Greenfield Village a small subdivision in Northwest Houston Texas which has seen a spike in crime since 2003. It is located off Veterans Memorial Drive and West Greens Road. It has only 558 singe family properties the zip code is 77066 in the area . The neighborhood is primarily black. It has seen a rise in assaults, burglary, and theft. The children in this neighborhood attend Eisenhower High School, Plummer Middle school, Conley Elementary and Wilson intermediate.
Greenfield Village was a conditional Amtrak station in Dearborn, Michigan, served by the Wolverine. It was a stop for the Henry Ford Museum and is only used for reserved tour groups of 20 or more people, thus making it one of Amtrak's least-busy stations. Prior to 2006, the station was a regular, but seasonal stop (summer only).
Greenfield Village has a single platform, a pedestrian crosswalk, and no station house. However, the pedestrian crosswalk leads to the historic 1858-built Smith's Creek Depot, which serves the parallel Weiser Railroad on the museum grounds. Smith's Creek Depot was built in Smiths Creek, Michigan in 1858 by the Chicago, Detroit and Canada Grand Trunk Junction Rail Road Company, along a line that wasn't finished until 1859, and was acquired by the Grand Trunk and Western Railroad in 1928. The station house was moved to Dearborn a year later.
A new $28 million station was constructed which combined the Greenfield Village and Dearborn stations. Construction began in early 2012.
Visiting the famous Greenfield Village - It was amazing!
Henry Ford's Greenfield Village, also known as "The Henry Ford" in Dearborn Michigan, has been one of the most requested places for me to visit on Randomland, and today for the first time ever, I have finally made it to the amazing historical village comprised of 100 historic buildings such as The Wright Brothers bicycle shop, Henry Ford's Childhood Home, Abe Lincoln's courthouse and so much more.... SO much more in fact that I don't even know how to explain this place in words, it must be seen in the episode! It's not just buildings either! From Abraham Lincoln's Ford Theater chair to Rosa Park's famous Bus, from the Wienermobile and Rare Fords (Model A, Model B, Model S, Quadricycle etc) to Mold-o-Rama machines and amazing historical artifacts, the museum blew my mind! And all of this is...

The Story Behind Greenfield Village | The Henry Ford’s Innovation Nation
On this segment of The Henry Ford’s Innovation Nation, Mo Rocca meets with Jim Johnson, curator of historic structures and landscapes, to learn more about the planning it takes to create a village.
Henry Ford’s idea of re-creating a historic village in Dearborn, Michigan, began to take shape when he restored his own birthplace (1919) and childhood school (1923) on their original sites. In 1926, he proceeded with a plan to create his own historic village, choosing a plot of land in the midst of Ford Motor Company property and beginning to acquire the buildings that would become part of Greenfield Village.
