A board game is a tabletop game that involves counters or pieces moved or placed on a pre-marked surface or "board", according to a set of rules. Games can be based on pure strategy, chance (e.g., rolling dice), or a mixture of the two, and usually have a goal that a player aims to achieve. Early board games represented a battle between two armies, and most modern board games are still based on defeating opposing players in terms of counters, winning position, or accrual of points (often expressed as in-game currency).
There are many varieties of board games. Their representation of real-life situations can range from having no inherent theme (e.g., checkers), to having a specific theme and narrative (e.g., Cluedo). Rules can range from the very simple (e.g., Tic-tac-toe), to those describing a game universe in great detail (e.g., Dungeons & Dragons) – although most of the latter are role-playing games where the board is secondary to the game, serving to help visualize the game scenario.
Tycoon was an ITVreality television show, based on the existing Peter Jones/Simon Cowell production American Inventor, which began on 19 June 2007 at 9.00pm. It was fronted by Peter Jones, who searched for entrepreneurs with ideas that he helped turn into profit-making companies. The winner was chosen by the public. The entrepreneurs were competing for support from Peter Jones and the other companies' profits. The series also included a viewers' competition in which 25% of the winning company's shares were divided between 2,000 viewers.
After two weeks Tycoon was pulled from its slot at 9pm on Tuesday night due to disappointing ratings. After missing a week, the series returned on Monday 9 July at 10pm, cut from one hour to 30 minutes and reduced from six episodes to five.
The final of Tycoon took place on Monday 23 July on ITV, with Kate Thornton as host. Iain Morgan was announced the winner of the series.
Entrepreneurs and their products

After the commercial success of his previous single Show Me, Kid Ink linked up with recording artistChris Brown to work on a song with songwriting and production team The Featherstones. At first the song was displayed as "track 5" on the iTunes Store album pre-order before it was released commercially as a single.
Music video
An animated music video was uploaded to Vevo June 9, 2015.
The hotel is in financial trouble. Hotel manager Peter McDermott (Rod Taylor) involves himself in the overtures of two different buyers. He also takes a romantic interest in Jeanne Rochefort (Catherine Spaak), an upper-classFrench guest, and deals with a wide range of routine problems, including a faulty elevator.
Jeanne is the traveling companion of one of the buyers, Curtis O'Keefe (Kevin McCarthy). He intends to renovate and "modernize" the hotel, with conveyor belts carrying luggage automatically around the building like it were some sort of modern airport terminal, and even presenting the customer's bill on a conveyor belt. That was O'Keefe's vision for a hotel of the future, but his immediate plans for the St.Gregory were different: He would remove the fountain in the center of the lobby and replace it with a circular news stand and bookstore; he would remove the comfortable lobby seating, forcing guests to go to a restaurant or lounge and spend money to sit; he would change the mezzanine promenade with rows of little shops; and he would convert the great suites into smaller guest rooms.
Hotel is an Americanprime time drama series which aired on ABC from September 21, 1983, to May 5, 1988, in the timeslot following Dynasty.
Based on Arthur Hailey's 1965 novel of the same name (which had also inspired a 1967 feature film), the series was produced by Aaron Spelling and set in the elegant and fictitious St. Gregory Hotel in San Francisco (changed from the New Orleans setting of the novel and film). Establishing shots of the hotel were filmed in front of The Fairmont San Francisco atop the Nob Hill neighborhood. Episodes followed the activities of passing guests, as well as the personal and professional lives of the hotel staff.
Premise
Rich aristocrat Victoria Cabot (Anne Baxter) ran the St. Gregory Hotel, assisted by general manager Peter McDermott (James Brolin) and his staff. McDermott and assistant general manager Christine Francis (Connie Sellecca) became romantically involved. Halfway through the series Cabot died, leaving McDermott her share of the St. Gregory Hotel. When McDermott inherited half of the St. Gregory, he ran the hotel and promoted Francis to general manager.

Pac-Man The Board Game From Buffalo Games — A Nice Gift Idea
Pac-Man has already made an appearance on Twelve Days of Christmas Playlist. Why is Pac-Man appearing again? Well, the Arcade1Up Pac-Man HDMI Game Console was an affordable alternative to a much more expensive arcade machine. With such savings, $15.18 for a Pac-Man Board Game was a fun splurge.
While I vaguely remember the marble based game from the 1980s, the more recent version from Buffalo Games is an excellent modernization of the classic board game. It's also really cute. Pac-Man is the centerpiece of this board game and Buffalo Games did a nice job with it. The little yellow figurine makes that classic munching sound. Adorable!
There are some minor issues, which is covered in the review. But overall, this is a fun board game.

RULES:
The object of the game is to have the most points at the end. Give each player a player board, which they flip so the colored wall is faceup. Each player places a scoring marker on 0 of their scoring track. Place the round factory displays in a circle on the table. 5 for 2 players, 6 for 3 players, or 7 for 4 players. Fill the bag with all the colored tiles, mix them up, then randomly put 4 tiles on each factory display. Pick a player to go first, and they take the starting player marker, then play proceeds clockwise.
There are 3 phases in each round: the factory offer, the wall-tiling, preparing the next round.
During the factory offer, the starting player places the starting player marker in the center of the table and takes the first turn. On your turn, you must pick tiles in one of the following ways. Pick all tiles of the same color from any single factory display then remove all the remaining tiles to the center of the table. Or you may pick all the tiles of the same color from the center of the table. If you are the first player to take tiles from the center, then you also take the starting player marker and place it onto the leftmost available space of your floor line.
After you pick tiles, you then place all the tiles you picked to one of the pattern lines from right to left. You may not add tiles of a different color to a pattern line that already has tiles. If you pick up more tiles than will fit on the pattern line, then all extra tiles are placed from left to right on the floor line. Once all spaces of a pattern line are filled, that line is considered complete. In future rounds, you may not place tiles of a color whose corresponding line on your wall is already filled.
Any tiles you pick up that you cannot place on your pattern line, or you don’t want to place on your pattern line, must be placed on your floor line filling the empty spaces from left to right. If all spaces on your floor line are filled, then put the extra in the lid of the box. Players continue taking turns picking tiles until all the tiles in the center and all factory displays are gone.
Now, all players simultaneously score points by moving 1 tile from each of their filled pattern lines, from top to bottom, directly over to its matching wall space, then moving the rest of the tiles from that pattern line to the lid of the box. Each time you move a tile you score points immediately on your score track as follows: a tile that has no other orthogonally adjacent tiles to it scores 1 point. If there are 1 or more tiles horizontally linked to the moved tile, then count all these linked tiles, including the moved tile, and gain that many points. Then do the same with any vertically linked tiles. A moved tile that simultaneously links horizontally and vertically will be counted twice.
Any remaining tiles on incomplete pattern lines remain where they are and do not score, nor are they removed. After completing your move to the wall, you then calculate your penalty for all the tiles on your floor, if any. Subtract the indicated points for each tile and starting player marker. You may not have less than 0 points, even if your penalty would take you lower. Move all your floor tiles to the lid of the box, but the player with the starting player marker moves that to the table in front of them instead.
If no player has a horizontal row of 5 consecutive tiles in their wall, then play another round. If you run out of tiles in the bag, refill it with all the tiles from lid of the box. If the lid has no more tiles, then begin the round without all the factory displays being filled back to 4.
If a player does have a row of 5 consecutive horizontal tiles in their wall, then after the scoring phase, the game ends immediately and each player scores bonus points based on tiles in their wall as follows: 2 points for each complete horizontal line of 5 tiles; 7 points for each complete vertical line of 5 tiles; and 10 points for each color of which you have placed all 5 tiles. The player with the most points wins. If there is a tie, then the tied player with the most horizontal completed rows wins. Still a tie, then the tied players win together.
For a slightly different game, flip over your player board and each player has an unmarked wall. Players can put the colors wherever they want so long as each row and column only has each color one time. If you run into a situation where...

It's so typical and often statistical You thought it was over and then you've done a U-turn Back to where you started Snake and ladders / game has started Roll the dice, take that chance [yeah] One step forward / three steps back You want to be saved [yeah, yeah, yeah] Back to square one, And you want to know why nothings getting done Spin the wheel / pick a number Put one foot in front of the other Don't pass go / lose a turn You're out of the game Past the point of no return One step forward / three steps back You want to be saved [yeah, yeah, yeah] Back to square one And you want to know why nothings getting done Back to square one Back to square one
