In user interface design, a mode is a distinct setting within a computer program or any physical machine interface, in which the same user input will produce perceived different results than it would in other settings.
The best-known modal interface components are probably the Caps lock and Insert keys on the standard computer keyboard, both of which put the user's typing into a different mode after being pressed, then return it to the regular mode after being re-pressed.
An interface that uses no modes is known as a modeless interface. Modeless interfaces intend to avoid mode errors by making it impossible for the user to commit them.
"An human-machine interface is modal with respect to a given gesture
when (1) the current state of the interface is not the user's locus of
attention and (2) the interface will execute one among several
different responses to the gesture, depending on the system's current
state." (Page 42).
MODE32 is a software product originally developed by Connectix for certain models of the Apple Macintosh. It was published in 1991 and originally cost $169, however on September 5, 1991, the software was made available free to customers under licensing terms with Apple Computer.
Overview
MODE32 effectively removes a ROM flaw in certain models of early 68020 and 68030Apple Macintosh computers (see below), which were advertised by Apple to be 32-bit. Despite the machines' hardware being designed to accommodate for this, the lack of a 32-bit Memory Manager in ROM forced these machines to run in 24-bit mode, which crippled these otherwise high-end machines to support only 8 MB of RAM. Customer dissatisfaction likely prompted the licensing agreement with Connectix.
The software runs as a control panel in Macintosh System 7, enabling the 32-bit addressing option of the operating system. The option can be found in the memory control panel when MODE32 is enabled. Otherwise the option is not displayed.
The movie begins with Karen Powell (Diane Lane) going into labor during a costume party and being rushed to the hospital by her husband Brian (Brian Kerwin) and their friends. Although the delivery is successful, the baby is premature, born after only ten weeks of pregnancy, and is diagnosed with an exaggerated form of Werner syndrome (an aging disease) as stated by Dr. Benfante (Allan Rich) and Dr. Lin (Keone Young). According to them, as this very rare autosomal recessive disorder progresses, Jack Powell will age at a rate four times as fast as normal children due to his internal clock that seems to be developing faster.
Ten years later, Jack (Robin Williams) is next seen as a 10-year-old boy in the body of a 40-year-old man, with a group of four boys telling possible stories of a "monstrosity" of a boy their age that cannot go to school. He scares them away by dipping a fake eye into slime and throwing it at them from his window. He is extremely childish as a consequence of his secluded life. He has only had contact with his parents and tutor, Lawrence Woodruff (Bill Cosby), who introduces the idea that he should go to public school. His parents initially balk at the idea of their son going there because he could be emotionally hurt.
Jack (died 1890) was a chacma baboon, who attained a measure of fame for acting as an assistant to a disabled railroad signalman in South Africa.
History
Jack was the pet and assistant of paraplegic signalman James Wide, who worked for the Cape Town-Port Elizabeth Railway service. James "Jumper" Wide had been known for jumping between railcars prior to an accident where he fell and lost both of his legs. To assist in performing his duties, Wide purchased the baboon named "Jack" and trained him to push his wheelchair and to operate the railways signals under supervision.
An official investigation was initiated after a concerned member of the public reported that a baboon was observed changing railway signals at Uitenhage near Port Elizabeth.
After initial skepticism, the railway decided to officially employ Jack once his job competency was verified. The baboon was paid twenty cents a day, and a half-bottle of beer each week. It is widely reported that in his nine years of employment with the railroad, Jack never made a mistake.
Dr. Jack Shephard is a fictional character and the protagonist of the ABC television series Lost, played by Matthew Fox. Lost follows the journey of the survivors of Oceanic Airlines flight 815 on a mysterious island and their attempts to survive and escape, slowly uncovering more of the much broader island history they are a part of. The character was originally conceived by creator J. J. Abrams, though the direction of storylines owes more to co-creator Damon Lindelof and fellow showrunnerCarlton Cuse. J.J. Abrams, the creator of Lost, once told Entertainment Weekly, "Jack Shephard may be the greatest leader in any television series." Actor Matthew Fox would have some influence on the character during the course of the series' production. For example, Fox's own tattoos were incorporated into the character's backstory. Although at an early stage in the show's development, the character was originally intended to die in the pilot, the writers soon changed this plan, and Jack became the show's main character from its pilot episode onwards.

Hey is a Polishrock band founded in Szczecin in 1991 by guitarist Piotr Banach and lead singer Kasia Nosowska. It is one of the most popular Polish music acts of the 1990s.
Although Hey sometimes described themselves as the first Polish grunge band, their melodic, guitar-driven rock and eclectic appearance owed more to new wave and heavy metal influences; their first three albums contained songs in both Polish and English. During the band's mid-1990s heyday, they sold out stadiums throughout Poland, and attempted to break into the English-language market with a series of concerts overseas and an English version of their 1995 album ?. When this failed to arouse interest, the band began to write in Polish only, and gradually adopted a harder-edged, more industrial-influenced sound. Overall, the band has sold over 2.2 million album copies.
In addition, Nosowska has also enjoyed a successful career as a solo artist. She has released six solo albums that derive more from an electronica style.

First Test of Isolated Digital Mode Radio to Computer Interface
This is my video of my first test... and to save you the suspense it was successful. HOORAY right? Sorry about the quality, it is the first video and I wanted to upload it fast and it appears that the quality suffers from the compact size of the upload file. This my first step towards getting a completely DC operated mobile digital mode setup, right now I am just getting the interfaces to work, then I will plan out what radios I have will do what. This test was done using my own interface (not the design although I started substituting some components after frying their predecessors) a DC powered desktop, a cheap USB to serial adapter, a cheap USB sound card, a FT-2500M 2 meter radio, and a HT for listening in. The software used was AGW packet engine, and WinPack.

One of my favourite parts from one of my all time favourite movies. The movie Jack is about a 10 year old boy who is in the 5th grade but has a disease that causes him to age rapidly as he is age 10 he looks like a 40 year old man. He starts out being locked away in his home by his parents since they are very protective of Jack and they are scared to let him outside into the real world cause of how different he is but soon later he starts attending school and meets a group of friends. This is such a sad and powerful movie one that I could watch over and over again if I get enough likes and comments I will happily post up the full movie enjoy!

This is my video of my first test... and to save you the suspense it was successful. HOORAY right? Sorry about the quality, it is the first video and I wanted to upload it fast and it appears that the quality suffers from the compact size of the upload file. This my first step towards getting a completely DC operated mobile digital mode setup, right now I am just getting the interfaces to work, then I will plan out what radios I have will do what. This test was done using my own interface (not the design although I started substituting some components after frying their predecessors) a DC powered desktop, a cheap USB to serial adapter, a cheap USB sound card, a FT-2500M 2 meter radio, and a HT for listening in. The software used was AGW packet engine, and WinPack.

In user interface design, a mode is a distinct setting within a computer program or any physical machine interface, in which the same user input will produce perceived different results than it would in other settings.
The best-known modal interface components are probably the Caps lock and Insert keys on the standard computer keyboard, both of which put the user's typing into a different mode after being pressed, then return it to the regular mode after being re-pressed.
An interface that uses no modes is known as a modeless interface. Modeless interfaces intend to avoid mode errors by making it impossible for the user to commit them.
"An human-machine interface is modal with respect to a given gesture
when (1) the current state of the interface is not the user's locus of
attention and (2) the interface will execute one among several
different responses to the gesture, depending on the system's current
