Hodgkin’s lymphoma - Hodgkin’s Disease - Reed-Sternberg Cell - Hematology and Oncology -Enlarged, Painless Lymph Node!
Lymphoid malignancies are divided into leukemias, lymphomas, and myeloma.
We divide lymphomas into Hodgkin's lymphoma and Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.
Hodgkin's lymphoma commonly affects the cervical and anterior mediastinal lymph nodes.
All things being equal, the prognosis of Hodgkin's lymphoma is better than that of Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.
Hodgkin's lymphoma is associated with EBV.
There is contiguous spread among adjacent lymph nodes.

Hodgkin Lymphoma Staging: From Diagnosis to Prognosis
Staging Hodgkin lymphoma is an important step in figuring out where the cancer is or has spread. It also helps doctors determine the best treatment plan. The most commonly used staging system for Hodgkin lymphoma is the Ann Arbor staging system, which classifies the cancer into four stages based on where the cancer is. Hodgkin lymphoma can be classified as stage 1, stage 2, stage 3 and stage 4.
Top Hodgkin lymphoma specialist, Dr. Matthew Matasar with Rutgers Cancer Institute, breaks down how PET and CT scans are used to determine the extent of the disease.

Non Hodgkin's lymphoma | Spot it Early | Cancer Research UK
What is non-Hodgkin lymphoma?
Lymphoma means cancer of the lymphatic system.
The lymphatic system is a system of thin tubes and lymph nodes that run throughout the body. Lymph nodes are bean shaped glands. The thin tubes are called lymph vessels or lymphatic vessels. Tissue fluid called lymph circulates around the body in these vessels and flows through the lymph nodes.
The lymphatic system is an important part of our immune system. It plays a role in fighting bacteria and other infections. And it tries to destroy old or abnormal cells, such as cancer cells.
