Pakistani music charts and singles from the album included instrumentals "Dhamaal", "Cursed" and "Storm". After the release of the album, Pappu Sain, regarded as the greatest dhol player in the world, left the band due to ill health and was replaced by Nasir Sain. In 2008, their single "Dhamaal" got nominated for the "Best Music Video" award at the Lux Style Awards. This was followed by the band releasing their second studio album, Pichal Pairee, in 2009. Although, the album released exclusively as a digital download album, and has not been released on any physical medium, it still topped the charts locally. Singles from the album, "Pichal Pairee", "Mela Kariyay" and "Dhol Bajay Ga!" [now known as Batti] were hits. In an online poll by Dawn News the band's video for their single, "Pichal Pairee", was voted as the third best music video of 2010.
A music video to accompany the release of "Overload" was first released onto YouTube on 8 May 2012 at a total length of three minutes and nine seconds.
Sections of the video were filmed in the Snowdonia National Park, around the Ogwen Valley and Nant Ffrancon area.
It was directed by a young British film-director called Quason Matthews.

Secrets of Mumbai’s Dockyards
Online talk by Cdr. Ninad Phatarphekar (Vet.)
Conducted on 23rd May, 2020
Hidden from view of the citizens of Mumbai is an industry which has been part of the city’s heritage almost since its inception in the late 17th century. Shipbuilding and ship-repair have flourished in the city for close to three centuries and continue to do so. Behind the high walls of the Naval Dockyard and the Mazagon Dock lies a little-known factoid - over 600 ships and vessels have been built, a singular achievement for any city. On our Online Talk #SilverNail, Cdr. Ninad Phatarphekar (Vet.) takes us on a sail through the history of shipbuilding in Mumbai, covering the era of the sailing-ships (1735 - 1840).
About the speaker:
Cdr. Ninad Phatarphekar (Vet.) is an electrical engineer and MBA by training and a history maven by passion. He has served with the Indian Navy and Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Ltd, and was part of the curatorial and research team that set up ‘Dharohar’, the Heritage Gallery at Mazagon Dock. Dharohar showcases the histories of Mumbai city and the shipbuilding industry in Mumbai and traces how closely they are intertwined.
