Guardians(ガーディアンズ), also known as Denjinmakai II(電神魔傀II), is a side-scrolling beat 'em up developed by Winkysoft and published by Banpresto that was exclusively released as a coin-operated arcade game in 1995 as the successor of the 1994 arcade game Denjinmakai.
Gameplay
Guardians can be played by up to two players simultaneously. Health gauges are displayed for both player and enemy characters, while energy bars are displayed for special moves.
The controls for Guardians consist of an eight-way joystick and two buttons for attacking and jumping respectively. Pressing the attack button repeatedly when attacking an enemy or multiple enemies will cause the player character to perform a combo. The final blow of the combo can be changed to a throw if the player moves the joystick in the opposite direction just before landing it. The player also can perform a jump attack. When two players play, they can perform team-based special moves.
Enemies can be grabbed simply by walking into one of them. When an enemy is grabbed, the player can perform a grab attack by pressing the attack button or perform a throw by tilting the joystick left or right. A thrown enemy can be tossed at another for additional damage. Items such as weapons, health recovery items, and items awarding extra points can be picked up by standing over one and pressing the attack button. Weapons have limited uses and will disappear if the player is disarmed by an enemy too much or when the player moves to a new area.
The team first appeared in the partial reprint title Marvel Super-Heroes with issue #18 (Jan. 1969), written by Arnold Drake and penciled by Gene Colan. They appeared sporadically in several Marvel titles, such as Marvel Two-In-One #4–5 (July–Sept. 1974) and Giant Size Defenders #5 and Defenders #26–29 (July–Nov. 1975). In each case, other heroes such as Captain America, the Thing, and the Defenders aid them in their war against the alien Badoon.
The Guardians were next featured in Marvel Presents #3–12 (Feb. 1976 – Aug. 1977). This was followed by a series of appearances in Thor Annual #6 (1977), The Avengers #167–177 (Jan.–Nov. 1978) and #181 (March 1979), Ms. Marvel #23, Marvel Team-Up #86 (Oct. 1979), and Marvel Two-in-One #61-#63 & #69 (Nov. 1980).
"Heaven" is the title of a popular song from 2004 by the AmericanTejano/Chicano rock band Los Lonely Boys. The song was written by brothers Henry, Jojo and Ringo Garza, who comprise the foundation of the band, and it appears on their multi-platinum self-titled album.
Reception
Released as a single in mid-2004, "Heaven" reached the Top 40 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart, peaking at 16 in August. Later that year, the song began a sixteen week run at number 1 on the BillboardAdult Contemporary chart in October. It was also a minor hit at country radio, where it peaked at number 46.
AllMusic reviewer Thom Jurek describes the song as "infectious" and draws comparisons to the music of Freddie King, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Los Lobos. He states that "Heaven" is "a single in the old sense of the word: killer hook, easy groove, a slippery but unmistakable bridge with a beautiful vocal to boot -- all coming in under four minutes."
"Heaven (Must Be There)" (sometimes shortened to just "Heaven") is a song by Eurogliders from their album This Island. The song was released as a 7" vinyl and a 12" in May 1984.
The single brought the band to fame, especially in Australia, where the single peaked at No.2 on Kent Music Report Singles Chart in 1984. It was also a major hit in New Zealand, peaking at No.6, and a more modest hit in North America, hitting No.47 in Canada, and No.65 in the US.
Infinity (stylized as ∞) is the second international studio album (fifth overall release) by Filipina pop and R&B singer Charice. The album was released exclusively early in Japan on October 5, 2011 by Warner Bros. Records.
Charice launched a seven-city tour across Asia in order to promote the official Asian release of the album in Summer 2012. The tour began on March 2, 2012.
The album's release in America was planned, but eventually cancelled.
Background
On August 16, 2011, Charice's record label, Warner Bros. Records, announced their plans to release her second studio album early in Japan on October 5, 2011. On August 30 it was announced that the album would be titled Infinity.
On March 28, 2012, Charice said that she had been working on the American release of the album and that its track listing would differ from the Asian version. No release date had been decided at the time.
On July 27, 2013, she revealed the main reason why the album was never released in America: "Some of the songs didn't pass their standards. They're more about upbeat, danceable songs over there," she said in a statement.
The storyline concerns issues built up in multiple Marvel comic books as part of the Marvel NOW! initiative, primarily Avengers and New Avengers. These issues include a threat to the universe by an ancient race of aliens known as the Builders. The second is the mysterious ailments plaguing the universe with Earth at the center. The third is the political ramifications these events have on Earth's relationship to the rest of the galactic community.
The story itself involves Thanos attacking Earth while the Avengers are in space uniting the universe against the Builders, with the events of the 2013 "Age of Ultron" storyline acting as a catalyst for the rest of the universe to formally target Earth. The various tie-ins tell Thanos's attack from the perspective of various Marvel characters.

[Lyrics: Sando] [Verse 1:] Behind every chapter, Is the shadow of a lie. Crushing my very soul, And yet you fail to believe, In what I am..... What you made me..... But can't see. Am I not seen clearly? ...all I want is an answer. [Chorus:] Who am I? What am I? What Have I become? - Another pawn from your neglect. And still you lay me, down to rest... As a child you call your own. [Verse 2:] All my dreams lay shattered, From this wasted life. And what I see through your eyes, Is all I see of mine. What I had..... What I once loved..... What I lost. Taken too soon from them.
