I Love You (stylized I Love You.) is the debut studio album by American indie rock band The Neighbourhood, which was released worldwide on April 22, 2013.
Background
The tracks on this album expresses a series of angst-ridden themes based on both the vibe and lyrical content of the songs. Bryan Sammis explained to Coup De Main magazine: "I think that at least in terms of the musical aspect of it, all of us try and get our own emotions out through our instruments, which is not always the easiest thing to do. I think for Jesse Rutherford lyrically, what I really like about him and about us as a band is that a lot of his lyrics aren't necessarily pre-ordained, because he's not trying to force it. A lot of his lyrics are off the top of his head when he first hears the song, because that makes it more natural, it's legitimately what he is thinking about and how he is feeling when he hears that song."
Richard Donnell Ross (born January 26, 1960), known as "Freeway" Rick Ross, is an American author and convicted drug trafficker best known for the drug empire he established in Los Angeles, California, in the early to mid 1980s.
Ross has said that when he first saw crack-cocaine as a teenager in 1979, he did not immediately believe it was a drug because it looked different from other drugs he had seen.
The nickname Freeway came from Ross' owning properties along the Los Angeles Harbor Freeway and living next to the 110. According to an October 2013 Esquire magazine article, "Between 1982 and 1989, federal prosecutors estimated, Ross bought and resold several metric tons of cocaine. In 1980 Ross' gross earnings were said to be in excess of $900 million – with a profit of nearly $300 million. Converted roughly to present-day dollars: 2.5 billion gross, and $850 million in profit, respectively.” During the height of his drug dealing, Ross was said to have sold "$3 million in one day." According to the Oakland Tribune, "In the course of his rise, prosecutors estimate that Ross exported several tons of cocaine to New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania and elsewhere, and made more than $600 million between 1983 and 1984."
Richard Alexander "Ricky" Ross (born 22 December 1957) is a Scottish singer-songwriter and broadcaster. He is the lead singer of the rock band Deacon Blue.
Biography
Ross was born in Dundee, Scotland, in 1957 and attended the High School of Dundee, an independent school. Before the formation of Deacon Blue, he released a solo album So Long Ago, on the Glasgow independent label Sticky Records. After the band's break-up in 1994, Ross resurrected his solo career and Epic released his second solo album What You Are in 1996. As Ross's first solo album So Long Ago was a minor release on a relatively minor label, What You Are became his first solo release on a major label and as such is generally regarded as his debut solo album for a major label, notwithstanding any current or future projects on either category of label. Or release.
Ross released another album, New Recording, on his own label in 1997.
After Deacon Blue's reunion in 1999 and the release of their Walking Back Home and Homesick albums, Ross entered into a new publishing deal with Warner Chappell UK, and released another solo album, This Is the Life, through Chrysalis Records's short-lived Papillion label, in 2002. Papillion had released Deacon Blue's Homesick album the previous year.

Album to be released on CD, vinyl and digitally on September 15th, 2017 on earMUSIC.
The album was recorded over two days at Chameleon Studios in Hamburg and had its sumptuous strings and choir added back in Glasgow. It finds Ricky Ross playing brand new songs, revisiting well-known Deacon Blue tracks and other less well known songs from throughout his 30 year career as one of Britain’s best loved songwriters.
The idea of the album will be further developed on the just announced extensive Autumn tour, with Ricky at the piano, playing special venues across the UK, Ireland, Germany and The Netherlands, presenting his songs and telling stories about what has influenced his songwriting from across his entire career.
For the first time tickets for the tour are available to buy alongside the album and doing so unlocks an exclusive, limited edition, numbered 7" vinyl containing a new recording of the Deacon Blue classic 'Raintown' recorded with a beautiful backing choir, along with a brand new track 'The Soldier’s Song'. Both recordings are only available on the limited 7" vinyl on https://rickyross.tmstor.es/.
In Ricky's own words: "This album is like a souvenir of my solo shows, which are a very different beast to Deacon Blue live. They're intimate, minimal, a chance for me to revisit songs that started out life with just piano and vocals and take them back to their roots, as well as play some new songs inspired by recent times."

Them niggas only ballin when they album drop
I gotta line of cars wrap around the block
And living better than these rappers rappin around the clock
I built a golf course and a car porch
since everybody askin where your cars going
Mozzarella now its only tall cheddar
Most dope boys been a Paul bearer
Package the product then you pick it up at the Bahamas
Talkin them dollars how I touch it Come off as a profit
You leave ya pistol home then you on ya own
Cause lil one when its on they gon do ya wrong
See you nodding off on that fentanyl
If you not a boss boy don’t get involved (On God)
[Hook]
Life full of VVS Diamonds and bad choices
Young nigga dreaming bout tech nines and porches
It’s cold I keep my hoodie on
Glock 4-5 ready to get my boogie on
You pussy niggas panties showin’
My bitch say I talk in my sleep
I start park drive and put it in reverse wit my heat
Pistol taklkin back I think I heard it cursin at me
It say you better not fuck a bitch or write a verse without me (on God)
The streets left me scared nigga I’m bleedin but its concrete showing
So the karma don’t catch up wit me I keep going
Better come and get ya bitch cause she going (she on go)
this that straight drop straight drop
All these other niggas rerock
Call my nine Jada she kissin’ nigga d-block
Know some nigga out on the west they reppin tree top
These niggas still talkin like bitches I pray that shit stop
Ion wanna here ya opinion about whats hip hop
30 hanging off of my bridges nigga that’s hip-hop (On God)
[Hook]
They callin it Pandemic when it’s really life
The only way to separate the men and mice
Until you seen success you considered roguish
That’s why you see that nigga pull up in a lotus
He got the 40 on him up against his colon
Standin in the club and know them niggas rollin
We all gotta purpose and my people servin
All got some work in and I’m speaking murders
Still be countin funds until my fingers purple
Praying for ya mother but’ll still hurt ya
Smokin on a bag that I got from Berner
The bottles all black and that bitch a earner
Soldiers waving flags when they see the colonel
If you see the flash, then it don’t concern ya (on God)
