Prior to three years ago, profits from the sale of tickets were sufficient to cover the cost of ride maintenance and repairs ... Parker Ferris wheel , which was recently rebuilt, and the 1928 Herschell-Spillman carousel ... It could also be counterproductive.

In 2003 , the Olcott Beach Carousel Park opened after the restoration of the carousel roundhouse and the acquisition of a 1928 Herschell-Spillman carousel as well as five 1940s-50s kiddie rides, one of which was originally from Olcott.
